I am really happy with the work done. I am remodeling my bathroom and needed vanity lighting replaced as well as a lighted medicine cabinet hardwired and installed. The first electrician came out and wasn't aware of what work was being done and had to cancel since it is a two-man job. Anson was able to reschedule for the very NEXT day and had 2 great guys (Daniel and Dave) come out and they did a wonderful job, quickly and at what seemed like a very reasonable cost. I will definitely work with them again. read more

Needed an outlet installed for a new toilet with electronic bidet. Submitted request for quote. David was the first to respond in less than 30min. Provided a very competitive quote. This installation required drywall removal and repair. Anson was the only electric company contacted that offered drywall patch service after the install. Took about a week after the instal for the drywall to be patched but overall very very pleased with their work and professionalism. read more

Amazing to work with! Great quote, super friendly staff, and they were on time. Couldn't have had a better experience. I've already recommended Anson Electric to my family and they will be my first call from now on. read more

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Anson. Matt was extremely helpful in the initial walkthrough and quote process and was able to answer every question I had. Oscar was our technician for the install and did an incredible job. He made sure to clarify any questions he had with me ahead of time, and went above and beyond to do the job right. Thanks, Anson Electric, and especially Oscar and Matt! read more

I always have a great experience with Anson. They are very very responsive with scheduling and follow up. And the techs are quick, nice and knowledgeable. Had Daniel C. today and he was great. Highly recommend Anson. read more

Anson Electric is the greatest. I have called them twice and both times they provided a quote before and appointment was made. Once the quote was accepted the appointment was made. They followed up with reminder a text and the electrician arrived at the appointed time. The work is completed quickly and to my request. Being on time sounds like a silly thing to be excited about, but it seems for some folks it is not possible to arrive at the appointment time. So this is a big deal for me. read more

I sent in a request for a quote for a large fan to be installed on a beam about 16 feet high. I contacted a handful of companies that said they couldn't do the installation because it was too high for them. David responded to me promptly and was able to send out his tech, Matt, to give us a quote. As soon as we confirmed, Matt and Jose came out a week later to do the installation. They both did an awesome job, were communicative and answered any questions we had. Amanda, who coordinated scheduling was very communicative throughout the entire process as well! Overall, Anson Electric was very professional, reliable and did great work for a reasonable price. I highly recommend! read more

We contacted Anson Electric to replace an outdoor light fixture. Hector did a great job with putting up our new lighting. We would contact them again for any electrical work. read more

They did a great job, everything worked perfectly, and final price was per the quote. I would definitely use them again.

Anson electric has always been professional and honest. It is very hard in today's day and age to find someone you can trust when it comes to electricians. Lots of my past experience involves people who lied to me and did not do what they promised. With Anson they identify the issue right away and give you an honest quote and they do not jerk you around. I recommend them to family and friends, and now I am recommending them to all yelpers. read more

Install was done in garage within three hours and appears successful. The company was very communicative and only minor mixup on the arrival time. Would use again. read more

Matt and Daniel were easy going and super cool. They installed 2 fans and a handful of recessed lights and switches. The price for the services and these guys were great. I've always hesitated to have folks working in and around the house. This was a good experience and will used this service again if I want to brighten up downstairs. read more

Jeremy who installed the EV charger to the garage was super kind and professional. He made sure to prep the site appropriately, taped all of my valuable furniture and covered the flooring properly. There had to be some drywall damage done for the project but David was able to pencil me in to the schedule so that drywall appt was the day after the EV charger project which worked out perfectly. Drywall guy was also awesome and did a good job on matching the texture of my wall, all I had to do was to paint! Matt (was the estimator and also the helper for Jeremy on the day of the project) was also super nice to work with! Jeremy and Matt both made sure to keep me posted of the status of the project and also what procedures they are going to perform. This was a full day project for the team given the little complexity of it but it went smooth. There was some hiccups at the very beginning when I first reached out to Anson for a quote. I didn't hear back for long for my estimate related questions, however David was apologetic enough to ensure I received everything I needed. Overall, the project was a little bit on the pricier side but the team earned it with their professionalism! read more

Lights and garage door opener went out in garage and laundry room -- no breakers were tripped so I couldn't figure it out. Called Anson Electric based on Yelp reviews, very pleasant woman (blanking on her name -- Teresa maybe?) scheduled me for same day service, then called to say that the electrician finished a prior job early and would be showing up an hour early. Super professional and friendly electrician (again blanking on name -- Scott maybe?) quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue -- I highly recommend Anson Electric. read more

Anson needs better communication between their staff and customers. When I was quoted work, I was told that there was dry wall repair included and to have paint ready. But when the dry wall repair person came, they did not receive instructions to paint. They called the office to clarify, but no one answered. I've been calling the office for weeks to clarify and have not received an answer. On top of everything, I was asked for full payment on the day of the installation, even before drywall repairs were done. I'm tired of living with my furniture displaced, waiting for an answer. read more

Great communication, fast turnaround time and quickly completed the job. 100% would hire again.

