My wife and I drive expedited freight and I've been all over the country and up and down the east coast and eating pizza at what is considered to be some of the best pizza places in the country. Well, I would not rate Manny's up there with New Haven wood fired char grilled, grilled crust pizza(possibly an acquired taste), I would give it a good solid seven out of 10 rating... when you add the amazing Customer Service and the nicely diverse menu with lots of Italian specialties and Service with a smile you gotta give them a couple extra points! Good toppings, good crust good sauce good service. Good golly what more could you ask for? Buy some damn pizza from these people would you! We ordered the Manny's house special pizza as takeout. It did taste good but it was so light that it didn't feel like it was worth the $26 I paid for it. The staff seemed friendly, and the ambiance was good. I might try the gyro in the future. read more

Well, i went to Manny's today with my adult son due to recommendations of Facebook friends. We didn't order pizza. We ordered dinners instead for dine in. I ordered the eggplant Parmesan and my son ordered chicken Parmesan. The servings were very skimpy. There was only a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese on top of both dinners. I even said something to the owner who served our meals. He offered to put my dinner back in the oven with more mozzarella. i took him up on that offer. Even then, it came back out with only a drop more. Not like most other pizzerias like Mezzaluna or Joe's NY. I was only given ONE slice of eggplant. Granted, it was the center cut but still, only one slice? The plates also only had a few strains of spaghetti on both meals. The dinners came with salad which was a bowl shredded iceberg lettuce. That's odd since that cut of lettuce is used for subs not salads. The garlic knots were good. My son hated the sauce on his dinner. I thought it was good but spicy. I paid $20.50 for my one slice of eggplant dinner and $18.50 for my son's 2 small piece of chicken parm dinner. He said the chicken was tender, though. I feel badly for the owner knowing he needs to cut corners to make rent but there wasn't enough food on the plate to warrant those high prices. For that reason, i just can't recommend Manny's pizzeria. read more

It's been a couple of months since I've been there due to work, and nothing has changed. Still, everyone that works is family, and yes, know me by my name (Opie). Pizza is still excellent, just like NJ/NY. Tonight I decided to go with the Lasagna and not only is everything fresh and homemade , you can taste the love in the way it was made. Had some friends with me that tried 2 Calzones, 1 Baked Ziti, and the 4th person had Lasagna like me any everyone else raved about their meals, so it's not just me speaking highly about this Restaurant, you've gotta try their Garlic Knots as well, same concept, fresh dough and bake to perfection. They are closed on Sundays, and eventhough it's a small establishment, they have inside/outside seating. You really gotta try this place, can't go wrong. read more

5 Stars for a random find off of I-95 that isn't a chain! It was late, I needed gas on my way to Jacksonville, and hunger was striking my body. Normally this is where I'd be forced to eat something mediocre from a big fast food chain, but I saw a sign for Manny's (in the same plaza as a chain pizza place), and Yelped it. Impressed by the 5 star average, we gave it a go! The sign isn't very obvious, so when you're looking at the Winn Dixie, just look a few stores to the right and you'll see the neon pizza and an Open sign. First thing you notice when you enter is the ambiance. It's December, so it was particularly festive, with a Christmas tree all trimmed up and a warm interior that felt really cozy. We ordered the large Margherita pizza to share and a Greek Salad with no onions. The salad came first and was full of the thin slices of meat promised in the description and plenty of feta cheese. It was pleasant with the traditional oil and vinegar dressing. Next came the pizza. It sure was large! But it really hit the spot so we almost finished it. This pizza has an authentically crunch crust and the crust under the toppings is thin, but cooked enough not to be soggy at all. The toppings were perfect. Not overwhelming with cheese, and including fresh basil leaves and tomato. This was really good, authentic pizza and we couldn't stop commenting on how great we felt versus if we had gone to the big pizza chain and stuffed our faces with something greasy and filled with preservatives. Everything here tasted fresh and homemade. And lastly, given that this was also a pit stop, I was happy to see that the bathrooms were very clean. You can't ask for anything more! read more

The best of the best family & food! My husband & I were flood out during Hurricane Ian. We took a room at a hotel up in Palm Coast until our house can be rebuild. The best thing that happened to us was finding this wonderful place called Manny's Pizzeria! We tried everything and it's all excellent! From the great pizza, to Mama's awesome eggplant dishes!!! Rain was heavy so we decided to order pizza rather than to go out. Manny's had high yelp ratings so we decided to give them a go. It was worth every minute of the 40 minute wait for delivery. Every. Single. Minute. Worth. It. To call it NY-style is an insult. To say that it was teleported from downtown Brooklyn into Coastal Florida is more like it. Slices were foldable. Crust was thin, crispy, and had that signature perfect near-burnt flavor. The toppings were on point. And, thanks be to God, there was no sopping pool of grease atop the pie. No grease was pouring through the take-out box either. I told the delivery guy that we chose Manny's because of yelp ratings. He remarked, "You won't be disappointed." He was right. When we are in the area again, Manny's will be on the top of our list. Maybe it might be on the top of yours, too, if you'll give them a go. read more

This place is much more than a pizzeria. We recently visited for the first time and had excellent chicken parm, eggplant parm and garlic rolls. The house wine was also good (and modestly priced). A nearby table ordered the house specialty pizza and it looked so good we ordered one to go. It was excellent, even after a week in the freezer and reheating. The service was very friendly and attentive, and it was a pleasure to meet Manny himself behind the counter making those delicious pizzas. Great place. We plan to visit on a regular basis. read more

Manny's pizza is so good it's not fair to other pizza. Holy macaroni this place is good. I have been here twice and I live don't even live here... the first time we stumbled across Manny's was a few months ago on a trip to St. Augustine. I followed my fellow yelper's advice and stopped in. We had the garlic bread to start. Fresh, toasty, hot goodness on a plate with some of the best marinara sauce I've ever had. We ordered the same thing today (driving up to Amelia Island) and it came to us in the form of garlic knots. A different dish but once again I was blown away. It was light and fresh out of the oven. We had a plain cheese pizza. From the crust to the sauce to the cheese, it's just all good. It's small, there's no fancy sign outside (just says Pizza) and it's in a shopping center but inside is a clean, charming little pizza shop that just may blow your expectations out of the water. I hope Manny's will be open on our next trip up. We will definitely stop in. read more
