I heard about Anson Electric from a friend. I am so happy with this company! Everything went so well. The office staff, Amanda and Teresa took care of setting everything up. They were very kind, efficient and made everything happen quickly. Matt came to our home to give us a quote on installing recessed lights and ceiling fans. The quote was very fair. Moved into a new place and wanted to move a switch a few feet along the same wall outside of a laundry closet, and install an electrical outlet in the bathroom for a bidet. When the electrician came out he explained that due to living in a condo without an attic, installation of the electrical outlet would mean going through the drywall. But when it came to moving the switch, he problem-solved and installed two switches that talk to each other, eliminating the need to cut through the drywall. He also installed a ceiling fan since he had the time, and arrived early. Great, professional service! Will definitely recommend to anyone looking for electrical work. read more

My power went out over the weekend. I tried contacting several contractors but no one would give a quote. They all wanted to come and look around beforehand. I needed an immediate repair, not a remodel estimate. Dave replied to my inquiry and suggested a few things I could try to troubleshoot the problem myself at home. I reached out to Anson Electric needing a 200 amp panel upgrade along with an RV hookup and an additional 50 amp service run for a future laundry room. In addition I needed a high water alarm that I had recently purchased installed on our septic system pump chamber. Matt came out and quoted all the projects. The prices were right in budget and I liked Matt so we decided to give Anson's the job. While in waiting for SDGE and county permits we had Charles come out to do the high water alarm install. He arrived right when expected and we went over what all was involved and Charles assigned parts he needed. Charles didn't seem super excited when he realized he needed to open the pump chamber lid to install the new "float switch". I let him know I had a couple plumbers that would be on site installing plumbing runs if he had questions or any problems. He seems relieved. Charles is a no nonsense hard worker and was just working sort of keeping to himself , meanwhile the plumbers whom have worked on property many times and myself were chatting it up while they worked. A topic finally came around that sparked Charles to join in the conversation. I enjoy when tradespeople cut up and make the work fun. At any rate the high water alarm install went perfectly all tidy like a licensed professional installation it just as I instructed. Charles is an amazing electrician and good sport for taking on such a smelly task. read more
