I got my hair cut by Tom back in March, and I'm still in awe of what a great job he did. I have curly hair, but if it's not well-styled, it looks more like a frizz-ball with a hint of wave. And if I'm being honest, it pretty much looked like that all the time until Tom cut and styled it and taught me the Ouidad rake and shake method. Including time under the dryer, he probably spent over two hours on me. The results were gorgeous, and because he took the time to show me how to style it myself, I'm able to get comparable results at home. But I'll definitely be scheduling another appointment for a trim and styling soon! read more

Salon looks trendy but inviting. First one that I've been to that doesn't feel like a factory with a ton of people bustling around. Highlights are done around a community table which I love so you don't feel awkward looking at yourself the whole time. Hair wash/scalp massage was wonderful. Had a place to rest your head in the sink so you don't pull a neck cramp! Wish all places would have that. Color and cut turned out awesome! Really friendly salon with a great staff. They really took their time with me, doing a deep condition on my dry ends, etc. I watched as several clients walked out very happy with their hair. One caution I have is that the Ouidad haircut is not for everyone. I asked my stylist beforehand if I'd have frizz due to all the short pieces and he said it wouldn't be a problem. Well, I do have more frizz, although my hair also looks a lot healthier after the treatment and cutting the dry ends off. When I wear my hair back, I get a lot of shorter pieces sticking out in all directions. I think that whether or not that happens with a Ouidad depends on the texture of your hair, and I just don't have the right texture. Also, he cut the ends blunt, which adds bulk to my very thick, curly hair, and he didn't re-layer (my long layers had grown out), so it's all one length. He told me layers weren't necessary with the Ouidad. Consequently, I'm going to need another haircut sooner than I would have, to get those layers put back! He put tons of product in my hair at the end, which made it look pretty good (if wet), but the way I do it at home, I just can't make it look very good. I'll go back to my regular stylist next time, but I do want to say that I think this is a good salon, hence the 4 stars. I just got the wrong cut for my hair, and I only wish I'd been told that maybe I wasn't a good candidate. read more

This is the best as best gets! I have been going to the Anthony Robert Salon since they were in their original location. The new salon is absolutely beautiful. Everyone there is so friendly and accommodating. It's my heaven on earth. This is the place I can go to once a month and get treated like a princess. Kristen does my hair and she is so talented. We do highlights, color, conditioning treatments - everything you can imagine and it comes out PERFECT every single time! Anthony cuts my son's hair and honestly it ALWAYS comes out perfect...Anthony even gave Brad some blond highlights last summer and it looked totally cool for a teenager! Anthony's sister, Maria is at the front desk and she always has a smile on her face and is so friendly and helpful. Deniz is so sweet. And there aren't enough words to describe Jeff! Great find in Verona! I've been looking for a salon since the place I had been going to moved and it's just too far to drive. I went to Anthony Roberts with a group on and was surprised by how cordial and professional the staff treated me. Even the owner spoke with me for a few minutes. My colorist and stylist was Tom and he did a fantastic job. So much so that I booked a second visit for highlights. I haven't had anything done to my hair since May 2011 right before my first child was born. After my second child was born this last Nov, my husband would constantly hear me complain about how my hair was getting too long & I needed a change. Since I wasn't getting around to it, my husband decided I needed some time that was all about me & setup an appt for me at Anthony Robert Salon. I was a little nervous to go to the salon because it's on tv & who knows how good the place really is. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I am by no means a girly girl. I have no idea what kind of hairstyle would look nice or what color is really good for me. I knew that I kinda liked my haircut in a bob style & I did like it when I had it in a red shade. My appt was with Kristen & she was AWESOME!! She didn't make me feel dumb & she gave me suggestions on what color would would look good with my skin tone. She also asked me what kind of things I might like with my haircut. I told her a few things & then she went with it. In the end, I ended up loving my hair. The cut is fantastic & the color works really well with my eye color & my skin tone. I will defintiely go back in the future. Also, Anthony did come over to greet me which is nice because not all salon owners do that. And, I was offered coffee, water, etc by more than one of the staff which makes you feel important. :) Finally, the place was stylish but didn't make you feel uncomfortable like some of the more upscale salons can make you feel & it was really clean, which I liked. It is such a treat still for me to come here! In May, I got my dark brown hair colored with the ever so trendy ombre look. Kristen did an awesome job, the color is still amazing and I am still getting compliments. Last month my bff and her mom came and we all got blowouts with Kristen, Anthony, and Jeff and loved their 'dos, such a great morning getting pampered at the salon. Let me start by saying like others I have been to many different salons and always felt that after I left I would have to fix my hair to my likely because my hair dresser could never get it right. A good friend of mine recommended me to, Rose, her stylist at the Anthony Robert salon. Words can not discribe how amazing Rose is. She is very passionate and knowledgeable in what she does. Rose is the only one I trust to cut my hair and for once in my life I am completely satisfied when I leave the salon. I have had cuts, trims, color, keratin all done by Rose. It's great to finally have my hair styled by a stylist. Not just done by a hair dresser!! There is a big difference btwn the 2 in my opinion. I have recommended her to my family and friends and they have all been extremely satisfied with Rose and her talented hands and have become regulars too :) I can honestly say I cannot imagine going to another salon. I can't say enough about my personal stylist Rosemarie Blake! I went to Rosemarie about two years ago because she really knows how to curly curly hair. I won't let anyone else touch my hair now. Recently I went to Rose because I needed a drastic change. I have so gotten married and after my honeymoon in Aruba my hair was bleached out and dry from seven days in the pool and ocean. for the first time ever I had a keratin treatment. Yes I went straight! And had a significant amount of hair cut off along with color. I give Rose 5 starts across the board! Now I know that Rose cuts straight hair just as good as curly. I bought a cut & color groupon to this salon back in October. My stylist was Tom. Anthony was there on the day I was there, he said hello but other than that pretty much kept to himself. He does seem much friendlier on tv. I explained to Tom that I wanted a dark brown color & layers for my hair. He seemed to get what I wanted. Upon leaving my hair seemed decent, although I did think my hair color was a little too dark. A few days later I washed & styled my hair & noticed that my layers were uneven & over time the cut just seemed to grow out in a weird shape. Overall I wasn't impressed with the cut or color. If I wasn't pregnant & with a toddler as well I wouldve gone back to get the cut fixed. Im just letting my hair grow out a little before finding another salon. read more

