Once you are outside the store you will notice your phone will start working again. Pick any shoe in the store and remember the price. Once you are outside the store "Google Search" the same shoe. You'll notice all shoes in Famous Footwear are for sale above the MSRP. Kohl's was "outed" for fake pricing, Famous Footwear can't be too far off for the same fake pricing. You will also notice nearly half of the store inventory is gone. It's anyone's guess as to why inventory is down 50% (this happened BEFORE COVID). You It's fair to assume distributors no longer wish to do business with Famous Footwear. That should speak volumes of the business practices Famous Footwear is involved in.

This place is really big! You walk in and are welcomed by rows upon rows of organized and brightly lit shoe options. Sneakers, boots, men's, women's and kid's! I had no idea they carried such a varied selection. I was surprised by the variety of stylish knee-high boots and the like they carried (nothing like the selection at DSW for boots though). And the pricing was reasonable, though I certainly didn't feel like I was getting anything for a deal or bargain hunting. My 6 year old son had quite a few rows of sneakers to peruse and make his choices from. They had his size in the majority of the styles, and there were signs saying you could order them if they didn't. And after him trying on a few pairs and making careful style analysis of each one we found a pair he liked and were on our way! I spent about 10%-15% more than I would ideally spend on a 6 year old's sneakers, but I wasn't willing to go to another store if they had a style he liked. And the brands (Nike, Sketchers, New Balance, Reebok, etc) are of high enough quality that I hope for the money they last until the next pair; which on a growing kid we all know won't be long. I also need to give a special service shout out to the teens that were working there. The young man's name was Antonio (I think), adorable red head, and he was straight out of a sales training manual! He introduced himself, offered his assistance then made himself scarce. He later wandered back to compliment my son on a pair of shoes he was trying on, and chatted a little before once again fading into the background. The young lady who checked us out was lovely as well. All in all, I will likely be back when I'm shoe shopping for casual shoes for the family, or maybe even for a pair of boots for me!

I want to specifically mention Gabby because she helped me every time I came in to try on and narrow down what shoes to buy (3-4 times). She was awesome--very attentive and knew so much about not just the shoes but foot support in general. I am not a runner by any means but I am on my feet all day for work, and I found the store to be very accommodating. Finally settled on two pairs that I can rotate around as my feet need more stability. I did get the $2 VIP membership on their website for a better shoe price and shipping cost. Really really happy with my experiences here.

This location is set off from the Park Meadows mall but parking can get busy if you want up front parking. My only complaint is the alteration service. The seamstress Nila is incredible and very talented. She's warm and friendly as well as efficient. I have confidence in her sewing skills. However, the pricing is confusing as well as not clearly displayed or explained. We took shirts to be tailored but some were $38 and others $78. It totaled over $600... A bit much for my usual needs. While they offer alterations for non Nordstrom items, the price is just a bit outrageous. Desiree, one of the managers, was kind and understanding in letting us cancel our order and the return process was stress free and quick. Overall, I still feel love for this location, the staff and the cute things I snag on each shopping spree. I'm a kid at heart and an irresponsible adult at the checkout counter here.

I was hoping to find boots. I found a pair at Park Meadows, but they weren't quite perfect. I did find a pair of loafers and a pair of booties at this store. The vibe here is weirdly depressing. I think that it's the yellowish lighting, maybe? Also, oddly, there was only ONE MK bootie--the left--in the box, and it had a security tag on it. I had to find an employee (possibly the manager?) to ask for the other shoe, since I can only wear a shoe on my right. She said to give her the left so she could swap them, then said, "Oh, never mind, it has a security tag." Very peculiar. Have never seen that in any other DSW, even on $400 Stuart Weitzmans. I ended up buying them. It would have been annoying to go and find her to retrieve the left shoe. Also, there aren't enough seats to try on shoes, nor mirrors. Park Meadows is much better equipped. The cashier was cheerful and friendly, so this visit ended on a happy note.

These were nice boatneck tees, which I like better than crew necks, so I bought some in white, black, navy, and pale pink. Very happy with them! Kohl's pricing is...interesting. Always check online, both on their site and others. There can be discrepancies. Also on shelf price vs register price. Check the receipt. The last time that I bought towels, they rang up at $23, but the shelf price was $19. They made the adjustment to honor the shelf price.

There were lots of deals listed around the store, so we started our search, only to find a chaotic mess. Once we rifled through the stock, we found one working dressing room area that had guys and girls and kids all changing in the same place. Weird and uncomfortable, as my son is a pretty massive football player and the ladies in the changing area looked terrified. We were able to find one of the items thankfully and at a good price, but couldn't ask for help with anything else as no one was around who actually worked there until we were done. Two employees showed up to the literal piles of clothing inside and outside the changing rooms. Looked like hours of work ahead for them. Certainly miss the Kohls of old and hard to recommend them these days!
