Absolutely fantastic experience having Anson Electric install a new light switch and two new outlets on our patio. I communicated with David via email over the course of a few days to discuss our project, the price, and scheduling. Both Eddie and Alonso, the technicians who were sent out to our house to perform the work, were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They even came up with a better plan on how to execute the job so that no conduit would be needed and everything could instead be installed inside the wall, thus resulting in a far more aesthetically pleasing look. Again, we couldn't be more thrilled to have found Anson Electric and we will definitely be using them again in the future for any and all of our electric needs. read more

I don't try to mess with electrical stuff because I know that doing it wrong can result in safety issues. Luckily, I found Anson Electric! I've used them twice now for small electrical work around the house. They are extremely professional, nice, and fast! They give me peace of mind knowing the electrical work is done professionally and safely. They will be my first call for all electrical needs from now on. read more

The owner, goes above and beyond to make sure the highest quality and standards are met. They installed about 13 cans of LED recessed lighting, new ceiling fan. The price was very competitive with other estimates I got . There were a few minor discrepancies with the work that was done, he came on his time off and got it fixed !!Class act. read more

When I needed a solution to a grounding issue in my 1950's home, Anson Electric was there to provide it quickly, with a high level of professionalism, and at a reasonable cost. I consulted a few well-regarded electricians nearby, but Dave stood out by taking the initiative to meet me in person, scope out my problem himself, and offer a sensible solution at a reasonable cost. Within a few days, Matt came by to affect the fix while keeping noise to a minimum -- important with a toddler and a senior citizen in the house! He even patched up the hole he needed to make to a wall so he could route wires. Matt's work was complete: clean and on-time. I was relieved to have my issue resolved in a refreshingly straightforward manner. The next time I need electrical work done, Anson Electric definitely be the first company I call. read more

David's team is first class. We had a major renovation in Alpine which we were glad to have his wisdom and guidance.

Quick yelp response when I needed an electrician to do a requested repair when i was under contract. Professional, quick to respond back to questions, and decent prices is why I'm having Anson Electric to come to my new house to look into getting my electric home car charger installed. read more

Prompt and professional. Finished the job in record time. Will definitely use them again.

Dave was great! I made an appointment and he was out the next day. He was early and I accidentally left the house forgetting about my appointment. He waited and waited for me to get back home and then came in, fixed the problem with my outlet and left within 15 minutes. He was so friendly and professional. I was very happy with his work and would recommend him to anyone who needed an electrician. I'm happy to write this review about Dave and Anson Electric. read more

These guys are the best. They responded to all communication very promptly and were clear and professional every time. When the work day came up they showed up right on time and wasted no time getting started. They finished quickly, checked a few times with me to make sure I was satisfied, and left no mess at all. It honestly doesn't get any better. read more

So happy with Anson Electric! Dave was at my condo when he said he would be and had the problem fixed in under an hour! I have dealt with so many shady electricians and companies trying to over-charge and make a mountain out of a molehill! Not the case with Dave! I will use them again and recommend it to anyone wanting an honest, kind, helpful electrician! Thank you for your awesome service! read more

We contracted David to perform some trouble shooting on the electrical system of a 1950's home we own. Usually I can take care of most electrical issue myself. Unfortunately I was over-seas in Korea when the work had to be performed so I was unable to be there when David did the work. All our communication was spot on and David took care of everything. When I returned from overseas and inspected his work it was correct and exactly what we agreed upon. I would recommend David to anyone who needs an honest and reasonable electrician. I would hire David to in a heart beat to take care of any electrical issues that I could not take care of myself. read more

I was so happy with the job Eddie, from Anson Electric, did. He installed three LED cans over my computer area and switched two older ceiling cans to match the new ones. Eddie was so careful measuring the location of the cans to be installed and he really aced it! I especially appreciated how careful he was to keep the job area clean. I also appreciate that he wore a mask and booties during this time of Covid. I recommend your company highly. read more

Installed and wired two new overhead ceiling fans and patched/retextured holes. Couldn't have asked for a more professional group of guys. Arrived on time, cleaned up after, checked before/after job to confirm exactly what I wanted. Prices were competitive especially with the wall repair included, it was still better priced than other quotes I received without wall repair and texturing. I will definitely use them in the future if needed. I even got the business card for the drywall repair company directly in the event I need any more drywall repair in the future. All in all, professionals. Thank you Anson electric and David the owner for setting everything up and being responsive in all inquires. read more

Dave and his crew did a variety of electric repairs and upgrades at our new house in La Mesa and the work was excellent. We will have them back for more work soon. read more

