Honestly I left pretty underwhelmed. In today's market that's over saturated with stuff, you really have to stand out. If I could give this store 0 stars then I would. I don't like to give negative reviews, but I was treated so poorly that I knew it was a must to do so. One of the managers (taller and stature/dark hair), exemplified the epitome of rudeness with multiple mean comments and disgust to assist with a return. She acted as if she is far above anyone else and has an attitude that is like I have never witnessed before. Her demeanor is toxic at its' greatest degree. Upper management should address this and have one on one conversations with each employee to get the atmosphere in this store improved. read more

I used to think this store was pretty great - decent brands, friendly service, and kind of my go-to for both work and going out clothes. It's really gone downhill. I was there last night and helped by four different people: one working the floor (a manager?) who couldn't answer basic questions about their current styles/size availability and who encouraged me to just order online (why work at a brick & mortar when you're literally turning your customers away?), one working the dressing room who deferred to the manager (see above) for every question I asked (maybe three that were very basic), and the two cashiers at the cash wrap. I wanted to exchange something and the cashier thought it was crazytown that I wanted to apply the credit from a previous purchase to a new one. Doesn't seem to be a big ask IMO. So unfriendly, unhelpful, and as I was walking away after my transaction, they proceeded to gossip under their breaths about by outlandish ask. Wow. read more

Long time customer. Mostly shop online as I live 4 hours from Here. Third time the rude store employees said "we are closing" at 7:40 pm. Also would not honor online price for exact pants in store. Been shopping in Anthropologie at Park Meadows mall for a few months. When I did an online return to this store, I was a little surprised that the younger cashier said they do not accept final sales. She asked the store manager and the store manager said they do not accept final sale returns. I explained politely to the store manager that I have returned final sale items before and never had a problem until now. I was able to submit my return online via their website and it gave me an option to return it to the store, so that's what I did. One of the items was a wrong item sent to me and it was on final sale. So, does this mean they will not accept a return even if they sent me the wrong item? This is not the first time this has happened. They have sent me the wrong item before. She said their system is "a little quirky" so she said she can make an exception and accept my return this time but not next time. Then, I had a second return on a different order and it was not a final sale item. The same younger cashier was totally clueless and didn't how to split the return into different method of payments. So she went off asking another cashier who is an old, super ugly woman with a nasty attitude, 'what does she want???' Then, she flippantly tells the other younger cashier, "she is not supposed to get the return" without even asking if the order is a final sale. The order is not a final sale. The employees who work there act like they have cancer and have very rude, nasty attitudes. Contacted Anthropologie customer service and they said if I file a claim on their website when I received a wrong item or damaged item even it's on final sale, the store will have to honor the return with no issues. The store manager never stated this exception to me, only said, "If it's a final sale, we don't accept returns!" which is disinformation and no customer service. The store manager and all the employees in this store are totally clueless on their own company policies. read more

I waited in line and when a sales rep was available, I walked up. She looked at me and said, "You're going to have to wait." I stepped back in line and she proceeded to stock more shopping bags. When she was done, she looked at me, turned around, threw away an empty Starbucks cup, talked to another associate, and then left the counter. Is customer service dead? read more

When I walk into an Anthropologie I feel like I just stepped into heaven. If I feel short on inspiration and creativity I go to anthro. If I am looking for yellow tights I go to anthro. If I want to add to my collection to knobs, guess what, I go to anthro. Its kind of like the eclectic girls playground. Anywhere from their window displays to their clothing even to the emails they send out-- there is nothing uninspiring about this store. So often when I am wearing something I got there and someone asks where I got it, their first response is " oh, I love that store! I just can't afford it." At that very moment it takes everything in me to not grab them by the shoulders and shake some sense into them and ask, "where is your inner sale shopper?!" Anthro has the best sales ever. So no excuses ladies, you can shop Anthropologie! From the artist in me to the girlie girl that I am; Anthro will always be at the top of my list. read more

I love Anthropologie and I love *this* Anthropologie. For me, this is a perfect store. I love the clothes - except the pants. I'm short (5'3") and their buyer must think that every woman is 6' tall. I swear, all of their pants are so unbelievably long on me and they are even too long to be altered and look right. I can do their capris in the summer though. But their tops, dresses, and sweaters are just perfect - love them. I could live in that store. And their staff is the best. I can not count how many times one of the ladies there has spent forever trying to track down a top in a specific size for me. I can always find someone to help me, even when they are crazy busy. Love the clothes, love the atmosphere in there, and love the girls who work there. read more

This is my second one star review for Anthropologie who graduated from "I will never go into the Denver store again" to "I will never shop online from these idiots again". I just spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to decipher why my credit card was over charged and inconsistent with my receipt and confirmation email. I guess they decide later to charge you separately for tax and for shipping. What kind of a business gives you a receipt/confirmation and then goes and charges a completely different amount, broken down into two charges on your credit card ?- totally confusing. I had to call to sort this out because they already feel totally shady to me. I'm done with Anthropology- sorry, some of your clothes are cute, but not cute enough to overcome this mediocrity and ridiculously poor customer service. read more

Despite there stuff being overpriced and willing to pay for something if it fits well along with loving it. This store has some customer service issues with employees not even asking if I needed help or greeting me. Stood in the dressing room waiting for a room to try clothing on for a few minutes with multiple employees walking past me with out acknowledging me or asking if I'm waiting for a room to try on the items. Not as big, or as well stocked as the Anthropologie (not Anthropology) at Cherry Creek, this is one of the few reasons to go to Park Meadows (if you live in the neighborhood). And, it's next to Nordstrom's (shoe department). Cute and eclectic fashions, medium priced and large fitting rooms. If you have to go to Park Meadows, check it out. read more

I went the weekend after Christmas and needed to exchange a few items. They didn't have my sizes on the floor, so I went to the register for help. The service was INCREDIBLE. The store was crazy busy, but the gal went out of her way to make sure I got what I needed. She even called another store to order my size. Yes, it is a chain and it's in the Mall but Anthropologie makes me feel like I am in a boutique shop in the middle of Soho. It has wonderful eclectic clothing, home furnishings, home and personal fragrances, jewelry and more! It is an escape from the ordinary and expected. I bought a top here for Christmas. I washed it according to the tag and it came out with a hole it it. I tried to return it and they refused. It had been washed but never worn. The manager said that was their policy. Talk about poor customer service. I won't shop there anymore. read more

Pretty much this store is geared towards upscale soccer moms and that is okay. But I'd rather drive a spike through my hand than shop there. Tried calling the store, got their fax machine. Awesome. So I had to go to the store to see if they had a couple of coffee mugs my wife (who is not a soccer mom) liked. Fine. After poking around the store for a few minutes I could not find the mugs no help in site I walked out and only then did a manager type wish me a good evening. The better question would have been "Did you find everything okay? Can I help." That was not the case, she was far more interested in milling about the store. To be fair the staff showed no interest in helping anyone be it a house frau or IT nerd. This was my first and ultimately last solo foray into this godawful store, first impressions are important and they failed. There are plenty of other stores that have nice stuff and are staffed by nice people that better deserve my money. read more

Cute clothes but very steep prices. I feel like it is catered more towards young mothers in terms of style. I do enjoy the home decor items and have purchased a number of things as gifts for friends. I got a great deal on some j brand jeans that I adore from here for about 40% off. The staff is very hit or miss and most are very snobby. I asked a petite girl with huge eyebrows for help and she was for the most part pleasant. read more
