Anthem [To Share] Crab Rangoon- not amazing
    Kat S.

Dined here for a late lunch on a Thursday and glad we did. The place is located in the market area of downtown Omaha and was a real find. We started with the grilled salted edamame (probably the best I have ever had in my life) and the crab rangoons (meh) and some unsweetened tea. Those items filled use up but we did order an entree each, me the nam nom salad and my sister the grilled shrimp tacos. Both wonderful! My salad was a mixture of spices, cabbage, noodles, and green onions with a slight kick. Eat bite was unique. I ate a lot of the dish but the quantity of it never dissipated. I couldn't finish it. We were celebrating a birthday and shared the Chinese five spice dusted donuts- not what I expected... they were slightly savory and slightly sweet without tasting like anise and fish sauce.

This place is pretty good! They have a wide selection of drinks on the wire menu. All of the ones that I've ordered were so good. Our server seated our group quickly despite being a busy day for a Saturday. For entrees, we got the breakfast noodles and quesabirria tacos. Good portions, good times, I'll be back for sure.

Water with no ice!! I love this so much.

I've been wanting to check out this new Flagship restaurant since it opened, and finally did for happy hour! It's a fun Asian-fusion inspired, super aesthetically pleasing spot. I came with a friend and we were seated right away, and were able to make reservations ahead of time to ensure we got a spot. It wasn't very busy when we went, but you never know! We sat inside because of the heat, but the patio was a gorgeous spot that would be perfect to sit and enjoy some nicer weather. We came specifically for the happy hour, and I was very impressed at the selection of happy hour items on the menu. I wanted to try more of the drinks, but ended up getting two of the frozen blood orange margaritas with a Tajin rim. SO good for the summer!!! I ordered the curry fries which came with a spicy mayo and ketchup, and the popcorn chicken which had a sweet-spicy glaze and cilantro-jalapeño mix. My friend ordered the taquitos (soon to be removed from the menu we were told) and yummy fries. Those were both so good too! I love the option to the pu pu platters for multiple options, and only $35 during happy hour. The wait staff and hosts were all incredible, no notes!!

Went for happy hour (3:00-6:30 on Saturday) Got seated quick and ordered some happy hour margs, the house marg was good, nothing super fancy but it wasn't a big marg and it was $8.. there's a spot in benson with the same size margs for $3 every day. I would have liked a larger glass for $8. We got the Cheat Code PuPu Platter, it said it fed 4-6 people but two ladies smashed ALL of it. The tuna tacos were good, nothing crazy about them, just good. The jalapeno Mac poppers were the best on the plate I think, fun taste and good bite. The crab Rangoons were honestly sad, they weren't stuffed with anything really, all wonton and no crab. The Thai curry fries were good, but they're just fries with curry seasoning on them. The flautas were ok, didn't taste like anything. It was a bland platter, not a whole lot of food ($35 during HH and $40 during reg hours). The service was good, the tables are a little crowded but if you ask for a booth there is more room. I might go back to try a different plate but the drinks are super expensive even during HH and the platters are not worth the money.

Anthem was amazing! The atmosphere is so fun, with great lighting and a trendy Asian fusion aesthetic. It truly feels like a hidden gem--we don't have many places like this in Omaha. Our waiter was incredibly kind, gave excellent recommendations, and you could tell he genuinely loved the food and wanted us to have a great experience. We ordered the flautas, queso, edamame, shrimp tacos, and the house margarita, and every single thing was spot on. The flavors were incredible, and the service was just as impressive. There was plenty of seating, the overall vibe was fantastic, and we'll absolutely be back. Don't miss out on this place!

I always look forward to checking out a new Flagship concept, and walking into this one definitely lived up to my expectations. The atmosphere and decor were exactly the kind of vibe I was hoping for. We started with the Ube Espresso Martini and the tuna tacos, and without spoiling the rest of the meal, these ended up being our favorites. The martini was sweet with the perfect hint of coconut, while the tacos were buttery with just the right amount of spice, balanced by the refreshing slaw. For my entrée, I ordered the shrimp tacos. They were good, but nothing about them really stood out. My husband ordered the Rice Rice Baby, which was a generous portion and surprisingly unique thanks to the popcorn chicken. The service was excellent. Several team members checked on us throughout the meal, and we felt genuinely well taken care of. Overall, the quality of the food was good, but the menu wasn't quite for us. Many of the dishes leaned heavily into curry flavors, which limited the options that appealed to our tastes. I'd absolutely come back for the drinks, appetizers, and atmosphere, but the entrées didn't leave the same impression.

Tiger Style Sticky Ribs and the cheat code shareable platter

This place replaced the restaurant Planks, busy area! This place had outdoor seating as well, but mainly if you want to snack or grab a drink. We got the sticky ribs and it was good, but it was a little salty in my opinion. We also got the cheat code as well, very filling and a great choice to get if you want to try multiple things on the menu and share. The crispy wonton tuna tacos were probably my least favorite - I think it had sprinkles on them? Which isn't what I'd prefer and tuna didn't taste as fresh. Next time I think I'd get the cure shareable platter!

