The toppings were fresh from the meaty beef, the snap of the banana peppers, the request I had for olives on 1 side, the onions, Alfredo sauce, and I almost debate this location added extra cheese which was really nice. My wife ordered pizza and brownies for dinner. Upon arriving home I opened the pizza box. To my amazement there was a baby roach crawling airing inside the box of pizza. I killed it and showed my wife. For me personally I just went back to warm up my spices off pizza. Again in utter astonishment there were three more baby ghetto roaches. At which time my wife threw the pizza outside on the trash. I then contacted the store manager at 143 exchange Blvd. Upon notifying the manager of said incident she said that it couldn't have been from her store cause they go through all the boxes on a daily basis. I told her that we do not have roaches in our house or ever have. She then stated that it was probably my wife's vehicle or somewhere on our end. And offered $11.99 credit for the price of the pizza. Tax not included, but we paid taxes upon purchase. The audacity she had to make the assumption that it was my wife's vehicle or house was preposterous and disrespectful. We were to say the least offended and will never order from this location again. And I strongly encourage anyone who orders from this location to check all the boxes your food odd inside of. Hubby and I wanted to get a pizza from a "throwback" pizza place in Hutto and due to the reviews of delivery and ordering online on this platform we decided to go into the store to order and we had a good experience! There was 2 younger girls in there working their butts off and were very friendly and helpful. They got our order in right away and we only had to wait 10-15 minutes before we had a fresh and hot pizza. It was perfectly cooked and had a generous amount of toppings. No complaints about taste or quality. It was super hot in the building due to the ovens and the early July TX temps. I hope they upped the air for the employees. The pizzas are average size, but more expensive than other options in the area so it won't be a regular spot for us. read more

Four stars for dinner tonight! I received a promo via email and my mom has been craving pan pizza from Pizza Hut so I thought it was good timing. This was my first take out food for the New Year. I placed an order for carry out via online. It was quick and simple. Added some wings since I haven't tried the WingStreet wings. The order was scheduled to be ready in 15minutes. I arrived a few minutes early and my order was already done. When I walked in it was quiet. Everyone in there was busy. Somebody came out to greet me and I paid for my order. They showed me each item to be sure I looked at everything and that it was correct. I noticed they place orders in a warmer until pick up. That's a great idea! I'm used to another chain just placing them on a shelf/rack. My mom enjoyed her pan pizza. I was ready to try the wings. The garlic Parmesan wings were better than expected. It's not a dry rub. It's a wet sauce. Tasty. The buffalo burnin hot wings were spicy and had good flavor. Sorry for the lack of pics as we devoured everything. Pizza Hut now offers a rewards program where you earn points towards free breadsticks or pizza. You earn 2 points for every $1 you spend. Not sure why this location has gotten so few stars. I've been coming here for a couple years now and have ordered several different types of pizzas as well as the pasta and it's always consistent. Pizza hut isn't a five-star restaurant so I don't understand what to expectation would be. Maybe it's the delivery. I always pick my orders up since I live close and I'm frugal when possible. The in-store service is always good. The cashiers are always polite, usually younger folks. And I'm always in and out within 5 minutes. The one time I did have a problem with my order they fixed it immediately with no issues. For being exactly what I expect from Pizza Hut, I recommend. Not to mention a free pizza every few orders. By far continuously the worse place to in Hutto to order from or deal with. We ordered online at 8:20, at 10:05 got a message that the order had been "modified or cancelled".  I had been calling since their delivery time said 30-40 mins but nobody ever picked up. We did receive multiple text saying DoorDash was going to deliver at 10:10. Not to mention from reviews online the stores don't give the door dash the tip you provided. I usually love Pizza Hut, especially their stuffed crust, but this location suprised me in a bad way. I walked into facility that was short staffed with a pair of grumpy employees that wore their emotions on their sleeve. I paid for my pizza and was able to make light conversation with the grumpy cashier, so hopefully I left him in a slightly better mood than I found him. When I got home, I found the MOST pathetic pie that I have ever bought. There was almost NO cheese on it, and it just looked sad. I'll be sticking with Domino's from now on. I don't like to complain much, but new to Hutto & second time ordering from this Pizza Hut, I placed my order through the app but then after check said it was a 2hr delivery, so I figured they were busy & called asked them how long for pick up which turned to be only 30mins, that's not issue for me as I understand things happen & sometimes you become short staffed. But what was disappointing was that I came home with my 2 stuffed crust pizzas & cheese bread & opened up the cheese pizza and literally there was a huge hole as if most of 2 slices of pizza were completely gone & to know that an employee sliced it & boxed it like that was pretty disappointing & the other pizza someone sliced it up sooo much half the pizza was tiny slices the other large & then I had to cut up the cheese bread myself. I called & the lady who answered said she would let a manager know & they would refund me for that pizza but wouldn't be until later because they were busy. This location is always getting my orders wrong, not filling the orders, and never a single word of apology when they screw up.

