I called Anson, quickly received a reasonable quote, and we scheduled an appointment to do the work. He arrived promptly did a great job, and left the place cleaner than when he came. I asked if he had time to look at a few other issues and he had time and addressed those issues too. I am very happy with the experience from beginning to end and recommend Anson for your electric issues without any hesitation. read more

David was on time, accommodating, skilled, and importantly, priced well. I've already told him we'd be using him again and you wouldn't be disappointed to have him do your electrical work, either. Good guy...a welcome relief in this world of contractors we've had the misfortune of dealing with and having to pay for slipshod work. David is one of the good guys. read more

David Dawson is the best electrician ever. Used his website to book appointment online. He came during the window of time provided, was extremely professional, fixed both a fan and ran new power for a thermostat. He was quick, efficient and reasonably priced. I would use him again! read more

Finally! A super-competent, honest and fair electrician! David Anson was prompt, cool and somehow managed to sniff out the problem almost immediately. The power was out to about a third of the house and it turned out to be do to a faulty wire in one specific socket. After checking all of the breakers (and resetting one troublesome GFI) he found they were all functioning properly. He came into the house and somehow focused in on the exact outlet that was causing the problem on the first try! And we've got a lot of outlets but he zoomed right to the defective one :-) I won't say it's magic, probably just got lucky, but whatever, it was fixed in record time for a VERY reasonable price and the power is back on! I plan to use Anson Electric in the future and you should, too! read more

Unfortunately no one showed up at our scheduled estimate time tonight. :( Super disappointed, as the customer service at first was awesome. I had high hopes. read more

The service provided by Anson Electric was good. Technician was professional came in and went to work on installing an extension pole for existing ceiling fan. After completing install he checked the fan to ensure it was running properly. Fan would only work on low speed so he identified the problem and fixed it now fan is running great and the cost was exactly what he quoted. I will definitely call Anson Electric for electrical issues in the future. read more

This is a long overdue review give that they have been to service us three times: for an assortment of recessed lights, installing ceiling fixtures, fixing some switches around the house, installing exterior lights and extensions, and most recently doing some re-wiring of our kitchen to accommodate a new oven. Honestly, everything is excellent. David is very responsive and their turnaround time is reasonable for an unbeatable cost. Matt and eddy were both polite and quick with their installations; they were careful with our hardwood floors and took great pride in making their work perfect. Will definitely rely on them in the future. read more

David promptly gave me a quote faster than any of his competitors on a weekend, which in my opinion is how business is earned these days. Based upon my problem he was able to diagnose the issue ahead of even being asked to take on the job rather than indicate a fee just to come out and check things out and then start racking up fee after fee (which had been my experience with other electricians). He was able to fit the job into his schedule within 1 business day, showed up on time and did an efficient and excellent job. His card will be on our fridge and he's earned my business for anything that comes up in the future. read more

David did several electric works for me. He worked good and fast and the rates were very reasonable (the lowest among all quotes). Would use him again and would recommend! read more

David was the first to response to a quote request out of ten electricians. The quote seemed reasonable so I decided to give Anson Electric the job to install four ceiling fans and six recess LED lights. Matt was on time as scheduled and finished the job in two days. To me, what really separates a good company from the rest of their competition is the service and willingness to go the extra mile after the job is completed. About two weeks after Matt had finished the job, I started painting one of the bedrooms and discovered the ceiling fan and all the outlet in that room wasn't working properly. I texted David about the problem and he sent Matt back out to take a look of the issue. Come to find out, the ground to hot was working fine, but there was no power from the neutral wire. Since the condo's electrical consist of numerous daisy chaining, it was difficulty to locate the origination of the issue. Matt borrowed one of the neutral wiring from a nearby recess light and switched out a GFCI breaker with a regular one. That seemed to solve the issue. I am hoping, fingers crossed, that everything works as it should from here on forward. But I really appreciated the fact that Anson Electric stood by their work. I would definitely recommend them to friends and would absolutely use them again. read more

Sent in a request here on yelp. Received a call within 5 minutes. Set an appointment and had repairs done for a very reasonable price. Dave was awesome. Main circuit breaker at my elderly father's home died and needed to be replaced. Dave gave me a quote over Yelp, found the part, and had it fixed within 2 hours of my first message. On the hottest weekend of the summer, Dave got the power (and AC) back on so I did not have to move my father to a temporary place due to the heat. Unbelievable service to complete the job while multiple other electricians did not respond to my request, or could not commit to fixing the problem until after the weekend. read more

Have to say that Dave came thru today for my mom. She was quoted by another company for unnecessary fixes and major overhaul on her main box etc for a great deal of money. My mom worried told me and i found Dave here and had her call. Her experience was great! He fixed all that was necessary and nothing more. We will use and recommend him again...thanks Dave for not taking advantage of her, job well done! Two thumbs up! :) read more

I am blown away with how dependable, skilled, responsive and fairly priced Anson Electric is. I had recessed lighting and a fan installed in a vaulted ceiling that turned out beautifully! The process started by David coming out to take at look at the area where we wanted to have the work done and shortly after, I received a very reasonable quote for the work. The quote was inclusive of the anticipated drywall/texturing repair and touch up painting. This was a comprehensive detail that I did not receive from any other company I requested information from, and I was grateful to have all that information up front. On the work was to begin, David and Matt showed up right on time, not a second later. Timeliness would be a theme throughout this entire process. Matt, was very conscientious of our belongings and took care to make sure everything was covered and protected before he began working on the ceiling. When he discovered that more holes were going to be needed than anticipated to fish the electrical wires from can light to can light, he calmly and clearly explained what he would have to do and, I kid you not, was up on a ladder with his arms over his head working NON-STOP for something close to 8 hours. This guy did not stop until the job was done. I was so impressed with his ethic and dedication. The contact that Dave set up for drywall repair was also impressive, he too was always on time and clear with what he intended to do and the work looks great. To finish the paint repair, Matt came over on a Saturday to take care of it and because my husband and I were so dense about paint, he wasn't able to do the touch ups that day but OFFERED TO COME BACK AGAIN when we had new paint!!!!!!!! I am genuinely impressed with this company and its employees and can confidently say that I would recommend them for any project! Thanks Dave, Matt and Pedro-we are so happy with your work and will be contacting you for more in the future! read more
