The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable and accommodating when it comes to finding out prices of things that potentially may not be marked. terrible, terrible terrible Went in today and was going to buy a piece of art. got to the checkout desk to find out that they were closing. The staff could not wait to get out of the store and even switched off the lights while we were there one of them even going as far as making rude comments,about us. Updating this review to state that this place, sadly, has become ridiculously overpriced. Came up this weekend to find a vintage fur to wear to a chilly outdoor wedding and found something nice but damaged, priced aggressively at $325, when I asked if they would accept $250 was snarkily told they could give me 10% off. Went home and found about 20 mink stoles on Ebay /Etsy for $100-$150 and bought a very nice one, undamaged, on Etsy for $150. I love a good resale/antique shop but it is not worth getting ripped off like this. I'm still annoyed about how cold I was at that wedding haha. read more

I don't recommend this place. The price for items without a tag is unreasonably high. The staff do not know the history behind products to justify the price. They only offer sales to those who "ask nicely", based on their judgement. The staff repeatedly ask to hold your items upfront which made my girlfriend and I personally feel untrustworthy. read more

I'm sure this place is excellent for antique sellers and buyers. There is so much to look at. My problem always is how overpriced everything is. With a store this large I'm sure they have to charge more. I didn't really see anything I wanted to purchase, but saw true antique lovers there. As always my other problem is having to hunt someone down if you need anything behind a glass case- and there are many in this store. Worth the visit for sure. read more

Wow!! My all time favorite antique mall and I consider myself well educated on antique malls. This is definitely not a junk store but more importantly it's not "hoity toity" either. Lots of well stocked booths with clean high end, hard to find antiques as well as many things you'd like to find anywhere. Some of the items I found I have never seen before like fabulous marble statues found only in the old capital like buildings! I felt like the prices for even the higher priced items were reasonable for what I have seen before! I can't for the life of me believe this business only has 3.5 stars! But then again people have been in such a negative state of being for a few years I guess people are more prone to express negative experience's over positive ones. read more

Me and my wife have been a fan of this place since it's first location . Anytime you walk in the door , you definitely feel like that door was a time portal . The pieces from art to furniture are timeless as they are greatly preserved . You almost always find something you didn't know you needed , yet there it is , maybe a set of beautiful plate wear or a desk in need of a good home . Instantly you begin seeing a new looking version of your old boring living room or den . Good prices and even better service . The place itself is a treasure now even closer in its new location . I've shopped here many many times over the years and have always found the most incredible, unique and interesting things on every visit. It is the true definition of treasure trove. Everything is meticulously curated and merchandised in such beautiful and thoughtful vignettes. You want to buy it all!! I haven't been in since the world was struck by covid, but after reading a recent Yelp review that someone posted regarding the employees not wearing masks..... well, I personally can NOT wait to come in for another visit and support this amazing store and say "hello" to their logical and smart and delightfulemployees. Wow, wow, wow! There is SO much to look at here. I had driven by a million times over the years and always wanted to stop in, but never actually did. I'm currently redecorating parts of our home and was looking for some vintage bowls/vases and cool black & white prints for some shelves, therefore, it was the perfect excuse to pop in! This store was literally 10x larger than I expected!! There are *at least* 5 aisles, each having about 8 cubes of displays. Definitely set aside a good amount of time to come here so that you can see all that they have to offer. I would by no means call this store "organized" but I could tell that some cubbies were on theme and I'm sure have significance. They have everything from antique dishes/pottery and mid-century finds, to larger furniture, clothing/accessories, and artwork. I did find a few things that caught my eye but honestly, the price points were just a lot higher than I was looking to spend for a bowl/vase. I do appreciate that they're antique and probably of value but I just couldn't make the splurge! That said, if you have some money to spend and truly appreciate the stories and age of some of the pieces, you can definitely score here. Regardless, it's worth a stop in if you're looking to kill some time and appreciate all things home decor/antiques!! read more

Visited Wednesday 01/06/2021. The two employees were not wearing masks. There were also 2 customers talking to the employees when I entered. They were also not wearing a mask. Despite this store's 20,000 square foot of space to social distance, ad mentioned by the owner in previous responses, the group of four maskless people were huddled together talking about politics. After the two customers left, another man came in and went behind the desk with his domino's pizza boxes. He, an employee as well, had no mask and was less than 6 feet away from the other two employees. This crude paper was on the check out counter says (see photo): "40 years worth of research for HIV...no vaccine. At least 100 years of research for cancer...no vaccine. Ongoing research for common cold...no vaccine. Less than a year for COVID-19 vaccine. I'll pass that shot!! Wake up people!!" This is not only ignorant but is missinformative. I suspect no employee at this business is a licensed healthcare professional and should not be encouraging the public to NOT receive a vaccine. Phoenix COVID cases are on the rise, and according to the CDC (01/06/2021) Arizona was #1 in the world for highest COVID infection rate. Wake up people to that! DO NOT SHOP HERE. read more