Not sure why this location has a low rating, must be irrational folks. Of course all businesses have off days or even weeks. We are human and its just food. But I have never ever had a problem in all the time they have been here since day one. I met the current mgr, Grady, who was extremly nice and had plenty common since. This was THE worst pizza experience ever, BUT for what it's worth, manager Felix tried very hard & for that, the owner of this store needs to commend him and get his store in order. First & foremost. Train (which always happens on 79, cool) weather is apparently bad in Hutto, ok I get that. Again, took forever to get a person on the line, and had to deal w the girl again first. Felix let's me know what's up & it'd be here any minute. 9:32 the delivery driver can't find our house. He's on our street. I give him a variety if descriptions, go outside & wait. 2, 3 mins later he rolls up fr essentially the wrong way. He's clueless, but this has nothing to do with him. Backtrack. I gave "girl" my address 743 times, got it wrong, but Felix confirmed it correctly and yet it goes in wrong. Poor dude!! Now were @ 22ish mins late. I ask him what they do in a situation where it's pushing 30 mins late. He says he doesn't know & wants to call his manager. 77 minutes later, Felix is back on the phone. I said, "SEE!! You can't get thru to them for nothin!!"-- SO. Felix totally voided the whole transaction. I offered 1/2, but was VERY happy with his trying to right this. I gave Eric his $5 tip and that was that. He apologized, was a cool kid. Thanked him & that was that. Pix do the rest. Do I like their pizza? NO! Do they need better processes? YES Was Felix helpful? Saved the damn day! Was the driver cool? Ordered pizza last night for my family of 5. First of all we are in a new neighborhood that doesn't pick up on google maps but does on Apple maps. I made that note when I ordered which was pointless because the driver called me and started screaming at me that my address was wrong and that it wouldn't pick up on the gps. I kept asking him if he was using google maps or Apple maps in between his screams and finally got an answer, he was using google maps. If you would've read all the notes in the order then that could've been bypassed and I wouldn't have been yelled at by a pizza delivery guy. Fast forward, my family has since gotten food poisoning from eating the pizza. Called and spoke to Jeremy who did not seem to care and all he could say is he follows food safety protocol. Being in the food industry for many years myself I get it. But sometimes something goes wrong. If the food was in good date and everything was handled on the cooking side properly then (I'd hate to say it or think it) but maybe the irate driver tampered with our food. I'm 8 months pregnant. Food poisoning is not ideal. Anyways Jeremy didn't offer any kind of compensation. Instead I asked for it because the overall experience was horrendous and I will never order from Pizza Hut, especially this one, ever again. In order to get compensation I must drive myself over to the store and present a receipt. Yea let me get right on that once I get myself and my 2 year old out of the bathroom for more than 30 min. Placed an order for pick up tonight through the app. Was told 15-20 minuets until my order was ready. Walked in at exactly 20 minuets (6:05pm), when the girl working the register decided to get off the phone with whoever she was talking to (not taking an order, because she told them to call back in 5 minuets) she advised me it would be another 5 minuets. While I was sitting there she was advising someone on the phone this store didn't deliver to their address. During that time one of the other employees brought up 3 large pizzas and placed them in the warmer. She looked at those pizzas at least twice while I was sitting there waiting my "5" minuets. I guess she went on a break or something, because the guy that put my three pizzas in the warmer started working the counter. I continued to sit there with my two kids watching other people come and pick up their orders. Finally when it was just me again the guy asked me my name and he pulled out my pizzas. It was now 6:45pm! P.S. I guess they like showing you the pizza now. I'm not ordering from here anymore. I've deleted the app from my phone. They put uncooked vegetables on top of already cooked pizzas when they're busy. I complained the first time they did it. They were nice and promised it was an isolated incident that wouldn't happen again. Well it happened again and when I asked the cashier about it he said they cook a whole bunch of pizzas ahead and then customize by adding extra meats and vegetables to the already cooked pizzas. He added that it's ok because the meat is pre cooked The cold raw vegetables do not taste good on the pizza and I would prefer the meat being cooked on the pizza also. Another case of a food chain using teenagers as "shift managers" with extremely poor customer service skills.... Ordered a pizza via the online store at 6:49pm and received confirmation that the order would be delivered in 50 minutes. It wasn't, and at 7:55, I called to inquire about my order to have a young lady fumble around and finally say that my order had been delivered and paid for... I had to repeat twice that I was calling because I do not have a pizza in my hand and no one came to my door. Then I received a magical "oh, it's on it's way... 5 mins." I asked for a discount or free considering we're 30 mins late at this point and she said "the manager said no" about twice and finally put the "manager" on the phone who said the order would be there any minute and he couldn't give me a credit because "it would screw over the driver." I told them to cancel the order and refund my money. He desperately tried to tell me he would have to call the driver to not deliver the pizza in order to cancel the order... Ordered online...nothing crazy. Two medium pizzas and some breadsticks which shouldn't be much trouble. The screen told me the wait for a carry-out pizza was an hour, which I thought sounded a little long. Called what I thought was the store to inquire whether the wait was correct, and was sent to a call center where it became painfully obvious that English was not the operator's first language. After a really frustrating conversation where she kept trying to get me to place an order in spite of my attempts to tell her I had already placed one online, we waited out the time the screen showed. Love how the clock counts down extra slow to make you even crazier. After the hour was up, we drove to the store for our pies. We were told through the drive thru window that our pizza would be another 30 minutes, and when I asked if they had even started on our order, we were told that they had not.
