I was recommended to Anthony by my real estate agent. Anthony recently helped me fix some poor pipe connections under my kitchen and laundry room sinks. Both were leaking. Communication with Anthony was excellent. He was very professional, responsive, and punctual. I find that I really increasingly value and require these traits in anybody I work with on house-related services. He picked up the first time I called, responded promptly to text messages, and arrived within the time frame that he had estimated for our appointment. My home is in nearby San Gabriel. After he arrived and I showed him the various problems I needed help with, he went to his truck to check his supplies and then came back to verbally quote the cost for the work. I accepted it and then he got started. I estimate that he was here for about 2 to 2.5 hours, finishing at 7:30PM. When he was done, he took the time to write a thorough description of the work on an invoice, and I paid him by personal check. I'll definitely be using him again the next time I need help. read more

Anthony's True Blue Plumbing - Business card - Plumbing Near Me - Duarte, California

We were forced to relocate due to the Altadena fire. Upon arriving at my mother in laws home, we noticed a slow drain in the bathtub. Anthony immediately responded and found the problem was the stopper was partially closed, something I failed to check in all the chaos we experienced. He showed us the problem, checked to make sure it would drain properly, and he did not charge us. Truly a compassionate and honest plumber!! read more

Anthony (from True Blue Plumbing) is very responsive and stayed many hours to fix our problem (blocked main sewer line) on a Sunday. We had previously been given a quote from another plumbing company for $7,500 to replace our under-floor sewer line. After Anthony had assessed the situation, he was able to unblock the sewer line using a correctly sized snake (the other company used the wrong size snake and tried to unblock the sewer line from the wrong clean-out). When the line was clear, he performed a video inspection of the line and was able to determine that the under-floor sewer line was not in need of immediate replacement. His cost for these emergency services was very reasonable. In summary, Anthony is a very experienced plumber, his pricing is very fair, and he does an excellent job. He is our go-to plumber for life! Highly recommended! read more

We are new to the area and wanted to support local small business. We looked for the 5 star reviews, read the comments, and were sold when we came across Anthony's True Blue Plumbing. Having a 1950s home, we were a bit concerned about replacing a faucet due to the unforeseen conditions we may encounter. Anthony knew right away what he was dealing with, explained the entire process, what to expect if a) everything went as planned and the existing plumbing could handle the replacement and b) the existing plumbing would not hold up leading to opening Of walls, etc., etc. Luckily for us, he was able to replace the stub outs and faucet without a problem. The price for the work was reasonable so we will definitely go to Anthony for any further work we may need. read more

My second time using Anthony's True Blue plumbing. From the moment I called him I knew I was in good hands. He recommended what I needed to get done when I had a small leak under my home. He came out on a Thursday with plans and an estimate and Monday he stared the task of repiping my home. He and has his crew were done the next day. Minimal damage to the walls and exterior when I feared my flooring would have to be cut. He was kind, honest and efficient. Even pulled out an old unused and dead pipe I had in the back yard along with installing a shut off valve on my water heater and he even installed a new shower faucet to the master bath. Best prices and honest service is what you'll get when you go with True Blue plumbing. Thanks again, Anthony. You will ALWAYS be my plumber. read more

3rd job with True Blue. Great service at a reasonable price. He even exceeded my expectations by helping with some non-plumbing advise about my home. Will definitely use him for future plumbing projects. read more

I had a water heater go out on me and reached out to multiple contractors. I got a response relatively quickly from Anthony. He is the small business owner and knows what he's doing. It was maybe 16 hours from contact until the time it was replaced. He is a lifesaver! Thank you read more

We thanked Anthony profusely because he gave us peace of mind. He is a good problem solver. He is knowledgeable about what is the proper code (we care about that, codes exist for a reason) and helpful. He keeps his appointments, too. He gets work completed promptly. We refer him as much as we can because he really is good. read more

Anthony is fantastic! Personable and honest. He provided a general range of cost that could be possible over the phone and showed up on time. He completed the work and answered all my questions and provided more info than I asked. Once the work was completed he cleaned up provided the lowest cost of the range he provided and helped me move the fixture back into place. A great guy. Responsible and professional. read more

Yes, Anthony is as good as it gets. He takes the time to talk to you about his honest suggestions. Doesn't try to up sell you or take advantage of home owners. A month ago the pilot on my water heater malfunctioned and Anthony was out in "no time." He quickly repaired it and actually charged me less than what he quoted on the phone. Anthony was again called upon a second time and actually made time in his busy schedule to come over and help right away without charging me. It's time for a new water He suggested some quality brands that I will be looking into then will be contacting him again for installation. Glad to have him work my home. read more

