    Grease dump

I watched an employee of this establishment walk out the back of the building and dump grease into the grass which is part of the creek. They have a grease pit closer to the building than their dump site. It's a disgusting mistreatment of Texas nature.

Definitely a great spot for lunch! New office location for me means new restaurants to try! I came here with my coworker and we ordered the Carne asada. He doesn't like beef but they made an exception and got him a plate with chicken instead. Nice! We both had the mirinda orange soda drink and it was good. The service was strange as we weren't immediately seated, but when we were seated everything was spot on. The Carne Asada was delicious! Beef tasted fresh and cooked properly. I was happy. For dessert we had the horchatta? drink. Good choice! If you are in the area and are looking for a really good spot for lunch, definitely check this location out!

It was my first time trying Honduran food in Houston and it was amazing, I had the "Carne Asada" it was delicious it came with plantains, avocado, cabbage and chimichurri. Definitely I'll come back to try the Baleadas for breakfast and the "Sopa de Caracol". I took to go the "Zambos" (spicy plantain chips) for my cousin and the "Banana Tropical".

Awesome Honduran food! Husband ordered the grilled chicken plate with rice/beans and the plantains. The seasoning on the chicken was delicious and I ordered the Mariscos soup, which was unlike any soup I've ever had. It's got crab, fish, shrimp, and other ingredients like coconut milk. This place is very unassuming and you might just drive right past if you aren't looking for it carefully.

I think this place is under appreciated because not many people were here during lunch. Most likely it's because it's in an odd location and the only hint of its existence is a Honduran flag flying near the entrance to this strange looking building. You'll have to have a good eye while passing by, be referred by someone, or specifically search for Honduran food on yelp to find this place. Don't be shy to give this place a try. It's actually a small and very neat restaurant. I tried seafood soup. It came with rice and two small tortillas. It was pretty awesome. Made with coconut milk, its like curry but not like Indian or Thai curry. It had a chunk of crab, some shrimp, banana, and other vegetables in it. (Insert smile face emoticon with hearts for eyes here.) This place is legit. I will be back to try some more things. Order at the counter and pay when you're done. Prices are very reasonable.

My boyfriend is from Roatan and we've been searching for an authentic dining experience. We came here and they did not disappoint! Everything was delicious!

I've never tried a pupusa and my boyfriend ordered pork (chicharron) for us and they were so delicious! They give you a container of some kind of cabbage topping and some red sauce to dump over the pupusas, make a big mess and chow down! He also tore up a fried tilapia but that's not my cup of tea. I got a chicken empanada to try and it was different from the Mexican ones I grew up on but delicious and mustard-y! Try it! It's so cheap you can try different items.

Delicious! Short of going to the north coast in Honduras, this makes me feel so at home food wise! A must in the area.

I'm from LA and I come to visit my family often. Unfortunately they don't go out much but this place caught my eye every time I would drive down Highway 6. After my third visit to Texas I finally got them to come with me. Hands down this place was amazing. Being Honduran, the minute I saw sopa de caracol I had to get it and it was everything I wanted. The wait for the food was bad but the food made up for it. I cannot believe my family has never been here (they live 5 minutes away from it) I am going to miss it once my vacation ends. 'Till next time : )

This place is decent. I had the steak which was well cooked and tostones. If I order from them again I will probably order something else. The food was not horrible by any means, I've just had better. With that, i wouldn't discourage anyone from checking this place out.

Carne asada. The meat is sooo delicious.

As a Native Honduran I am sooo impressed with the food. Delicious. Pleasant atmosphere also. Its located in between a furniture store and a church. Definitely coming back soon. I had the carne asada.

Seriously ... this is supposed to be a baleada... this is barely smeared with beans and crema...

The space itself is small and cozy, but they also offer outdoor seating if you want to enjoy the nice weather. We were able to seat ourselves right away. They had light Spanish music playing in the background, which added a nice touch and made the atmosphere feel like a little escape to Colombia. We started with fresh juices. I ordered the sugarcane juice and really enjoyed it. It wasn't overly sweet in taste, even though sugarcane naturally has a high sugar content. My friend ordered the coconut lemonade. I tried a sip, and it was perfect -- especially for warm weather. You could clearly taste both the coconut and the lemonade, which blended together really well. By the time we arrived it was a bit late for breakfast, so we decided to try lunch instead. We both ordered the Caribbean tacos, and let me tell you -- they did not disappoint. The greens paired beautifully with the tacos, and the sauce was perfectly balanced and topped with sesame seeds. The pickled onions added an extra layer of flavor that really brought everything together. Whenever I'm back in town, I will definitely return. My friend already said she plans to come back to try the breakfast next time.

The food was delicious, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere felt genuinely welcoming. The owners were there and made it clear this is truly a family-run place, which added a personal touch to the whole experience.
