Normally, I like to be present for inspections, but because it didn't work out this time, my wife was there. After several estimates, she settled on Bug Baron for their clear explanation of the treatment, professionalism, and willingness to get their hands dirty and be thorough in locating termite activity. I had The Termite Guy come out since they did the last service over 5 years ago, and they were not as thorough. Not to mention, they focused more on selling me on the company, yet were not willing to do anything that would give me the impression they had identified the issue, so I went with Bug Baron. Simon, my point of contact, is a pro. He was always responsive, willing to answer my questions, and patient in dealing with my schedule. Given that I had received so many estimates, he price matched what i had been quoted. Further adding to the value of them vs the other guys, his warranty was for 5 years, while the others were either 1 or 3 years, and if you wanted a 3-year, you had to pay a pretty penny. Overall, great company, great communication with Simon, great value for the scope of work, and very interested in addressing my issues without pushing to sell me on something I may not need. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing and raises serious concerns about their ethics and business practices. During the initial inspection, the technician failed to enter the home and conducted only an exterior review. Despite this limited assessment, they reported dry rot and evidence of termite damage that needed repair for the VA loan approval. We were subsequently quoted approximately $5,000 for the necessary work, which the sellers agreed to and was scheduled. Rockwell later issued clearance indicating that all required repairs had been completed. However, during our final walkthrough, we discovered that the work was not fully complete. After intervention from our realtor, the company was slow to respond, failed to prioritize the issue, and even missed a scheduled appointment to complete the outstanding work. We were then informed they could not return for several more days, even though the loan had already closed based on their certification--something we relied on in good faith when proceeding with signing the closing documents and getting the keys (our mistake). Only after significant pressure did Rockwell return the following day. When they did, the quality of work was subpar. Porch pillars were installed without any bolts, paint was left splattered carelessly, siding was replaced with an incorrect material and dry rot was painted over. We also have no confidence that proper termite treatment was performed. Further concerns arose from the initial inspection itself, which failed to identify obvious issues, including a severely termite-infested bush on the property and a shed, and termite frass in an electrical panel, along with swarmers stuck in webs along the exterior of the house. Given these oversights and the substandard repairs, we hired another company to conduct a new inspection at our own expense after closing because we did not trust that the work was properly completed. This company felt the house should have been tented prior to closure. Most troubling is that Rockwell issued official clearance required for our VA loan to close despite the fact that the work had not been completed at the time. This is a serious matter and calls into question the integrity of their reporting and compliance with required standards of a VA loan. Due to this experience, we cannot recommend this company. We strongly advise others to exercise caution and seek more reliable, thorough, and ethical service providers.

We used a well know franchise company for the first year and never felt completely happy with the service but thought because they were so big, they must be the best. We finally realized they were only addressing the insect issue and were completely ignoring the field mice issue we had. After finding mouse after mouse making their home in our garage, our BBQ, our backyard, we decided to call Signature Pest Control for a free inspection to see if they could help. Jeremy came out and did a very thorough inspection, found all the areas the mice were finding their way in and informed us of the treatment recommendations. He said the office would be getting back to us in the next day or so with the quotes and left without pressuring us to sign up for immediate service. Signature had the quote to us just a few hours later via email (which I was a very reasonable rate) again with no pressure to sign for their services. Jeremy and the office staff followed up with us shortly after just to confirm we understood what was recommended, asked if we had any additional questions and just overall provided great customer service. We decided to sign on with Signature for service and have been extremely happy almost a year later! After the first round of traps, we found all but one with a mouse in it and our mice problem has since diminished. I highly recommend Signature Pest Control for their great business practices, amazing customer service, and their overall care and compassion towards those they service.
