We just ate here. So happy to discover this place as we often drive thru Sandy and now we have a great option for a meal. They serve breakfast all day. The breakfast bowl was great. My husband ordered the mushroom soup and chicken salad sandwich and he was very pleased with both. The portions are very generous. We'll be back. read more

Like the lattes and gluten free muffins. The turkey burger I ordered last week was absolutely terrible. I ended up dumping the turkey concoction and eating the remains of my skinny skimpy gluten free veggie sandwich.. The bread was good though, I must say. But the turkey whatever was not of this world, nor was it organic as I was told it was. Nice staff and atmosphere is decent as well. Oh, had the soup, really could not say what it was, but I ate it. Will go back for lattes and muffins in the future. read more

Ant Farm is a very family friendly place. The setting is cozy and aesthetic . The food is delicious and comes fairly quickly. The breakfast burrito is amazing. There is a piano in the corner and it was really fun to hear different people playing and having fun. The people there were very nice. Do not go there,just don't. We used to go there a lot with a friend who loved this place,so I have eaten there a hundred times. All in all,their food is below mediocre,they would never survive in a big city. Small portions,overpriced. Save your money and buy some products to make a sandwich at home. And go somewhere else for lunch,there are enough options around. You are better off getting your burrito at some other chain place,too. Their tortillas are kept frozen,then they thaw them...same thing with the soups,yes,they thaw soups out every morning!!!! They are being kept frozen for a week or so. Pathetic!!! Mac&cheese is premade for a week ahead and then microwaved upon your order...dense tasteless,but greasy brick. It was gross. They call the chicken in the salad fresh,but it is not as it comes in frozen,then they thaw it,too...Bagels? Frozen as well and baked every morning. Does it make them fresh? Absolutely not. There is not such thing as fresh frozen,Antfarm! All this information circles around because people who have worked there do talk. Bread is chewy & if you are ordering a gluten free sandwich,it will break as soon as you touch it. Vegetables are not fresh (same story with the potato in the burritos---premade days before you order them in your burrito), salads often look wilted. Coffee is ok,but nothing amazing,sometimes,it is too sweet.Pastries are meh. Visit another famous bakery in Sandy for an excellent muffin or another pastry because Antfarm's muffins are bland and scones are dry,though,they are not not cheap. Definitely do not go for a business lunch because you may not get your food in 30 minutes or more. We had to leave hungry a few times,even though,we had paid for our meals,but we couldn't wait any longer!! Another reviewer mentioned the issue with the furniture. It is all true,it is probably donated or picked up on the streets with the sign Free next to it. And no,I am not asking for any discount or a gift card,just expressing my honest opinion. read more

The coffee is the best in town. The food, though sometimes can be kind of weird combinations, it is so clean and good. The organization is totally 100% awesome! I come here every time I'm in town. They give you good food and do amazing things for the community with your money. read more

OK - This Cafe a very hip looking, beautifully laid out place that could easily rival any in downtown Portland... but it is here in our little town of Sandy. Not only is it beautiful, but the lattes are hands down, the best in town. (Now these folks know how to pull espresso drinks!) Their baked goods are scrumptious too. Home made Gelato too. All this to say, it is a wonderful place (oh, and did I say all of this is to help teens?) - can't wait till their menu expands! read more

In the 22 years that I've been vegetarian, I have never worried about there being bacon in potato salad when ordering it from restaurants, particularly a restaurant like this that appears to be veggie friendly. The fact that it isn't vegetarian should be on the menu, or, at the very least, the staff should have indicated that it wasn't vegetarian when we were ordering all other things vegetarian. Also, the sandwich bread was stale, and some of the spinach on the sandwich was rotten. I won't be returning. read more

The food here is delicious! I love the staff as well they are extremely friendly and helpful when you're trying to avoid certain ingredients :) the decorations and set up of the place are also very comfortable and adorable, makes you feel right at home! 4 of us went for a late lunch today (1:30) and left 45 minutes later, completely satisfied. After ordering and paying at the counter, we sat at a large table with benches on each side. If you are wanting a comfy, padded chair to hang out for awhile, this isn't it, but the place is perfectly clean and worked for us. I ordered a large salad ($7)...greens, carrots, feta, cucumbers, cranberries, raisins. Plus chicken salad on top (huge serving and delicious for $3). Husband had a grilled cheese he said was excellent. 16 year old had a tuna melt she was happy with, and 14 year old enjoyed his BLT. Food came quickly. One complaint: the only "side" was an orange slice....chips or a pickle or a little more fruit would be nice. Will definitely return! Someone commented very negatively about the place's liberal politics.....only sign of that was a small notecard saying something about employing young people and investing in the community. I used to come here almost everyday until their barista changed. This is one of the cafes that the barista have zero knowledge of coffee and cannot brew or extract properly. The lattes here are just not drinkable, foam is topped from mid cup. The milk is overheated to the point where all taste is gone and it's just too hot to consume. It's heartbreaking to see how they use good Nossa Familia beans in such horrible way. Please train your barista's for coffee sake. read more
