I messaged Dave at 8:38 am Sunday morning through Yelp. I knew they were closed weekends and was hoping I would get a respose Monday morning. I was wrong. It took exactly 4 minutes ( I know...shocker). At 8:42 am he messaged back to ask a couple of questions. We arranged for him to come by Monday at 3:30. He showed up at exactly 3:30 and by 4:24 my problem was solved. He was as pleasant as he was professional and knowledgeable. Everyone should have such work ethics. We will be using him again in the near future for other work and will refer him to everyone we know. Couldn't be happier with the experience from start to finish. read more

Would highly recommend Dave and team for all your electrical needs. We recently needed new outlets installed along with changing out of the old. THE BEST!! I've needed Anson Electric's services for a couple of projects this year and I can't say enough good things about David and his team. David gets back to you quickly to go over the issue(s) and to set up an appointment. Anson Electric is honest, reliable, timely, patient and very reasonable. No job is too small. I've been thru a number of electricians over the years and Anson Electric is far and away the best. This is the only company I will use for any electrical problems that I may have in the future. read more

Dave came out today and fixed our faulty outlet that has been off for MONTHS! I don't know why I didn't call him sooner. He was very professional and courteous and gave us some good advice on breakers and other electrical stuff. He even gave us quotes for other projects that we might do in the future. The BEST part was that he charged me LESS than what he originally quoted! I gave him a tip for doing that and because he answered all our questions. I highly recommend him. read more

Joe did excellent job installing my ceiling fan. Great guy, friendly and did clean up after done. Thanks Joe

This is a late review from back in March, but I thought I should review Dave as he was very professional and reasonable. Prior to contacting Dave, we had another electrician come out to look at a few things, one of them being our jacuzzi breaker box - he took one look at the jacuzzi and breaker box, and without laying a finger on anything, said it was a problem with the jacuzzi. At this point, we just wanted him out of our house, so we didn't push the issue and contacted a jacuzzi tech who came out and said that, lo and behold, it was the breaker box. I contacted Dave who quickly responded with a reasonable quote and completed the job without any issue. His professionalism, promptness, and competence were very much appreciated after dealing with a couple of bad, very unprofessional electricians. Should we need an electrician in the future (but fingers crossed we won't), we'll be contacting Dave for sure. read more

Prompt & affordable service. We've added David to our vendor list. Will do business with him again! read more

I recently sent an inquiry for an estimate to get my 30 amp 240v dryer Outlet swapped out for a 30 amp 120v RV Outlet. Anson responded very quickly and said they could be out within one or two days, he came out the second day and was completely done in less than 20 minutes. Great customer service and it was a pleasure working with them! read more

Great customer service, good work, on time, in budget! David and his crew are amazing.

Dave helped install a ceiling fan in my house with vaulted ceilings and a Lutron dimmer switch for the fan. His professionalism was evident in how he handled the work with ease, and he was extremely knowledgeable as well. He worked very quickly, accommodated times when I was available and took care to finish the work with detail. His rates are very affordable for the service he provides, and I highly recommend him for any electric job, and I will definitely get his help with any future work at home! read more

Anson Electric was the first to respond to our quote far before anyone else. The owner spoke back and forth with me via text messaging answering alot of questions I had about getting power wired up for a large appliance from China. They were on time, clean cut, professional. The work is great and outlets are working as expected. Can't really ask for much more! read more

Dave came to my house to do a ton of fixture replacements and socket changes. He was on time and super respectful. He cleaned everything and went above and beyond to make everything fit and look nice. He was knowledgeable about everything I asked about. He was extremely kind and the best part is that he didn't make me feel silly when I didn't know something. As a female head of household, I didn't feel like he was selling me a line of goods or taking advantage. His prices were AWESOME. I had 3 people come out and he was the cheapest and honestly the one that my gut told me was the most down to earth! I will hire him again in the future and I highly recommend him to everyone! He also got back to me quickly while others took days. Just an all around fantastic young man with a great work ethic! Thanks Dave! read more