Anthem is a wonderful addition to the downtown Old Market area. The outdoor seating areas offer both sit down tables for a bite to eat and relaxing benches for a glass of wine to chat with friends. All nestled in beautiful flowers and greenery that separate you from the hustle and bustle. The service is excellent. Friendly, informative and helpful staff make your visit so pleasant. The food was great! Adding a bit of Asian fusion to many American fare favs. Smash burger was tasty and I was happy to see that one of the side choices was a nice salad with delicious Ponzu vinaigrette dressing. A refreshing change from the classic burger n fries combo! The indoor decor and seating was tasteful and varied. Bar top, booths and cozy comfy chatting areas. Definitely add this restaurant to your next lunch or dinner list

I really love flagship restaurants but the experience I had here severely missed the high quality service and food mark that the affiliated restaurants so easily exceed. It was a Friday night and I popped in to see if I could snag a spot for a quick drink before meeting my friend for dinner. The bar is open seating but the host kinda snubbed me for thinking I could get a seat. So off the bat, the whole "we're so exclusive" was a reason to turn away. Although I understood it was a busy night and I really didn't let that get to me and bounced out the door thinking that was expected but he didn't have to be so mean. Well, the other time came later that evening. While walking back to the hotel I noticed that Anthem had cleared out quite a bit and The Ube Espresso Martini was really calling my name. We decided to go in and found a spot at the bar. One bartender was absolutely wonderful, but any other time someone else helped us it felt as though we were an inconvenience. Are Millenials too old for this place?! If that's the environment this place is providing, I'll pass. I don't need to be treated poorly to feel cool in a new hip spot - this is Omaha not New York ya'll. The largest issue I had, is I found out on an Instagram post the next day that they have late night happy hour. Well that was news to me considering they did not inform us of this or give us a happy hour menu while sitting at the bar during that time frame. We were completely unaware of this and ordered full menu items when we would have had an array of smaller plates. Don't get played like we did and make sure you ask for a happy hour menu! The food and drink offerings are a bit all over the place. I think this restaurant is a little confused on what culture or region of food they want to serve, but I can say that everything we ate was tasty. Prices were decent for an Old Market location. I did not love the Ube Martini like I thought because there are high notes of coconut in it. I think I would visit again, but if the next experience is anything like the first it'll be a no thank you from then on.

I visited Anthem twice on my last visit to Omaha - what a great addition in the old Plank space. They have made it quite beautiful inside! Typical street parking or there is a parking garage about a block either way. Reservations recommended, and they have indoor, bar, and outdoor patio seating available. The first visit, I came for the Ube Espresso martini I had been seeing all over social media, which did not disappoint if you are a coconut fan! I also tried the crab rangoon which were served with a gochujang sauce and Chinese mustard aioli, different and yummy! The second visit was for brunch. We did the mimosa service (bottle of champagne, two juices, 3 flavor droppers, great deal for 2+ people!), the queso with curry dusted chips (YUM), and I had the chicken biscuit (the combo of the kewpie mayo + hot honey was awesome) with potatoes (more like flat tator tot rounds). This is a cool addition to the Omaha food scene. Something a little different than the usual with a little Asian fusion!

We tried out Anthem this weekend and had a wonderful evening! The restaurant is truly gorgeous- Flagship always has amazing interiors! We made a reservation and were at the restaurant during happy hour. A delicious mojito and chips and guac started off the meal! For mains, we ordered the Smash Burger and Birria Tacos with fries and a house salad. The tacos were flavorful and the fries were addictive! The Smash Burger was rich and indulgent. The only item I would not order again was the house salad- get the fries or chips as your side instead! Our server showed us the menu and pointed out her favorites, we got our food quickly and spend about 45 minutes in the restaurant! We will be back to test out additional menu items- totally recommend trying!

First time I went here & it was delicious! My friend & I split a platter called "The Cure." It had popcorn chicken, yummy fries, crab rangoon, edamame & queso with chips. It was $35 on happy hour. I really enjoyed the meal. Everything was super tasty and different. The vibe was so cute & I loved the lighting in there. It was perfect. I'll definitely be coming back here to try something different

    Anthem To Share Yummy Fries

Fun fusion concept we sat at the bar for Early dinner - they were so so busy - however Staff was busy, not friendly or helpful. The Yummy Fries - were yummy crispy sweat potato fries with fun sauces and Bonita fish flakes. Then we had ponzu salmon noodles - the salmon was good- however it had sat under heat toooo long and the noodles were dry - no sauce, cabbage or cashews, was topped with cilantro . I might go for the fries..... Otherwise I would not
