We had a large catering order. I had never been to Anthony's, but they came highly recommended by a friend. We were not disappointed! My favorites were the Greek salad and ravioli florentine. I was very impressed with Anthony's delivery service and how they thought of everything. They arrived 10 minutes early, unloaded for us, and gave us more than enough serving utensils. My wife and I stopped in for the first time today to check it out. We ordered a couple of slices to go for lunch and headed to our car to eat as we were running errands, We were blown away! The pizza was amazing! We have been looking for a pizza place ever since we moved to Florida 2.5 years ago with no real luck. This is one of the best pizzas I ever had. Pizza was ok, the middle was soggy and the crust is too hard. The wings are good. But there was a miscommunication about how it was ordered. we wanted the Bronx Pizza with veggies on one side only. We wanted the meat to stay on the whole pizza but veggies only on one side. But they thought we meant literally only veggies on one side. In hindsight, I understand how it can be misunderstood, but when we called to say the order was wrong, they argued with and said we were wrong and the only resolution was to charge us for a replacement. Trying to support local business during Covid-19, we have ordered from Anthony's several times. It was fabulous the first couple of times. By the third order, the stromboli was burned. We gave them a couple more tries, and last time the stomboli was burned again. Tonight we order a pizza with pepperoni, tomatoes, garlic and mushroom. When my husband opened the box, he said, "did you order pepperoni on this thing?" On the first pieces, we found there was practically none at all. My piece was mostly cheese and tomato sauce. My husband had a huge slice with only ONE slice of pepperoni as well. We called to complain and were patched through to someone who must have been the shift manager. I told him about our order and he offered 'free pepperoni on our next order'. I was a bit taken back as I think he should have offered more. I told him we had gotten several orders that were burned. He seemed unconcerned and repeated the offer for free pepperoni on our next order. I said, "so it will be for a large pizza, right?" his response was, "it's all the same".... So NO WONDER our large pizza had no pepperoni!!!! Even though you pay per item for a build your own pizza, you get the same amount!!! I told him nevermind. I would like to give a better review because the pizza was not bad, however toward the end of our meal my daughter came in to sit with us and we were asked to leave. We were told the owner doesn't allow any outside food brought in. It was our first visit and she is GF and at the time we didn't know they had a GF option. I am temporarily (4 weeks) residing in Palm Coast while renovating a property so... I turned to yelp to help facilitate me in finding some decent Italian food... Hmmm..... why on earth anybody would give this place good reviews, I do not know. I ordered a simple baked ziti to go... I knew when I smelled the cheese in the car that it was going to be cheap mozzarella and it is. I have never had Italian food that had no flavor in it. There is no sauce and I'm not sure what brand of pasta they use but this is the least flavorful Italian meal I've ever had my life. Needless to say I took one bite and threw the entire thing out. Ordered food for an Open House I recently held and not only was I impressed but all the agents that came through loved the food. I had ordered a half tray of eggplant parm, chicken parm, and baked ziti. To say the eggplant was good is an understatement. Disappointed in the Stromboli. The dough inside was not cooked. Called back to the restaurant, and they did agree to deliver another in exchange for the original. Although we agreed, it was over an hour later...so the rest of the food was cold and we found something else to eat other than the stromboli. The 2 pizzas I ordered were good but the Spinach Calzone did not meet my expectations. The spinach was not precooked (skillet Sautéed). When you cut into the calzone the leaves of spinach looked and taste like a salad. My advice to chef is to sauté then fill in calzone. read more

Super disappointed in them. My friend ordered medium Alfredo sauce pizza with pineapple topping to take out and she didn't look in the box which she learned her lesson. When she arrived my place and we opened the box, what we see is overloaded of cheese, we knew it was unbalanced. This is a nice little Italian place. Don't let the somewhat plain look of the place deter you. The house salad is nicely presented, with some finely cut onions, a nice little pile of olive s and sliced good tomatoes. Served on a nice plate with a sprinkle of cheese. I went for classic spaghetti and meatballs. Nice sensible portion. Good meatballs, decent sauce. My friend had veal parmesan. That was a large portion and he said it was good. One downside, the wine is awful. Why can't these small places just stock a simple cheap wine? There are plenty to choose from. And no Chianti? Come on! Overall very nice for what it is. read more

WAY overcook!!! Regretting giving them a try. Ordered the Bronx; sausage, peppers, onions, and mushrooms. The thickness was inconsistent, making the middle too thin and soggy and the outer edge was very hard and way too thick. Let's start out by saying we have been a customer for a long time. Every so often the pizza would be ehhh not so great, but this started happening more often. Sometimes it seems as if they re-heated old pizza made for the store and sent it out as fresh. Sometimes the dough is stale and tasted off, sometimes the pizza was overcooked to the point of almost breaking your teeth on the crust. But today finally did it. We keep giving them a pass too many times. When they first opened I guess the owner made the pizza(so I was told) now it seems, that is not the case. Tonight our pizza came severely overcooked. Crust like cardboard, on the bottom and the edge (you could break a tooth hard). Dripping with grease(some it great...not this though). This time we did call and they offered to redo it or credit us. We will not use the credit, I don't think we want to chance it anymore. So sad, cause they used to be so good. read more

The pizza was DELICIOUS and the service was great! We got the medium Italiano, a Medium Cheese with Black Olives and Mishrooms, and the kids got slices of Cheese and Pepperoni. The crust was perfectly crisp, the mushrooms were fresh and the meats and cheese on the specialty were perfect. It is a small place so I imagine it could get fully pretty easily a peak time but we went at 8pm on a Thursday night with 8 of us and we're able to sit right down. read more

We ordered several items for carry out. One pasta dish included Alfredo sauce. Unfortunately, the sauce was spoiled and should never have been sold. It caused my teenage son to become ill after only a bite. I then tried it and immediately spit it out. It was spoiled to the point of causing immediate nausea. Although the store offered a credit for a future order and promised to notify the kitchen immediately, their response was underwhelming. Got the calamari as an appetizer and was pretty surprised at how small the size of the portion was. Even more surprising was the complete lack of flavor. It was like eating a piece of rubber without flavor. I'd give the calamari 1 out of 5 stars. As for the pizza, ordered the Bronx and was pleasantly surprised with the crispy thin crust. Long story short, my husband and I had a HUGE fight before leaving for work. I was so upset and wanted a way to reach out to my husband so we could make up. His favorite food in the world is pizza. I contacted Anthony's and arranged for a pizza to be delivered to his job with I LOVE YOU written on the top of the box. I was still teary eyed and she was very understanding. The original owner of Anthony's pizza would not be pleased with what I have seen and tasted today. #1 calamari this is the first place that I have ever tried this dish. It was so good I had to ask the chef what was his secret. Fresh made and milk. My daughter is picky but loved his version of calamari. Today's her birthday so haven't been there in a while.
