I love pizza. This place's pizza smells like cocoa. Got a pepperoni pie w/ salad and garlic knots. It's typical and run-of-the-mill for pizza. Garlic knots were doughy and not garlicy enough. Salad was decent. I ate the pizza, but I would eat any pizza you put in front of me. I've had much better. They do deliver. That's a plus. read more

I have been a fan of Anthony's pizza for over twenty years and I know that they had a rapid expansion during the 80's and 90's around the Orlando area but now all those other stores are not related to the downtown store on by Robinson. Being gluten disabled I avoided every thing on the menu and got a salad and meatballs. Every one else enjoyed the delicious pizzas they ordered and as I drooled over the gooey cheese and crisp crunchy crust I knew I had to give a good review. My favorite pizza is the VIP with all the loads of meat, cheese and veggies! also with extra sauce on the side! Good pizza, typical salads, good soups, good service all at a decent price. read more

If i could give zero stars that is what i would do. My wife ordered a couple of pizzas and some other items. when she arrived after waiting 30 additional minutes, she inquired about our order. The manager proceeded to yell at my wife and daughter going so far as to yell "fucking" across the kitchen at them. When she asked for a refund receipt, she was told they couldn't print one. We have been customers for about 3 years. The quality and professionalism has degraded significantly. Obviously. Save your self the aggravation and the over priced experience. Stay away. A quality pie here! We got the Bianca pizza and it was great. Also ordered an antipasta salad which was very good. Salad was fresh and house dressing was good. The restaurant itself could use some new booths. We sat down at one and it was semi-broken. The waitress seemed to indicate it had been broken for a while. We moved and all was fine. We did not wait long at all for our food, but it was a Monday night and the place was empty. The pizza here is very good. Not the absolute best I have ever eaten, but a good quality pizza. I have never had any of their Italian dishes, as I tend to go up to a place close to mt dora/zellwood if I want pasta. Her racist anger came out before we even say down to wait for our pizza we literally just ordered with her. Take their money and but don't give them service. Best believe that wasn't going to fly with me and I had black and white kids ( my stepson is white) with me that day that I was treating to for lunch. When KIDS can sense this, it's not a good look. I used to like Anthony's but the last several times I have been here I have had a horrible experience and things don't seem to be getting any better. Tonight I was brought the wrong pizza, so a new one had to be made and the wings were wrong. Waitress never refilled drinks, took 10 min to get check and box (only to come back without box). Once I finally did get the check I had to wait for several minutes before I was even acknowledged at the counter. The tip was already included on my bill so I asked for it to be removed and when the manager did it he was not at all interested to learn why I was so dissatisfied. I'm giving them 4 stars because of the 1.5 hour delivery time,but the pizza is stout! Really great Pie! I ordered the Extravaganza and it's got the perfect pizza flavors. The crust is really good. Got that chew and crisp. Not a very light crust but not too heavy either. Glad this place is close. Good pizza is hard to find in Florida! Called to order medium extra cheese pizza and two cannolis a to go Friday night at 5:10pm. I was told it was a 30 min wait. That was fine, I know Fridays are busy. When I arrived 30min later it took another 50 min. To get my to go order. Place was crazy busy. All the employees were running in circles. I also notice that the customers that came in after me to dine in, were served first. That does not seem very fair. When I got home my husband and I dung in. Werent impressed. We wouldnt call it extra cheese, crust was tasteless, cannolis were rock hard. Very nice place to eat :) Staff was very nice and seating was comfortable. We ordered and got out food fast. Pricing was great compared to the big portions you get. One thing i thought a bit odd at first, was that you only get one refill on your fountain drink, but when they brought our drinks the cup was huge lol...probably 32oz or so, so I understand now :) Only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars was that it was a bit too dim..definitely would have been better with a bit more lighting. read more

Great pizza for a good price! We always order take out (only pizza) so I can't comment on dining service but the pizza has a nice, chewy crust and they use fresh toppings. The ones we usually get are green pepper, mushroom, and sausage. The cheese and sauce are decent too. Sometimes, I do need to put the slices in the convection oven for a few minutes after the pizza gets here to crisp up the crust a little more..just because I like it a little crispy on the outside and soft/chewy on the inside :) Ask for the large, 1 topping special for $13! read more

