I would definitely come back again. The pizza was great although a little pricey, worth it. I got the pandemic pizza and the sonic the veg hog pizza. The white sauce on the veg hog pizza was amazing and completely made the pizza. The pandemic pizza was also good just in a different way. I personally like slighter thinner crusts than thicker, and that's just what this crust was. It wasn't thin enough to be called a thin crust but you definitely have to fold the pizza to stop it from giving in to gravity and drooping. If this isn't your type of crust just keep this in mind and remember that the flavor is amazing! I have heard and saw that they have a arcade game room inside, however never experienced it. Lastly the parking is a little difficult since it is in the downtown area. There's a small parking lot on the makai (ocean side) or back side of the restaurant. read more

We arrived a few minutes later than the estimated pick-up time, and had to wait another ten or fifteen minutes or so before the order was ready. It's a small place, not much room for the eat-in crowd, but the video games seemed popular. In any case, both the pizza and salad were pretty good. Pizza had a relatively thin crust. It wasn't overly greasy, as some can be. The caesar salad fed two of us. So we were happy campers. Parking was limited, and it took a few minutes to find a spot relatively nearby. But overall, we were happy with Antics and would recommend it. Don't expect fine dining, but a decent meal and an ok price. read more

Visited Hilo this past weekend and found out about this place thanks to yelp. Decided to spend our family dinner here on a Saturday. Overall, BEST decision ever! We walked in and got seated right away. We were pretty much the only ones there. However, more families and couples were coming in later on. Anyways, first of all, my son and nephews instantly started playing video games... Yes... this spot has different video game consoles to play while you wait for your food. The games consoles consisted of Sega Genesis, X-box, Playstation, Nintendo switch and a Simpsons arcade. While the boys were occupied, us adults looked over their menu (they serve pizza & ramen). We ordered two pizzas and two pitchers of drinks. The boys fave was the Poke Ball Pizza (half pepperoni and half cheese). Prices for their food are reasonable. All in all, we were full and we all had a blast. The keikis didn't want to leave, so if you want to enjoy pizza and video games, this is the place to be. read more

I really want to like this place more. I really do. It's got some fun artwork all over the walls, it's cool that they have the video game consuls for free for everyone to play..... ..... But good Lord what the F kind of pizza place doesn't do half-and-half? That's like the fundamentals of pizza. It's me and a vegetarian and you're telling me we gotta get two pizzas instead of just putting chicken on part of it? No. Bad form Antics. Bad form. To make matters even worse I asked the waitress instead of a half-and-half Pizza how about just half and half sauce. Same toppings, half red half white sauce. Still no. To make matters even worse worse...... just tell me straight up " No we don't do that." There's no argument that can be had there other than me thinking it's dumb. But when you start telling me things like "especially when it's so busy it gets complicated" and there's only a couple tables with people....you're now just looking like foolish excuse makers lying about something blatantly obviously untrue. Making me roll my eyes at you. Is it really that complicated to put two sauces on a pizza? Pretty sure I've done that at 100 other places who never get overwhelmed with the complications but that's okay. And then to continue and tell me how the sauces have a hard time staying on the same side of the pizza and they just get mixed together anyway. How does that happen? I've never experienced this with any half-and-half sauce pizza before. What an anomaly The pizza took super long to come out and then when we got it it was an undercooked piece of slop. Literally every piece we took off the box had no tip to it. It was like they had cut the center of our pizza out and just put toppings in the hole. Upon closer inspection we realized that the uncooked thin layer of dough was simply stuck to the box with a bunch of slop piled on top. ..... They definitely put vegan cheese on the pizza which is not what the pizza we ordered came with....and that stuff was identical to glue....quite literally had to scrape our food off of the cardboard. All in all....not the best experience. Not the worst experience....but not great. Perhaps the ramen is a better option. read more

We had so much fun playing games at Antics Pizza. We stopped by right after landing in Hilo, suitcases in tow, and we ordered the Master Pig which we really enjoyed. The pizza here is great! Crispy and thin with good cheese. And the games make the wait go by quickly. Definitely worth a trip here. The staff here are very kind and go above and beyond. We'd finished our meal and left when problems with our rental car led us to return and ask if we could sit in the corner while we figured out alternate transportation. They were incredibly gracious and said that we were even welcome to play games if we were waiting. Brandy especially made an impact by calling her friend who helped us get a car that night (thank you!!!) Antics Pizza is a special place for us now, and we really appreciate the people who've made this place what it is. Will be back! read more

It's been a minute since I've been on the Big Island (sigh), but here are my notes for this place: "awesome concept, passionate owner, friendly staff, good NY-ish style pizza" Awesome concept: it's videogames and pizza. Seems like it's been done before right? Pizza Hut had arcades. Chuck n' Cheez...well..wasn't that their whole thing?! It's different here. Every table has a little mini-console loaded with a dozen+ games. Passionate owner: he either knew everyone here or was on the fast track to doing so! Charismatic, empathetic, and gregarious are words I would use to describe him! Friendly staff: they take after the owner! NY-ish style of pizza: they have their own take on the pizza, but it is very good! It is very similar to NY-style (thin and floppy), which I love! Only complaint is that they don't have beer but...maybe alcohol laws in HI are weird and/or maybe they want to ensure it keeps the family vibes. read more

I love this place! My boyfriend, his son and I all wanted to come here due to the boys being video game addicts! They also love pizza and ramen too so this place was heaven. My husband and I have different choices of pizza so when we find a place where they sell individual pizzas, it's a win in my book! Let's talk about the establishment: They've got a gaming theme and the consoles to go along with it! We sat at the table with the Nintendo system and played some Mario Kart while waiting for our food. The food: I got the Pacman's Luau and it was so good!
