She said, about 7 or 8 times, "your order is ready." I kept explaining it was a 45 minute drive away, could they do anything. But she wouldn't even acknowledge what I was saying, each time, her only response was always "your order is ready." So unprofessional. If she had any social skills she could've said "I'm so sorry, we can't cancel the order, it's company policy" or something like that. But no, she refused to say anything other than the exact same phrase over and over, "your order is ready." Clearly, the goal was to get me to give up. Which I would have eventually -- it was my mistake -- but you don't have to be so rude about it. Congrats, you get to pocket my $60. But you just lost a customer forever.

They don't sell alcohol so all of their profits are from dishes, which are absolutely spectacular. We had something a kin to an empanada, which was made with beef deep fried, but the crust was very white and very flavorful. The server gave me a side dip which added some spice to the meal however, before putting it on, I ate some without the dip and it was very flavorful. Potatoes, rice and beans are a large part of Peruvian cuisine all of which I tasted here all of which were very, very good. We got basically a sampler tray which included ceviche beef, chicken, and a potato bean combination, which was just wonderful. The waiter was kind enough to point it out to us and I'm glad he did because it was a great overview of what Peruvian food is. Since I'm not familiar with the cuisine rather than spend a great deal of time addressing it what I'm going to tell you is, it is a wonderful restaurant, the service is equally wonderful, BYOB and enjoy yourself. I was so pleased that I brought my family back for dinner last night. The atmospheres was warm, welcoming, and full of positive energy. It was wonderful to see the original owner back doing what he does best. The food was absolutely outstanding. I am Cuban so I should know. Every dish was fresh, flavorful and prepared to meet the standards. Everything we ordered was delicious, and the service made us feel right at home. We are beyond thrilled to have them back and have some real Cuban cuisine in the neighborhood. I got mofongo with camarones, the shrimp were good size, the mofongo was too dry but I'm not sure if it's supposed to be like that, I noticed they serve the mofongo not in the traditional way, which is like in a cup shape the protein in the middle, here they serve the mofongo in the shape of a small cake and the protein on the side.