If you have been apologizing for an hour and a half, over and over, admitted someone screwed things up is it the customers job to ask for some love????? No, a manager should have been all over this ticket and at least offered. The waitress should have known we weren't going to be thrilled and offered something or more than a half way apology. My hubby and I were super patient and respectful the entire time. After asking to comp sub she brought back the check and apologized once more and promised us this would never happen again, it was just busy! (how can one even make that promise...it's the food industry...it gets crazy!) Newsflash.....restaurants are busy!!! Having waited tables for many years when I was younger, I know that. The garlic knots were doughy and didn't have much flavor. The salad ok, I got the baked Ziti, usually my favorite but I barely ate it. It just didn't have much flavor. My boyfriend's calzone was pretty good but we've had better. My aunt ordered the eggplant parmesan and she couldn't eat it. It didn't have any flavor. We told the waitress and sent it back. The server asked my aunt if she wanted something else and she said no. The server said she would take it off our bill. The bill was presented with the charge still on it. When I asked she said the manager wouldn't take it off because My aunt didn't order a different item *What!! I asked her to please take the charge off. She did, thank goodness but when she returned she threw the check and my credit card at me on the table and said thanks!!! Seriously?? We weren't rude or angry about any of it, we just didn't like the dish and did not want to pay for something we didn't eat. I complained to the manager about our meals, he agreed and said they are not prepared the way he would do it or the way that they should be. Presentation on the plate is horrible. My granddaughter's food was swimming in sauce, buried in cheese, and unidentifiable. I had Eggplant Parmesan and could hardly find the eggplant. A big plate of Ziti with a little bit of eggplant in the middle. I am used to a baked dish, this seemed to be assembled and overheated in a microwave. The "Garlic Knots" we ordered were more like mini sub rolls, and no evidence of garlic or oil - Nothing like the photos on the menu. Ordered a pizza for pick up last night and when my husband was paying, he witnessed a guy in the kitchen making pizzas reach down in his pocket, grab his phone, mess with it for a minute, put it back in his pocket and continue putting toppings on the pizza without gloves.. Phones are beyond dirty. Think of all the places we put our phone. We ordered delivery Chicken Marsala and chicken piccata the food was not edible PERIOD. The sauce tasted like plastic had melted in the food. Called to talk to the manager/owner and no one was available. Management has extremely poor service. Someone did come to bring us a refund, but made sure to look at all the food to see that we had not eaten any, which we did not since it was not edible and we could hardly even eat a single bite. Although prior to starting on the pasta we did eat the small side salad. The delivery person said we were missing a salad, well YES we were hungry it was 8:30 and we ordered at 6:45. The driver was instructed not to give a refund if any food was missing. The driver had to call the restaurant to approve the refund but could not get through to anyone at the restaurant. We offered to give her a replacement salad since we ate ONE of the two salads. Really! How about the fact that we were so inconvenienced and the food was HORRIBLE! We have dined in the restaurant multiple times before but have only had delivery twice. Needless to say they have lost a regular customer. Stopped in for a quick slice of pizza and soft drink at 6 PM, was waited on promptly, server was pleasant. My wife ordered cheese pizza slice and a Coke. I asked for a meat lovers pizza slice and diet coke, was told only cheese pizza or pepperoni after 5. OK it is a pizza place. They do sell pizza by the slice, what can do so difficult by adding toppings to cheese pizza, no matter what time it is. It was suggested that I order the VIP meat lovers which has a top crust, which I did. About 10 minutes goes by and the server comes back and asked if we have decided yet. We said yes, you already took our order. The food came and was very good. Because of the earlier delay we realised that we had to get going, the server had disappeared. We needed to get our check so we could get on the road. I had to go to checkout counter to ask for check. Then when trying to pay, the check was duplicated in the computer, and the duplicated line items had to be deleted before we could pay.
