Well we have had a broken fan for almost a year. Our electrician, Daniel, immediately diagnosed the problem, gave us options and proceeded to buy the necessary parts and got it done. He also installed an entirely brand new outlet (those giant ones- is it 210 or 220 volts? Clearly I am not an electrician) in our garage for my husbands new tools. We appreciated that he knew what he was doing and got it done efficiently. Also- he asked to use our restroom and I was so embarrassed bc we had a broken flusher... but this morning we noticed it was fixed!! What a nice little touch on top of doing an amazing job. Our gas stove was dying after 20+ years and we decided to make the switch from gas to electric and needed a higher amp outlet for the electrical stove. Anson was the only one that would come out and give us an estimate and within the next week we had our new stove up and running. Good Value for a licensed, bonded, and insured electrician... I used Anson for about as large of an electrical job as it gets, a whole home rewire and panel upgrade/replacement. I got several quotes, and originally went with Anson because they seemed to be a good value (ultimately not my cheapest quote) but when David came in, he gave me a good feeling that they weren't a fly-by-night contractor and they were licensed, bonded, and insured all at a good price. It took their workers about 2 1/2 weeks to finish the wiring work and panel upgrade and all of them were really pleasurable to work with. They were informative and respectful and handled everything I asked for. I am glad I used them because of the complicated nature of working with SDG&E and the City of San Diego on panel permits and new service pulls. Will definitely call them for future jobs. read more

I hired Anson Electric to replace a old sub-panel in my condo. A few months later I was selling my condo, and during the buyers inspection, they found that none of the outlets had a ground and the GFCI outlets were not working. It took Anson 2 days to repair the error, which was the panel did not have any of the ground wires run into it! Also, Anson Electric shared the information about all the work with any realtor that called them without asking me. Even after I talked to them about not sharing information about the work, they sent my invoice to a realtor. Every appointment I had with them, they came late, every appointment! Great experience x2 - Highly recommended. Coordination with David and Griselda for site survey, quotes and scheduling went well. Onsite team (Jose, Alonzo and Joel) were courteous, professional and efficient. We partnered with them to replace recessed lighting, replace smoke detectors, and install light fixtures (chandeliers, sconces, pendent). Of note, a chandelier with many crystals was successfully installed in a room with a high ceiling and an off-center starting position. This effort required moving the location of the chandelier to the center of the room before install. The end result is pictured in this review. Will definitely work with this team in the future. Not only that, but the woman who answered the phone listened to what was wrong and walked me through some troubleshooting steps I hadn't thought of, actually helped me to figure out what was wrong, and I was able to fix the problem because of it. She could have just not listened to me, and sent someone out to collect a troubleshooting fee, for a simple fix, but she helped me instead, and if the rest of the company runs with the same dedication to helping their customers, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. I needed a quote to have a 220V outlet moved, a pump 110V cord reconfigured, and a DPDT light switch wiring checked and corrected. Instead of someone arriving to give me a quote, two electricians arrived to do the work without a quote. I had scheduled my time for a quote that I expected to take half an hour, not stand around for two hours while the work was being done. That was not what I asked for. I again asked for a quote, so the technician called the office and relayed my requests for a quote. It was two electricians, for two hours ea, $380.00 I decided that was not acceptable. I sent them away. I was pretty sure it was two man hours work at most. (I have some experience with construction and repair.) Another electrician was able to do the work himself in two hours. read more

I hired this company and they came out and told me the breaker was broken. Do to the part not being on hand hey we're unable to fix the problem. I ended ended up ordering breaker after a week it was delivered by Lowe's. I replaced the parts and contacted them again because the breaker kept tripping. They came back and they looked at the problem and it was fixed by moving a few wires by the pool pump. Didn't charge me because they said it should have been fixed the first time.