There was so much hype about this salon, which made me excited but for my experiene Anthony didnt seem very friendly, the salon had a very weird energy, and as I checked in the receptionist which seemed to be his sister was very rude, a little advice for your buisness GET A NEW RECEPTIONIST! Your receptionist is supposed to be the face of the salon, seems to me like you guys need some changing to do. I am so lucky I found Anthony at Anthony Robert Salon. He did an amazing job and he is the best hairstylist ever. I just moved to the area and my hair was so overdo for a cut. I wear my hair one length at shoulder level, but it was really out of shape by the time I went to Anthony. Lots of breakage and damage. A big chunk of my hair broke in the front (thanks to the crazy hairdryer I was using in Europe all summer) which gave me bangs and I hate bangs. Anthony gave me an amazing haircut. First he gave me a compliementary conditioning treatment and he listened to exactly how I like my hair and he fixed EVERYTHING. He not only gave me the exact cut I wanted but he styled it so beautifully. When I went to pick up my daughter from Ballet all the moms right away saw that I had my hair cut and wanted to know where I went. It was all one length and smooth and bouncy. It's a shame I wasn't going anywhere special, but I will go back to Anthony when I need it styled for special events too. Completely different from the messy pony tail I was wearing every day. Super friendly staff, cute and clean salon, and did not have me wait for my scheduled appt like other places do. I really enjoyed Donna as my hair stylist. I had long hair and decided to chop it off to my jawline and was worried i wouldn't get the look i wanted. She nailed my cut. Not only that, she made me super comfortable during the process, which can be nerve wrecking when doing something that dramatic.Overall a great experience! The salon itself has a great atmosphere. It's very clean and trendy. I got a trim and it was perfectly cut. Kristen got the job done quickly, though she didn't rush at all. She's just efficient and gives a great blowout. The prices are reasonable and making appointments is easy. Be the time I was done, my hair looked like it belonged to a Victoria Secret model. I saw Denise at Anthony Robert Salon today and she nailed it. While my hair is a bit shorter than i prefer, Denise skillfully turned around the disastrous mess of a haircut from another hairdresser at this salon two weeks earlier. Denise was able to blend the choppy layers and blunt cut my hair so that it once again fell into a pageboy bob neatly and well-styled. It will take a bit of time for the layers to grow out completely but while they do I will not be hiding my hair under a hat! I will continue to have my hair styled by Denise going forward. Anthony answered the phone in the morning and was extremely polite and accommodating, he got me an appointment that day with the stylist I requested. I asked for Kristin who my friend has had her hair done by and referred me to. I walked in and described and showed photos of how I wanted my super long hair to look. All I am going to say is she is the first stylist to ever cut my hair exactly how I described and wanted. And the next day after I washed it, I was able to achieve the look myself! This place is great! The prices can get high depending on what you get done and what level tech you use but it is worth it. I had a girl that was the lowest level tech and she was amazing very knowledgeable and helpful to someone like me who is not a girly girl so I would know what to do to keep my hair healthy and amd look good it not cost me $$$$$.