Dave repaired the main circuit breaker on my home. Very knowledgeable and professional. Even gave me recommendations for troubleshooting the breaker before having to replace it. This made him stand out from other electricians on here that will bill you for identifying the issue. I Plan on using him for any future electrical repairs on my home! read more

David reached out to me to fix the situation. He's clearly motivated by integrity. I can't imagine that he agrees with my assessment of the situation, but he acted with tact and integrity, and ultimately made things right. Things could have gone better, but sometimes you just have to roll with the punches, and by doing so, he regained my respect. Don't hesitate to call him for your work. read more

I'm so glad I decided to call Dave! He came out after normal business hours to address our concerns, which we really appreciated! It took him little time to replace our old ceiling fan/light switch and address our blinking lights issue (which scared me after Googling it). He did some troubleshooting and made some suggestions and recommendations but did not try to sell us anything we did not need. Which he easily could have done given the sensitive situation. We will be calling him soon for other projects! read more

We called another electrician on a Monday and asked if he would be able to come out and wire up a bathroom fan for us, as it had more wire than the original, and I suspected we might have to run some additional romex in the wall. He told us that he was fairly busy that week, but would fit us in. Thursday came around, and we hadn't heard from him, so I looked up another electrician on Yelp and I seen that Anson Electric had good reviews so I gave them a call. I spoke with David who is the owner operator, and I explained what I needed, and told him we had company coming in that Friday. He looked at his schedule, it was pretty full but he said he could come by later in the evening Thursday night. I told him that if it would help him out he could come by the next day sometime before 2 pm, he said that would be much better for him, and he could come at 8 am. He showed up exactly at 8, took him 20 minutes and he only charged $80. For anybody that knows, that's a fantastic price, most guys would have charged that or more just for the drive alone. Dave is very professional looking, clean cut, dressed in appropriate clean attire, and well spoken. I highly recommend this young man, and I will definitely be using him for all future work, and giving his number out to friends. read more

David from Anson Electric is our new go to electrician! After experiencing an electrical issue in our condo that cut power to the bathroom, we had a different electrician come out initially who told us we needed a whole new panel (to the tune of about $2K!). We then had David come out and look at the problem who quickly diagnosed the real issue as a loose wire connection to one of the outlets which caused some minor damage to it, he replaced the outlet and restored power to the bathroom. The entire bill including materials was approximately the same as the service call fee of 1st electrician who didn't even diagnose the problem! Thank you David/Anson Electric! read more

After a less than positive experience with another electrician, I began searching yelp and BBB reviews. So blessed to find Dave and his crew. Dave came out to give me a quote on electrical repairs and updates needed on a recently purchased condo from the 1970's. His estimates were clear and understandable. Example: installation of can light: $135. Add a plug to the stove: $35. This was a much different experience from the last electrician who refused to give me a quote and began to complain about the effort my repairs would entail. Dave was direct and gave me a proposal via email. The work was completed as promised. Thank you Dave and team! You've restored my faith in humanity. read more

Dave Dawson was recommended by our neighbors because they were very happy with his work. Dave returned our call quickly and we set a date immediately. Dave demonstrated knowledge and skill during the time he replaced two outdoor lights, and was professional. We now consider Dave to be our number one electrician on our home projects. read more

Our overhead kitchen light unexpectedly died on us. My mom needs it to light up her painting area, so we needed to get it fixed ASAP. I found Anson Electric here on Yelp, and since they had great reviews and a quick response time for quotes, I contacted them and explained the issue. He responded quickly and was able to diagnose the problem based on my description and quoted a fair price. Best of all he was able to come fix it that same afternoon. I wasn't home when he came by, but my mom says he was a very nice young man and very professional, and did great work. He also answered her questions about and gave an estimate for some electrical work we want to do down the road. Now our light is good as new and the whole thing was about as easy and painless as can be. We'll definitely be using him again! read more
