Apparently reservations are recommended I know they asked us and everyone else who entered even though it was early afternoon on a Wednesday. We were seated in the dining room just off the lobby, yes very nostalgic, the dim lights and cloth covered tables takes you far far away from this beach town even though the ocean is washing over the beautiful sand just across the street. Our server Chloe was exceptional from the moment we were seated and throughout our dinner service. The menu is pages long so unless you've been here before and have a favorite it's a little overwhelming but we got through it and Chloe was patient as we ordered single items until we decided on our entree's. Appetizer - The baked clams, made to order, so there is a wait but there is also crusty Italian bread and oil for dipping while you wait and they are definitely worth the wait. Soup or Salad - comes with the meal so we chose one of each - the spinach soup is heavenly with it's velvety texture and served hot (nothing here arrives lukewarm) the salad is traditional but the balsamic dressing is magical I wanted both so we shared. We picked the lobster ravioli and chicken piccata for the main courses and that's when we agreed this is probably the best restaurant in town, the food was amazing as was the service. Everything here earns a bookmark and a return visit, there are so many things I wanted to try - nice portions and great prices makes this a must try if you're looking for that special place in this little beach town...

He then took our order, I ordered chicken parmigiana with linguine pasta. My husband ordered eggplant parmigiana with penne pasta. We really don't like when servers don't write down, punch in orders, which didn't happen today either. Our server brought out our plates, they looked good but my husband ordered penne pasta and received linguine. My food was ok, not better or worse than any other Italian restaurant we have gone to. I make my own paste from scratch and you definitely can tell this pasta is not made from scratch. The atmosphere was nice, put on music that wasn't too loud, but honestly happy we went but not sure anything is pulling us back to go again.

We found Faro thanks to a local recommendation from our hotel…read more Upon entering we found ourselves in a quaint, beautiful small Mediterranean-inspired cafe facing the Atlantic Ocean over A1A. The staff were super professional yet casual and made the pacing of our lunch perfect. We had bruschetta to start and a prosecco-based coco , the Hugo. Their menu is well-considered with options for lighter meals to feasts. Their appetizers all invoked beautiful summer vibes. Also their panini options are authentic. Their 20 inch pizza peel is iconic and although I didn't order, the mere sight of another table's order haunts me already. We could not resist our urges and each ordered lasagna. My wife had the eggplant parmigiana lasagna As she is of Italian descent she always craves eggplant and this twist called to her. I ordered the ragu lasagna. The drinks and appetizer were perfectly portioned and served. We relaxed and enjoyed the conversation and views. Our lasagnas arrived just as we were literally licking the excess olive oil from our bruschetta with admiration. Again the portions were spot on, the temp perfect and presentation were beyond our expectations. First we each tasted our sauces then the other. The ragu was deep with beef flavor and had excellent velvety texture. The eggplant parmigiana sauce was bright like fresh tomatoes tenderly handled. The difference was remarkable, complex and in both cases superb. My wife and I feel this Faro is one of the best gems in Florida.

I have to be honest, we were trying to get into a restaurant down the street and when we got there,…read morethere was an hour long wait and we decided not to eat there. It was clearly a hotspot that everybody loved. So we started wandering down the street and just came up upon this place. Now, I live my life by the phrase "sex is like Pizza, even if it's bad it's still pretty good." But I have to say this pizza was delicious. It far exceed my expectations. It was a thick crust and locally sourced ingredients. It was fresh, the sauce had a great flavor. They even had things like dipping sauces like a hot honey sauce, which was fantastic. One of my daughters had a shrimp Caesar salad salad that she said was amazing. (warning: it's raw shrimp, not grilled or anything which is fantastic, but just so you know). My other daughter had lasagna and she said it was delicious. I had the pepperoni pizza and my wife had the ham and cheese pizza. With some crushed red pepper and hot honey sauce I ate every bit of it. Also, they had delirium beer, which helped wash it down perfectly. Five stars? I give it six or seven if I could. I'll be back soon. Anytime we come to this area. I will definitely be here. You may have to map it to this place though, there's no signage outside, but you could see the glow of the blue light logo on the inside. Don't miss it.

I ordered the Irish Benedicte with hash that is homemade on premise with slow roasted corned beef. Very tasty.
