Great Italian spot for a dinner date and night out! As soon as you walk in, the restaurant has a really cozy and romantic vibe. All the staff members are nice and gave great recommendations. We sat at the bar before heading to our table and were able to get customized mocktails, which were amazing! For dinner, we decided to try different pastas and all were amazing. Definitely recommend trying the spaghetti cacio e pepe here!

Had the loveliest dinner at Antica Presa in Brooklyn and honestly, I'm still thinking about it. The vibe was super cozy with the dozens of dim globe lights lining the ceiling, a candle on each table, and shelves of wine bottles lining the walls. It felt like the perfect date night spot. I ordered the Spaghetti alla Chitarra with anchovies, butter, lemon, parsley, and breadcrumbs, and it was so good I could've cried. Bright, buttery, salty in the best way. My date had the Raviolo Ricotta e Spinaci and really liked it too (though I didn't snag a photo ((was too busy enjoying the moment)). Our waiter was really helpful with wine suggestions, and while there were a couple of moments where the staff didn't seem totally in sync (like two different people trying to grab our silverware) it didn't take away from the experience. We ended the night with their tiramisu: light, creamy, just the right amount of sweet. Highly recommend if you're looking for a cute Italian spot with great food and a romantic atmosphere.

My wife and I celebrated our 38th wedding anniversary here and it was amazing! From the incredible warm reception walking in until our departure, every step of the way we were made to feel like family! We dined in the Rome location last year and were blown away and decided it was time to drive in from "the Island" to Williamsburg to celebrate our occasion. The Food, the Wine, the Service all 5+ stars! Our incredible host (the owner) and our waiter from Naples, made the experience so memorable! We went with the Taste of Rome 4 course dinner and an incredible Italian wine that paired beautifully with our meal. Everything, and I mean Everything was spectacular! Run there and enjoy all that this US outpost (by the way I'd say it's a tie between the two restaurants as I know the brothers compete, lol)! We'll be back!

The menu is very inventive for an Italian restaurant so that is very much appreciated. We started off with the baby gem salad and the duck prosciutto dish with mustard ice cream. Both tasted great and were done in ways I had never seen before. For my main I ordered the cacio e pepe. This is one of my favorite pasta dishes and it was disappointing here. It was just missing something. The interior is beautiful and the service was attentive but overall the dinner missed the mark a bit and I'm not sure if it is worth the price.

The space is both chic and inviting. Service is great and they strike a good balance of being attentive but not annoying. We did the $60 tasting menu and all the dishes were amazing! Can't wait to come back and try more

Absolutely incredible experience - our group of 6 unanimously agrees this was the best restaurant experience we have ever had. Beautiful evening ambience, warm and approachable, yet elevated and refined. First on the food: it was a whole new dimension of Italian food. Familiar dishes but with a new depth of flavor I had not experienced before. The restaurant's roots are in Rome, which means they have a unique take on certain dishes.. there's an emphasis on a very specific level of al dente pasta, a more intensely rich type of cacio e pepe, and pork sourced from Italy served as Guanciale (crispy bits served on top of your pasta). The buffalo mozzarella crudo was delicious and delicate. The duck prosciutto had a pleasantly smokiness at the end of each bite, and the octopus was very tender and flavorful! We were very well taken care of by our wonderful server Ricardo as well as Lorenzo, the owner himself! He suggested the best thing: they offered a Bitico (spelling?) which isn't on the menu, but is like a split pasta dish where all of us could try two of their specialties on a single plate. Both the cacio e pepe and rigatoni were other worldly. Overall I would highly recommend! We had such a wonderful time, such a warm welcome and lovely evening, along with an incredible dining experience! We'll be back!

Old world Rome meets contemporary dining at Antica Pesa. A stunning build out and spacious restaurant is great whether in a large group or an intimate dinner for two. You're treated like family from the moment you walk in, and odds are the owner Lorenzo will visit each table multiple times throughout the night! We happened to be here on jazz night, which is every Thursday at the restaurant. This added a beautiful ambiance to our dining experience. Who doesn't love a little background ear candy? Antica Pesa has been around for 10 years in Williamsburg, but did I mention their main restaurant in Rome? YES, ROME. The owners are fourth generation family members paying homage to their ancestors who started it all 100 years ago. YES, A CENTURY AGO! Their Roman-style cuisine is exactly what you would get in the home land. CRUDO E BUFALA CROCCANTE // Baked Filo Dough Wrapped Buffalo Mozzarella, 24-Month Aged Prosciutto Di Parma. If you order one dish here, this is it. This is something you won't find at many Italian restaurants stateside. Absolutely beautiful. The flaky dough marries the real deal mozz and aged prosciutto in a way that melted on my tongue. POLPO E RADICI // Roasted Octopus, Raw Honey, Licorice Root Powder, Potato & Leek Cream, Chili Pepper, Charred Parsnips. Whenever I see octopus on a menu I have to try it. This had a nice kick from the chiles, but the roasted flavor from the octopus paired with the potato-leek cream was something more restaurants need to take note of. RIGATONI ALL'AMATRICIANA // Guanciale, Slow-Cooked San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Pecorino Romano. Guanciale, not pancetta. Guanciale, not bacon. If you've had this dish before without Guanciale you haven't lived. Really a simple dish when you think about it, but the flavors extracted from the crispy pork jowls are the reason why this dish is a Roman staple. TIRAMISÙ // Espresso Soaked Savoiardi Cookies, Mascarpone, Bitter Chocolate, Cocoa Powder. The light, airy texture made my wife and I grin from ear to ear. You'll won't be able to put down the fork. CANNOLI // Crispy Shells, Impastata Sheep's Ricotta, Pistachios, Cacao Nibs, Pistachio Cream, Candied Orange. Wow, one of the better cannolis I've had. And I've had a lot growing up in an Italian household. It's a more refined take, but equally delightful. Unforgettable dining experience. Don't miss out on the open kitchen, wonderful wine selection and al fresco patio dining. 10/10 would go back in a heartbeat!