Anthony's a Saint! A buddy of mine recommended Anthony's True Blue Plumbing saying not only how great the guy's work is, but how honest and reasonable he is on top of that. My friend was NOT kidding. While we have a new house with a home warranty, we were quoted a very high price to fix a diverter issue in the shower. I had started a claim with the home warranty company, which cost $85 for the service call fee. The contractor who came out from the assigned plumbing company took some pictures of the needed parts and told me it might be difficult to find the replacement parts. After over two weeks I finally heard back from the home warranty company telling me that some of the costs were NOT covered in our home warranty, and that the plumbing company told them the job would cost $1200. According to the plumbing company, this was due to them having to go through the vanity sink to get to the back of the shower wall. I'm thinking to myself, the home warranty company's picking up part of the cost, but it's still going to charge me $1200 for what they WON'T cover? I wanted a second opinion, took my buddy's advice & called Anthony's True Blue Plumbing. Guess what? Anthony fixed that shower diverter problem along with a toilet that had a few issues, for a grand total of--$265! Yep, you read correctly, $265. That's a huge savings of $935! Add to that the service call fee of $85 I had already paid, and I would have saved $1020. And remember, not only did Anthony repair the shower diverter issue, but he also fixed the toilet. And guess what--he did NOT have to tear through the vanity sink to do the job. He replaced the diverter cartridge & balancing spool right there at the front of the shower--NO going through the vanity sink & having to tear through the back of the shower wall. While I'm not going to give the name of the plumbing company with that grossly overpriced quote (in this review), I am going to notify the home warranty company of what I ended up paying for the repair--and how much I saved. They might like to be made aware of how much the plumbing company they're contracting the work to is charging. Anthony's True Blue Plumbing is the real deal. Anthony is very honest, dependable, does great work, and left no mess behind. Kudos to Anthony. Highly Recommended!!! read more

Excellent quick service, friendly and no bs. I'll be using Anthony for any future plumbing needs.

When a bear took out our sprinkler system, we couldn't fix it ourselves. I called Anthony on a Saturday who rushed over after he finished the home he was working on in the morning. He was prompt, knowledgable and gave us a very reasonable quote to fix the problem. He finished quickly, added extra levels of protection and reinforcement and didn't charge extra for a weekend call. I will definitely call him again for the next plumbing problem(hopefully not more bear damage) read more

Our garbage disposal was leaking. I found Anthony on the Nextdoor app, a lot of people in my area recommended him. I texted him yesterday to see when he could stop by and take a look. He texted me back to ask my availability and was able to come out the next day. He showed up took a look figured it out right away and fixed the problem. Something was loose, he said no big deal. Was in and out in less than 10 mins. Super nice! Thanks Anthony will be calling you when I redo my bathroom! read more

Anthony has been more than a plumber to our family, he is a friend and a person I can call or send a message whenever I have a plumbing issue. During last big rain in January, I called him telling him the roof of the room for water heater was leaking and the base of the heater was filled with water, so the ventilation for the heater was blocked. I had to turn off the heater that night and wait for Anthony. He replied to my message right away saying he would come the next day if the rain stopped. But unfortunately it rained even harder, I never would have thought Anthony would come with the rain pouring that afternoon. However, to my surprise and to my big joy, Anthony came to my house and fixed the roof and drained out all the water. We could enjoy hot water again within 16 hours.... thank you Anthony for your diligence and your professionalism. read more

Great service! When I had to fire my contractor I was left with a mess. Anthony came to the rescue at a reasonable price. He did all my finish plumbing. I have hired him to come back and do some small jobs too. Very happy! read more

I don't write many reviews, but Anthony was so honest and amazing. Another plumber took care of a small problem (water pressure), but when it came to the leaky showerhead, he made a big deal out of it and told me he had to break tiles to fix the problem and had to buy a new this and that. Sounded too expensive and I got suspicious. Thankfully, a co worker told me about Anthony. He quickly came in, took care of the problem without breaking any tiles or buying unnecessary things, and charged me a super fair price. Then, a couple of days later, I thought I heard strange sounds coming out of my pipes...he fit me in between appointments, thoroughly checked different parts of the house and water meter, said there was nothing wrong and didn't charge anything. I was ready to pay him, as others have charged for similar things, but he was just so kind and honest. Told all of my family members about him! read more

Anthony asks a lot of questions before coming out, in order to understand what is going on. He's very quick to respond. He shows up on time. I cannot say enough positive things about his professionalism and knowledge. Highly recommend! read more

I wanted to get a good local plumber and I was not disappointed. He was right on time and gave me a fair estimate after evaluating the situation. He was very knowledgeable and explained what was involved to get the job done properly. The pressure regulator, shut off valve and a couple of outdoor faucets were replaced. When the job was completed Anthony charged me less than the estimate since he didn't experience any difficulties. Would not hesitate recommending him to family and friends. read more

