Wrong business hours.
Elyssa D.

I showed up early and waited around for a bit. Really hoping to get a nice slice of pizza but unfortunately, as other reviews have also stated they are not open when their hours say they are. There were a few other people waiting as well, and we were all super disappointed. I'm going to try again at some point because their pizza does look super delicious but it's really upsetting when businesses are not open during posted hours and there is no other notification flash sign posted saying that they will not be available. Big bummer .

Half Pepperoni and half Chicken Bacon Ranch

I was in the mood for NY style pizza without having to go into Austin to Home Slice or a similar type of pizza joint. I was pleasantly surprised when I found Anthony's Pizza here in Hutto. I had some friends coming and was excited to give them a try. I ordered a half Pepperoni and half Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza pie along with garlic knots. The chicken bacon ranch was a hit with my friends who've never had it. I'm from Brooklyn and that's a standard topping selection at various pizzerias out there . I also liked the bacon chicken ranch highly recommend this topping from here. The pepperoni half wasn't all that however. I'll have to see if the sauce was just off but I was disappointed it. The garlic knots was good I would come back here again especially for the chicken bacon ranch pizza! The owner was there nice guy and good customer service he's also a real NYer from Queens.

Omgosh ya'll!! The new owners Emmanuel and Marianna are so nice! I have been wanting to find true authentic pizza here, and their pizzas are so good! (They are also from Sicily!)

Prices as of July 2023

Their pizza is tasty and the guy at the counter was very kind and attentive. I was told 5:20 for pickup but when I arrived he said it would be 8 more minutes. I think it's because I order my pizza "well done", meaning I like a little more bite to my crust. No big deal on the wait. What was a nice touch was that he offered if I wanted to wait in my car he would bring it to me- I thought that was pretty cool. The prices are a little high but the pizza is HUGE and done right. Give them a try! I did call and no one picked up but I called again and they picked up. So if you don't get an answer on the first ring just wait a couple minutes and call back. It's a small pizza shop and from what I could tell the guy was working solo so I'm sure it gets busy very quickly trying to run front of house and also have pizzas out and fresh for everyone.

Sicilian slice... amazing!

Oh my gosh, SO GOOD!! Under new management, this place has DEFINITELY had a glow up. Owners are super friendly and knowledgeable- and the pizza is ridiculously good! My husband and I shared the lunch special- super reasonably priced - 2 slices and a soda, and we also got a piece of the fresh out of the oven Sicilian pizza because we couldn't resist. Everything was so good! Actually, so good that I ate most of it before I remembered that I wanted to take a picture for the review We will be regulars here for SURE!

Sicilian pizza , bacon slice

New ownership and the place is AMAZING! The inside of the restaurant is so cute. The owners are FROM Italy so you can taste the authenticity in the food. It was my first time here so I had a little bit of everything on the menu. Prices are very good- good food, good prices! Coming from a New Yorker, the food is 10/10!! Brings me back home:) the owners are so sweet as well.

Great pizza

Well it has been a few months since my last visit here. I wish we lived closer because they make a great slice. If you want a no frills place with Great Pizza this is the spot. I went today after watching my granddaughters baseball game and I can't stop thinking about how good it was today. Got to make a point to visit more often.

We found real NY pizza, and I'm hooked. If you been in Hutto for more than 17 years like myself you can truly appreciate really good food. It's absolutely delicious, this restaurant is Hidden in strip center of the Commons in Hutto, Anthony's pizza is what I call "a taste of great food away from home." This small-town, locally owned and operated joint will satisfy your taste buds for sure! The owner himself indeed makes everything from scratch from the sauces to the dough! Giving the cooking this authentic NY pizza flavor! I highly recommend visiting, it's a great family restaurant. Oh! Bonus fun, they have few arcade games for the young kids.

I've lived in Texas for 4 years now and this is the best pizza I've had. As "New York Style" as it gets without being in NYC.