Found this place in the Arizona register Vol 25. Issues. This is one of those places that you walk into in a super overwhelming. There's quite a bit of Booths here and a quite a bit of spaces it goes very far deep in the back. When we pulled up we had just missed their weekend flea market where the dealers pull their stuff out side to the parking lot. This is one of those places if you love old style furniture from 1800 French and Europe this place is for you. Lots of stuff to decorate a home with but you need that kind of space. Lots of furniture, dining, glassware, Decor items like statues and figurines. Finding help was a little tricky. Definitely nice place to walk around. read more

Do NOT claim to be an antique store if your vendors are selling Beany Babies, Pikachu, or some other stuff manufactured to be collected. (Did I mention I may be grouchy, too?) Gloriously, this store is jammed full of interesting, truly lovely, antiques, and jewelry. After running around shops in Phoenix every winter here for years, we wandered in here. We were greeted by nice folks at the door and started exploring. The place has something for about every taste. Cases of gorgeous jewelry and smalls, cut crystal, decorator stuff, tables, chairs, lighting. Omg. I ran across a pair of 1830's matched Sandwich glass whale oil lamps with matching and correct burners. (A bitch to find, even if on the east coast) Negotiated a small discount and scurried home with My Precious. If you can't find something interesting here, just quit trying. read more

What a pleasant surprise to discover it was full of many of my old favorites as well as some stunning new additions. The space is bright and well laid out with great staff (many thank you David, Carol, James, Natalie and the gang). This is truly one stop shopping, from beautiful period antiques to fun and funky gifts there is something to suit everyone's taste. Well-curated antiques. Not a flea market. Lots of interesting finds. But the staff were unwelcoming, rude and clearly suspicious of customers. How do I know? Because, as other reviewers mentioned, a staff member literally followed my adult daughter and I around for the first 10 minutes. And not inconspicuously. It was funny, but also irritating. There were several things I would've liked to purchase had the staff been friendlier. If you don't mind an adversarial relationship when you're spending 1K on an antique light fixture, this place could work for you. My favorite antique store in the valley. This has the biggest selection at really great prices for the things I look for. Art especially. I have a couple of favorite vendors that seem to have new items every week or so. The manager is also incredibly helpful and nice and is always around when I need help. I love this store. This antique store continues to be my most frequented in Phoenix. I can always pop in and visit my favorite booths and they will have nearly always have something new to inspire me! They have a HUGE selection of most everything, paintings, clocks, lamps, for example and of course miscellaneous items galore. No one helps you unless you explicitly ask for it. Best finds: a "hand-carved wooden Assyrian Ram", multiple wooden carved animal heads, and a Fritz Scholder painting. They also play 60's music. Bonus. Phoenix is full of generic, corporate stores full of cheap stuff. Antique Gatherings is NOT one of those stores. Every time I stop in the selection is interesting and unique. The antique silver Rosary Beads I bought at Antique Gatherings for my fiancé have become her favorite piece of jewelry and are destined to become a family heirloom. My teenage daughter loves exploring he aisles and I enjoy speaking with the owner Amanda and the rest of the friendly staff. This place is amazing for all antique finds! It is a HUGE gallery with different areas from different sellers. I felt ease with shipping and no vendors staring at your looking through their items which I hate in an antique store. True high quality antique finds- not cheap "used" finds you would find in a thrift store. Can't wait to find many great finds here in the future! read more

Rude and can find a better place to spend my money. Arrived and doors were locked before posted closing hours. Staff inside bit didn't come to door - I had to knock. When answered door he rudely stated it was past closing time. When I mentioned that it was before posted closing he curtly stated "it is past 5:30 and they are closed." According to both my phone at watch it was only 5:00." I have spent many years visiting antique shops and have never had anyone so rude, especially when faced with customers wanting to spend money at their store. I definitely will be shopping somewhere else and never be back regardless of their location. It is establishments like these that give good dealers a bad wrap. Shame on them!!!!! read more