Last month, we reached out to Anson Electric to install 34 canned lights and a recessed TV wall outlet. Our job scope shifted several times before the work happened, but David and Teresa were very patient with us. David quoted the costs over Yelp, and Teresa was great in helping us schedule the work. The electricians (Joel, Alfonso, and others) were SO amazing. They recommended how many lights should go in each room after seeing the rooms in person, measured exactly where the lights would go so they were evenly spaced (the lights weren't crooked/misaligned like we've seen in other houses), and gave us a light cone to take to Home Depot to make sure we bought bulbs that would fit. The team was very considerate, masked, and they worked overtime to get our lights installed on a tight schedule, even in a tricky room that didn't have attic access. At the end, there were some miscommunications with their drywall repair subcontractor, but David responded very quickly and had the sub come back out the next day. Our painter left behind some ceiling paint, so it was easy for us to paint over the drywall repair afterwards. We can't even notice there used to be holes! We had an amazing experience with Anson Electric, and it is so nice to have these beautiful lights throughout our home. read more

What was supposed to be a day thing did turn into over a week but still happy to leave a good review. The electricians were competent and I'm confident in their work. Jeremy and Matt were great, thoughtful, respectful, and hard working guys who made sure the job was completed in a timely manner. This was my 2nd job from Anson because I like their work and professionalism in the first job that I decided to go back. If I have anymore electrical jobs, I will make sure to go back to them. Highly recommend! read more

Wonderful service. Installed my EV charger efficiently. They were able to give me an accurate quote on Yelp using photos.

This is a longggg overdue review! Anson electric has done all of the electric work in the condo I purchased last year. From replacing existing ceiling lights/fans to installing (from scratch) brand new ceiling fans and pot lights. Daniel has completed all of the work to perfection. They have a separate drywall guy, David, who is also amazing. They are prompt, get the work done in a timely manner, and clean up afterwards. And the communication from David (a different David, lol) and Teresa is great. I highly recommend them! :) read more

I was so happy to have Anson Electric installed my chandelier. They are very responsible since the first call. They arrived on time with mask and shoe cover. After checking the condition, they set up the ladder very quickly. It was not easy to put a ladder next to the stairs and need to be very stable for a 20 feet high ceiling. But they have done that very professionally and carefully. They are very patient when we ask them to adjust the light positions. After installation, they wipe the chandelier making more clean. The whole process went very smooth. read more

Had a dryer outlet was bad and David diagnosed the issue quickly and replaced it. He was very polite.

We had an electrical panel upgrade from 100 amps to 200 amps. We are very grateful and blessed to have gone with this company. I'll tell you why: There was a discrepancy on the SDG&E service order for our upgrade and Dave took the initiate and called SDG&E to resolve the issue and proceed with panel upgrade. Joel, Eddie, and Jose installed new ground material to the main water line and replaced an electrical panel that was decades old and had half a dozen safety hazards. They were in and out in 2 days including getting SDG&E to turn off and on the electrical supply. This new panel also resolved a bad breaker issue we were having with our furnace. This team is quick, efficient, and easy to communicate. We'll be contacting them for further complex electrical issues we have with our home. Highly highly recommend! I will be passing on the word! read more

The power went out in half our upstairs. We first tried going through our home warranty company which was a huge fail. I found Anson on Yelp and messaged them. They called me within 30 minutes and I had an appointment for the following week. The tech, Jose, was right on time and had the job done in an hour and the price was right. We'll definitely use them in the future. They are polite and professional and know how to run a business. read more

We had a good expirience with AE. Project was completed on time with good schedule. We are satisfied with outcome.

On June 16, 2023, Daniel quickly and professionally replaced my electrical outlet. Thank you. Unfortunately , he was unable to fix the LED strip lighting problem. Said it needs to be replaced and would get me a quote for that. I paid on a visa credit card. Anson Electric contacted me after Daniel left, stating that the transaction failed. I gave them another credit card. They charged that card. I found amount later that the initial charge on the visa ACTUALLY DID GO THROUGH. So I was charged twice. Spoke with Amanda to refund the charge to my visa. She stated she would get it resolved by the end of business today. Still haven't heard from back. How hard is it to issue a refund? And I still don't have a quote for the LES strip lights. Hoping to get this resolved. UPDATE: Anson (Teresa) refunded me the double charge and sent a nice apology. Appreciate the prompt and accurate communication from Teresa. Upgraded my review to 4 stars. read more

Well we have had a broken fan for almost a year. Our electrician, Daniel, immediately diagnosed the problem, gave us options and proceeded to buy the necessary parts and got it done. He also installed an entirely brand new outlet (those giant ones- is it 210 or 220 volts? Clearly I am not an electrician) in our garage for my husbands new tools. We appreciated that he knew what he was doing and got it done efficiently. Also- he asked to use our restroom and I was so embarrassed bc we had a broken flusher... but this morning we noticed it was fixed!! What a nice little touch on top of doing an amazing job. Trying to remember why we hadn't called an electrician soon as now. read more

After an extensive search for an electrical contractor to remove, flip and replace an old subpanel, I decided to move forward with Anson Electric. The owner, David, was extremely prompt and responsive to all of my questions, Teresa in the office was very easy to work with and Matt, the assigned electrician, was personable, professional and highly skilled. In addition, to installing the subpanel brand of my choosing, Matt also installed a companion whole house surge protector consistent with National Electrical Code compliance. I feel confident that my home is now electrically safe and free of the potential hazards of my previous near 50-year-old Zinsco subpanel. Thank you Anson Electric for the exceptional job performed and for doing it all at very competitive price! read more

Anson Electric did a fantastic job of installing our Tesla wall charger. And our house presented a special challenge. Matt came over ahead of schedule and was very pleasant. I showed him the room we wanted to move a ceiling fan from one side of the room to the center.