Dave and his team are absolutely amazing! They are trustworthy, honest, and hard working. I was having electrical issues from hell and my house was pitch dark because the lights went out. He used his headlight and started troubleshooting right away. He fixed everything for an amazing price, and I am truly thankful for his hard work. read more

Dave and Matt were GREAT! Dave got back to my yelp message within minutes, came to do the estimate and quoted really reasonably! The best prices and I had quotes from 4 others. Also no one wanted to deal with our Ceiling fan install bc it needed to be wired and a drywall fix. And if they did feel like dealing with it, it was very costly!!! Go with Dave, best pricing and customer service, by far. Recommended to all my neighbors bc we're in a new community and they all went with Dave!! read more

It's scary when something goes out on your home. You never know what you are dealing with. I'm super impressed with Anson Electric. David was absolutely responsive and able to help trouble shoot even before he came out to our house. And when he did come out, our problem got fixed. He is knowledgeable, fair and has integrity. I don't ever feel like he's ripping us off. That's hard to come by, sadly. But I'm glad we found him! The funny thing is that he was the electrician who worked on our other property years ago! Same amazing service. Hasn't changed. read more

Contacted the company by messaging, quick reply with a quote. Mentioned price could be higher depending on situation. They came by same day. They gave us an additional option of having a switch for a light and a switch for the fan. (We had a ceiling fan installed in living room.) They were careful not to make a mess, took less than an hour and kept original price quote. They even gave us additional information about how to use the fan for the winter time. Fast, easy, excellent! read more

Went with Anson after a referral from a friend. Had competitive prices. We had 2 fans installed... and due to some miscommunication, the initial wiring to the switch was not what we intended. Called back Dave and he quickly sent another team back, free of charge, and put in what we wanted. Just wanted to mention of the 4 folks that came on the 2 trips, Matthew was the most diligent, and did a fantastic job. I've used 3-4 different electricians over the last 5 years, and these guys are by far the best, both in terms of quality and price! read more

Showed up on time. Ran a new circuit for me. Did a great job! Courteous and professional.

Dave and his electrician service is amazing!!!! He responded with a fast quote, and when the actual service was less, he adjusted price. Amazing, honest, timely. I have found my go to electrician!!! read more

I had a great experience working with Dave and Matt for a ceiling fan project. Requested quote over yelp and the response was prompt and detailed. Punctual arrival for both in-person quote and the actual work. Matt was very courteous and knowledgeable about the trade. Overall no complains whatsoever which is extremely rare among contractors. Highly recommended! read more

Very friendly, quick and affordable. Had a few outlets that wasnt working. He came 30 mins after calling. Made a quick diagnosis, replaced a few GFCIs. One outlet kept giving us problems. Gave us a few options. In the end he fixed it. Very affordable. Very reasonable. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! read more

David is awesome. He came to my house about 30 minutes after I called. My power was going on and off and I thought my breaker box was bad. He checked it out but had me call SDGE before he did any work. Turns out I had a bad connection to my house. He could have done work and charged me but didn't. He is honest and that means a lot in this day and age. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone and I will be using him for future jobs. read more

Don't even answer their phone. Can't leave a message. ?? Technically i should give a zero rating but not available.

David is professional, on-time, and very reasonable. He worked on Black Friday where other electricians were closed. I recommend David and Anson Electric! read more

Chose this company to do some new outlet installations in my condo based on a positive yelp reputation. They weren't able to come do an estimate for 2 weeks but I scheduled it. Day of they don't call and don't show. I called them an hour after my appointment window and they lied to me telling me they called and texted to confirm the appointment and that maybe they had the wrong number. They read back to me the number they had and it was correct. They just didn't show. I don't like companies who are unprofessional to not show up and then have the nerve to lie to me about why. read more

Had David send his team to our home to hook up four ceiling fans. David was extremely responsive with our questions and happy to work with us. I could not have asked for a better experience and interaction with David. He could not have been a nicer person and his team was great. read more

Dave answered his phone at 6:58 on a saturday morning and told me how to fix my problem. My tankless water heater was down for the cold rainy weekend I thought. In my experience not many companies pick up at that hour. Thanks Dave! read more

Anson Electric was the only company that got back to me in a timely manner. Eddie and his apprentice showed up on time, in masks and wore booties when they were on carpeted areas. They were professional and replaced 8 fluorescent fixtures with ultra thin LED panels, 2 in walk in closets and 6 in the garage. They were kind enough to haul away my old fixtures. They had the best pricing and offered a 10% senior discount! I will definitely use them again for future projects! read more
