Yeah, this place has no business being as good as it is, but it blew us out of the water. Saw a few tiktoks with their loaded looking tacos and retro looking tostada- and we drove 45 minutes to Hutto to check it out. It was worth it. They have a very simple interior and menu, and we ordered a few items. The super Tostada, super taco, soft taco and their cinnamon sugar delights. Everything was LOADED. If you ever imagined eating food that looks directly out of a commercial, this place is it. The tacos were bursting at the seams. The Tostada required 2 hands. And it actually all tasted delicious. Like legit good. Our favorite was probably the soft taco flavor wise. It cost less than the super taco and had way more meat. A signature of this place seems to be topping with a ton of cheese, and none of us complained. Their hot sauce is really good too. We wrapped it up with their dessert item, and they were absolutely amazing. Freshly fried chips coated in cinnamon and sugar. Everything was fresh made and tasted like it. If youre looking for a Taco Bell equivalent but better in every way, this place is it. We were super surprised by how good it was. read more

Let's taco about the Taco Casa in Hutto, TX! Visited on a Tuesday for Taco Tuesday, a real special by the way $1.99 each original taco, however didn't find out until after I placed my order since the menu board is electronic and changes every 10 seconds within the promo window, anyhow I ordered the supreme taco cut the tomatoes and the combination burrito with green sauce. The staff were very friendly and took my order quick and accurate, in about 5 minutes my food was ready. Now let's rate the food, the supreme taco was huge took a photo for a comparison with my hand, beef tasted like it has taco seasoning however fresher than TB which is a bonus! The combination burrito has beans and ground beef, beans are good well cooked and the spicy green sauce was anything but spicy fell short of my expectation. The sweet tea was on point $1.99 for a large is a steal of a deal! The place is plainly decorated however I came for the food not the ambiance or atmosphere overall decent fast food Tex mex food, does the job way better than TB, moderately priced however might go with the Super Nachos next time and get more bang for the buck! read more

Always Love Taco Casa. This one is as good as it gets. Seemed a lot smaller inside, but this is the GOAT of fast food Mexican chains . No chicken or vegan options. Which is fine for me. When it comes to fast food tacos, I've been to the following: Taco Bell, Del Taco, Baja Fresh, El Pollo Loco, Taco Cabana, and now Taco Casa. Each restaurant is different with each offering different styles so it's hard to compare all the foods to each other but to focus on crispy tacos and burritos, now I can compare it. Of all the crispy tacos, soft tacos, and burritos at any past restaurant I've been too, taco casa has to be the best. It has a crispy taco shell that actually holds its form and it's shape, it doesn't fall apart. How do they do this?! The tacos also come packaged well so it doesn't crack either. The ground beef is amazing, fall apart, dark mole, seasoned salty ground beef, it definitely taste fresh. It taste as if the ground beef was made per day and not from a bag. When added the cheese, the taste of the cheese and the overall flavors, amazing. Cheese cheese cheese, it's wonderful. The bean dip is creamy, tart with the red sauce, and the cheese is velvety. It adds another complex flavor when added to the crispy tacos. The soft tacos and the burrito, it taste as if the tortilla is steamed. To taste steamed tortilla, it has a soft warm and fluffy exterior. When I bit into the meat burrito, the first thing I noticed was the soft tortilla. The chili burger, ehh it was ok. When I got it, took off the top, it was simple, and thin, just ehh I probably won't order it again. It would be nice if taco casa had other protein like chicken or pork so it's just only seasoned ground beef but they definitely nailed the ground beef down for sure. read more

"Xtra cheese please!" Said no one ever at this wonderful place to eat. Taco Bell killer answered! Do not be deceived this is fast food, and they do well, but if you have to eat fast food go here. I have had the privilege to eat at several locations and they always clean with great service. The only issue I have is the hot sauce. I really wish they had their own unique brand. Their hot sauce packets are very difficult to open, bring a cutting torch solid. Their food deserves a better unique sauce. Go here and try it you will come back. read more

We finally meet....Taco Casa! I have been seeing Taco Casa photos posted by Paige and I've been waiting to try it. I could not decide so wanted to try different things. Super nachos-they pack these separately. Thank you. As you know the cheese would make the chips soggy. I liked the nachos. Chilada- picture shows black olives on top and I didn't get it like that. That's ok. It was still good. Definitely has a lot of cheesy goodness. Super taco-wow didn't know they made crispy tacos that long. Loved it! Super burrito- definitely filling and good. Casa Delights- too sweet for me. I'm a wimp lol. I definitely can't wait to go back and try the chili burger. Drive thru went smoothly. There are two lanes. The second lane they run out to your car to take your payment and give you your food. People working there very cool. Taco Casa hot sauce? Yes please. My new go to is this place. This is Taco Bell circa 1990. The freshness, the items are all reminiscent of when "the bell" had deliciousness instead of the circus it is today. Remember the enchirito? (Or however you spell it) well TC has their own version which looks good af. Remember that large crispy flour taco shell? I was craving Mexican food so I decided to stop here. I walked to the counter to order and waited for about three minutes before someone came up to the counter. The wait for the food wasn't too long. When I got my food it was hot but very salty. I think it was due to all of the cheese and sauce. I didn't like how the drink station is behind the counter, so you have to wait for an employee to refill your drink. The sweet tea was not that sweet but still good. The dining room was very clean, but there was an unusual smell in there. The staff was also very nice. I do like how there isn't too many options on the menu; it makes decisions easier and the prices are good too. I will be coming back to try other foods that they have! read more

Parking can be difficult at times. Right next to Chipotle, Gatti's Pizza, and Tropical Smoothie Cafe. But it's worth it. We certainly recommend this place to dine at. read more

They put tons of toppings on also. We go there at least twice a month and drive 40 miles to do so.