Had a great overall experience dining here. The food was amazing and the restaurant itself had a really romantic charm to it (nice mood lighting). We told the waiter we were splitting the orders of pasta and then came already divided which was super convenient. Points were lost on the service. While our waiter was nice he didn't come around much and there were really long waits in between courses. The restaurant was full and it seemed as though they were understaffed. We also heard the table next to us complain of a really long wait for both their drinks and meals. I would definitely recommend eating here just don't have anywhere to be after!

Went here last night and split the fennel salad, mushroom risotto, and pumpkin pasta with my friend and they were all amazing fall dishes. I honestly thought the risotto and pasta were some of the best Italian dishes I have had in NY. I do take a star off for service. We arrived at 6:30 (no reservation), and roughly 75% of the tables were open. The hostess told us that she had a lot of reservations coming at 7 but we could sit at the bar. I asked if we could sit at the bar and wait for a table. She said no. Fine. So we spent the whole evening (1.5 hours), at the bar, and let me tell you, a good number of those tables (at least 5-6) remained open the whole night, staring at us as we sat at the bar. And she turned away lots of customers, from a restaurant that still had open tables at 8. It was so weird. BUT the bartender was very friendly and helpful!

I really like this place. I went several times in Rome and Brooklyn. In NY you can often reliably find a table. I usually have amateiciana, cacio e pepe, and crudo e bufala crocante. They work well with Roman dishes, pretty aithentic. The interior is unusual.

    Italian style!

The Highlights: * Polpo (Octopus): This was the standout for me. The greens were incredibly fresh and the dressing was light and balanced--not overpowering at all. * Classic Tomato Spaghetti: You can always judge an Italian place by its red sauce. Bouquet is a small business that hasn't promoted much on Instagram or Eater, so it seems to have gone under the radar. I'm hoping I can do it justice as the first reviewer on this platform. We stumbled upon Bouquet during a mini bar crawl in Greenpoint. We initially planned to hit a few spots, but ended up settling in here for most of the night. We were mostly served by Eric who I believe was the owner operator. He's a NYC native who is super passionate about wine. The wine bar focuses on natural wines and other wines which emphasize minimal additives. The goal here seems to be to sell from producers who try to capture magic in a bottle. The wine list is three pages, so it's long but still approachable. There are about ten wines available by the glass. I started with a Montelpuciano. I sampled a bit and found it to be gassy and funky. The bartender was receptive to my feedback and made another recommendation - a different wine from the Loire Valley. The second option was more of what I was looking for. It was a more structured wine with a more traditional palate. I decided to eventually circle back to the Montelpuciano for my second glass. I'm stubborn and like to give a different flavors a chance to grow on me. I'm a person who doesn't like blue cheese but continually tries it just to make sure. The aroma of this wine was minerally. The best description I have is an Iron adjacent smell. Almost like blood but not the same. The flavor was earthy and rooty. It was the best part of the wine. It had a short finish. I'm no wine expert, but I can tell I was tasting something special. The last time I had wine like this was at a wine making competition. I also tried some of the wine on draft. It was an easy going wine that you could easily have a few of. We didn't have any food, but it seemed like the signature of the menu was their smash burgers. They also had some small bites like fries, cheese, olives, charcuterie, and salads. The other big items were schnitzel and the Rigatoni Alla Vino. The operator said the Rigatoni was an ode to a dish from Don Peppe's - a locals' favorite Italian restaurant in Queens. The space is welcoming. It part of the new wave of wine bars that aren't stuffy. It's about trying fun and experimental wines. Young stuff. Not necessarily hawking out for carefully aged vintages. It's fun and the team is very hospitable. Music is what I'd expect from a Queens local. Lots of 90s and 2000s hip hop. Playlist was filled with A Tribe Called Quest, Talib Kweli, and Common. They have some big speakers and turntables for vinyl records. They had a new record from Future which I suppose is something to boost for audiophiles. Acoustics here were as good as any listening lounge that we've been to in NYC. Entertainment wise, they have some board games behind the bar. No TVs inside the bar, but they have a projector in the backyard which can be used for special events. Two gender neutral restrooms. The one I used was handicap accessible. There is a step to enter the establishment, but they have a button to press in order to request assistance with entry. Good luck to Bouquet! They'll certainly be my go to for wine in Greenpoint.
