So picked up two pizzas to go on Labor Day. Yeah! They were open! Pleasant phone demeanor . Got a large cheese (Karen) lol and a combo that my friend wanted. Medium. She appreciated that the bell pepper was put on freshly! The (owner) was so pleasant upon pickup and I hope that when I visit the BI next January he has some tee shirts that say Hilo so I can buy some for friends. They are adorbs! read more

So happy we found this place! We had a long day at the Botanical Garden and Volcano National Park that pizza was the obvious craving. Called to order from leaving the National Park which is about a 45min drive. The girl who took our order timed it perfectly! The pizza was done once we arrived. There was seating avail inside so they were kind enough to let us eat there although we had requested to pick up. Seating is limited but very nice atmosphere to be in! Gamers will love! We ordered the Bradda Yosemite Sam, Pacmans Luau, and garlic knots. Everything taste amazing! read more

This was our first meal in Hilo and prior to coming here all I ever heard was "food in Hawaii isn't good since everything is imported". Well Bam! Incorrect from the get go. This is def the top rated pizza spot here in town. The Dough is something special. It is thin but I wouldn't necessarily call it a thin crust because it's cooks softer than normal crispy thin crusts, I think that's what makes it so unique aside from its yummy flavor! We had a cheese with half chicken for the kiddo (it's their breaded meat), and the Pacmans Luau. With jet lag at the time I didn't get to go in but I wish I had considering the 80s/90s gaming theme it touts with a visit. Don't forget to ask for a side of ranch! I haven't tried any other pizza in town since and I don't want to! Will definitely come back here for another before we head home. :) read more

Worst experience, the service is horrible. We called to say we have a 10 top and they made like they could accommodate us in the "noodle" side of the restaurant. I had ten kids so I wanted to make sure there was something for all of them. Well that wasn't the case. When we showed up into our reservation, the server said they changed their mind and shut that section down. We literally planned our papery because of that space we needed. The privacy they wer going to give the kids. They approved it since it was slow and Then to have them not care about us when we got there just shows that even their management don't hold them accountable. On vacation, I always scope out a pizza spot. So when I knew I was coming to Hilo, I did a quick Google search and this place was on the list. It has video games and pizza! So I knew it would make it family happy while out and about. So after a long day of beaches and volcanoes we stopped here for a bite. Convenient street parking led us to this gamers paradise. The menu was awesome and full of references. We ordered the Mrs. Pac-Man's luau, and the bbq/Buffalo chicken pizza. Asked for the pizza well done and when it arrived, it looked amazing. Topped to perfection, the pizza is thinner than average and reminded me of pizza crust from Europe. The server was super nice, she hooked it up with the ranch, Parmesan and peppers. She was a bit busy but she treated everyone like they were her only customer. I had about 7 slices and made the leader board on Tetris :-) upon exiting, I couldn't leave without some souvenirs so I'm glad they had hats and stickers for purchase. Really wanted to like this place. The pizza was super floppy. You cannot even really pick it up. I tried to fold it in half long-ways but even then if you tried to pick it up to eat it just fell down. The dough is very thin almost like a raw tortilla. The dough was weird like it didn't rise at all and only cooked a tiny bit on the bottom the rest was uncooked. It just was not very good. There was a huge amount of cheese, I could not even eat one slice and had a huge extra pile of cheese leftover that fell off. Just not really good and certainly not very appetizing. When I get food that is not very good I feel like I wasted my money which then makes me mad. read more

The artwork on the walls (and the baby changing station, hehe) screams talent. Personally Antics is the best pizza in Hilo! I've tried a few others but Antics is my go to. I like the thin crust, and the tomato and cheese they use is very flavorful. If you choose a meat like pepperoni or chicken they give you generous portions. Prices are very reasonable and folks are friendly. read more

I ordered extra cheese & extra sauce on thin crust. Made exactly as I ordered thank you. The gaming concept was interesting but I didn't stay. Most interesting was the PMB's. (Private Mail Boxes) What a great idea & good location with 24/7 access. Having a PMB is a great thing for a young, single person or one who doesn't have a permenant address & won't likely have one in the future. If you're a renter, a PMB is the answer, and you can use that address for you gov issued ID. (with a po box you can't) read more

Pizza was incredible. Crust was amazing - crispy. We didn't know what to expect before we visited so found the gaming themes and gaming systems a lot of fun. Each small booth has a game you can play and they have other monitors you can go over to play. Such a fun idea and wish there were more restaurants like this around. Absolutely love this place! Although she was super busy and running everywhere, the server, Kai, was extremely accommodating and seemed to telepathically know what we needed before we could ask. Everything we ordered came out perfectly. The pizza was incredible, thin and crispy, with plenty of specialty picks any kind of person could enjoy. The booths were equipped with gaming systems and I was able to play the Super Nintendo system FOR FREE. This experience brought me such a warm nostalgic feeling and I usually never feel compelled to leave any kind of review for businesses but Antics Pizza was so wonderful and I will definitely be telling everyone I know to check it out. read more

The atmosphere is great and there are many options for games! The service was helpful and quick and the individual slices of pizza were made quickly and came out hot and fresh. The vegan pizza is incredible, tastes gourmet! They use fresh garlic for the bread too. Don't miss going to this place. My favorite place on the island. I'm from the East Coast where pizza is a religion and they have great pizza! Love the atmosphere and Justin the owner is so personable. He noticed the other day I was kinda down. I was having car problems and my cat had been missing for 3 days and he said this slice is on me. Yes! They have slices when available. Different pizza options and this was a great spot to stop at after a long drive from Kona. The garlic knots were delicious, the pasta was cheesy, and the pizza was amazing! My only issue is the people sleeping right next to the front door as we tried to walk in and if you ask for a to go box, you get charged. I've never experienced that before. read more

Everything about this place was fantastic. There was one server serving the whole restaurant and taking care of to-go orders. She was super kind and patient. My family of 14 came in without knowing this was a pretty small place and she took excellent care of us and all other guests. The pizza was absolutely delicious and we had a blast playing a wide variety of games. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone, but if you have a large group, call ahead and pick a slower time of day. read more