I feel like this review has to come now before it never has a chance to exist again. I'm always…read moreheartbroken to find out a place is closing its doors, especially a local business. Earlier this week, East Street Pizzeria announced on social media that they were closing up shop permanently. I feel at times guilty for things like this when I'm not the root cause. If only I came back more, they would've survived, but I probably would've just been more devastated at their closure. Hutto has a lot of pizza establishments. From the chains like Pizza Hut and Domino's to lesser-known locations like Mr. Gatti's and Double Dave's, as well as the locals Bella Sicilia and East Street, there are nine pizza establishments in the city limits and three in the ETJ. For a city with only one grocery store (also in the ETJ), it's a lot of competition. All of the chains are carry-out only and operate in a shotgun house sized unit in a strip. The only places you can actually eat a pizza are MOD and the two local establishments. East Street shows something that is plaguing Hutto: the overreliance on chain restaurants. Chains don't care if you skip them for a local place. A local place needs your business or they might shutter their doors forever. East Street itself is difficult real estate with the rent reportedly being high, meaning these small establishments have to operate at a high enough margin to survive in such a beautiful area. That's why so many businesses are opting for the Affordable Storage shopping area in the ETJ, because the barrier to entry is lower and actually allows them to survive. It's sad to see. I only ate at East Street Pizzeria once. When I was visiting Hutto before moving, I thought about going and trying their pizza (I love a local place), but it was completely empty, so I opted for another local place. A few months into living in Hutto, I went back with a co-worker during lunch. I got my slice and a salad, and I was impressed. It was your standard local affair (good local pizza is better than any chain), and the slice was cheesy and well done. I enjoyed it quite a bit. The owner was super attentive to us, and it was a quick and easy meal. I wanted to go back, but I never did. That's my fault. I haven't supported any chain pizza joints in Hutto, but I'm an outlier. If 12 (now 11) pizza establishments can exist in the Hutto area, maybe the consumer preference is out of whack. Support local, because local will always support you. RIP East Street Pizzeria. RIYL: Grieving since you can't actually go here.

I will come back for the pizza and wings but please work on the ranch recipe! Texans like to dip pizza in ranch. Its important:) We did try a dessert one of the times we visited and it took quite a long time to come out and was frozen so I think they are on to something here with the main food but the extras are a little lacking. The restaurant is in an old historic building so it has some warm vibes and was set up cute for Christmas!

When you walk in you can scan the QR code and order from the table. Or they will bring you a menu to your table. Then once you have figured out what you want, you then will walk up to the register to order. Personally, I ordered the old fashioned way. Next time I come I will order the new way with the QR code. The pizza here is really fresh and delicious. It's definitely not your average pizza from the competitors. I don't even believe that they can match the quality of the pizza here. My first observation was the crust and how it wasn't greasy. It was smooth and freshly hot from the oven. All the ingredients were fresh and quite honestly I didn't feel bloated after eating. I also had a house salad with ranch prior and it was delicious as well. There are no fountain drinks available here. So if you need an extra drink I would recommend ordering extra drinks. They also don't have ice or cups available so it is best to wait for your drinks when your food is ready. Overall, I am really impressed with the delicious pizza and the prompt service they provided with just two people. They seemed very happy to provide everyone with equal service whether in person or if were picking up an online order. I highly recommend trying this place out if you are reading my review.

It's like a traditional pie but where you usually get a Margherita on a thin dough with no crust on the edge- this one has it a thicker crust! Dropped in to kill some time and grab a bite to eat... and left super impressed yet again! The vibe here is perfectly laid-back....chill atmosphere, no pretension, just a spot to relax with great drinks and food. Shoutout to the beer master Eric behind the bar! He's incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what he pours. He shared this awesome line that stuck with me: "Every good beer has a story, and the story should be told!" Made the whole experience feel more personal. I went with tap #13, Juicy Fish--a hazy IPA from WeldWerks Brewing Co. at 8.6% ABV. Wow, what a juicy, flavorful beast! Packed with tropical hops, smooth, and dangerously easy to drink for that ABV. Definitely hit the spot. For food, I had 5 wings tossed in the Blazin Ghost Pepper sauce. It's described as a smoky blend with mild ghost pepper heat, and it delivered exactly that....great smokiness upfront, building warmth without incinerating your mouth (perfect if you like heat but not torture level). Wings were crispy, juicy, and tender too. Rounded it out with the Carnivore pizza, loaded with meats and just the right amount of char on the crust. Hand stretched and fresh, it paired really well with the beer. If you're in the Pflugerville area and love craft beer (especially with knowledgeable staff who actually talk about it), wings, or pizza, this place is a winner.