When you have someone working on your home you want them to be honest, capable, and thorough. That's why we go to Anthony at True Blue Plumbing. He is always quick to respond by phone, and even more conveniently by text message. He gives an honest assessment of the job and keeps to his cost and time estimates. Highly recommended! read more

Customer service and honesty means everything to me. I called at 7am although open hours on Yelp stated he wasn't open until 9am but I called anyways because we had a main sewer line block and toilet and tub wasn't draining. Surprisingly he answered and came over my house within minutes to access the situation. Anyone looking for a good reliable plumber I would call Anthony. read more

Fast friendly service at a good price. He cleans up after himself too. Thanks, Anthony!

I just had two waters heaters replaced in my home by Anthony Boldt, owner of Anthony's True Blue Plumbing. I'm very pleased with the work and the manner in which it was performed. For that, I am recommending him to neighbors, friends and family in the SGV. For starters, Anthony honored the quote he gave me over the phone. (When I initially contacted him, I provided a brief description of what was a basic installation for one of the units.) Of the estimates I obtained, his was the fairest and most comprehensive. Anthony called prior to the appointment time to alert me that he was on his way and would be arriving on time. He wore disposable booties over his work shoes before entering the house. He was professional, friendly, very knowledgeable and has solid experience. On both installs, he took the time to explain a few options along with the pros and cons for each. He made good recommendations without attempting to "up-sell" to extra work. I like the fact that he's local; right here in Duarte. When the work was done, Anthony hauled away the old water heaters. Nothing to clean up whatsoever! As an aside, the brand of water heaters I ordered were a Bradford & White and an American Water Heaters. Parts (and even company reps) for both are available locally, unlike the units sold at Lowe's or Home Depot. read more

Anthony's has been here several times now for various jobs. He has replaced our pressure regulator, installed a new toilet and most recently installed a new tankless water heater. I am a very anal and particular customer expecting only the best level of work. Anthony is the best!! He was on time, his knowledge far exceeds other plumbers Ive had to deal with. I would and will recommend him strongly to anyone needing any type of plumbing work. read more

I have used Anthony many times over the past 4 years or so. He always arrives when he says he will be there, checks out the issue, gives me an estimate and lets me know if he can fix it right away or will need to come back to do the job. I have been very satisfied with his prices and service. I trust him and will not hesitate to recommend him to family and friends. read more

I managed to get Anthony's name from my next door neighbor who uses him for all their plumbing needs as our water heater had gone out on us. I called and left Anthony message and he contacted within the hour. He was currently on a job but was able to work me in around noon. He checked over the water heater and pointed out areas, which I had noticed earlier, where it appeared to be leaking and made several attempts to relight it only it wouldn't stay lit. He called his supplier and was able to a get an AO Smith water header delivered to my home around 4 p.m. He installed shortly afterwards and all while having to do it in the pouring rain. I wouldn't hesitate to call Anthony again for all my plumbing needs. read more

Anthony just left my house to repair a toilet and was very professional. He did his best to assess the problem over the phone (although I understand this is difficult) and was up front with costs. His response time was excellent, time fixing the problem was quick, and the cost was within the range quoted. He was friendly, personable, and patient with all my questions. I would highly recommend this company and will certainly be using them for my plumbing needs. read more

We've called Anthony several times once for a leaking faucet, once for a kitchen sink plug and just recently to replace our leaking water heater. He was able to get the job done quickly and charged us much less than a larger company would. He is an honest man who knows what he is doing - you can't get better than that. read more

Ultimate Professional! Anthony was clean, quick, fairly priced, communicated and was willing to walk us through the process of our remodel slowly. Cannot find a better person, that I hope I don't have to see anytime soon. Thanks Anthony! read more

Anthony's True Blue Plumbing provides outstanding professional service at a very fair price. Mr. Anthony Boldt came to my rescue on Christmas Eve afternoon 2015 so that I could have the correct valve for the installation of a new gas stove in time for Christmas dinner. I was a new customer at that time and he had been recommended to me by a friend of my sister's. I have since had him come back for other jobs as I appreciate his honesty and thorough knowledge. He installed a recycler for me, which, as it turned out, had a defective part. He not only replaced the entire unit, but had the vendor's representative come to my house to assess the situation at no charge. He also honored a price estimate he gave me, even though the item had increased in price & I offered to pay the difference (he declined my offer!). To find such super service providers is increasingly difficult these days. I highly recommend Mr. Boldt, although I run the risk of his becoming too busy!! read more
