As a brunch lover, I'm glad to see more & more options for my favorite meal of the day! I first ate at this casual brunch chain years ago in Destin and decided to stop by the new location when I was in Roswell. If it were an option, I'd give 3.5 stars, but I rounded up for 2 reasons: Bloody Mary & mimosa pitchers! Walking in at 1:30, I was worried I was cutting it too close to closing time (2pm), but I warmly greeted and not rushed. When my friendly waitress approached, I ordered a glass of fresh squeezed orange juice ($3.89) and the eggs Benedict with cheese grits ($11.99). Fresh squeezed OJ was so refreshing, I just wish there was more of it - especially for almost $4! The eggs Benedict were also good - standard fare, nothing markedly special or disappointing. I like that this place has a liquor license so you can enjoy a mimosa with your brunch, unlike some other brunch chains. Brunch without a mimosa or Bloody Mary is like Mexican food without margaritas! All in all, a solid brunch spot. This place has gone downhill. The restaurant needs a deep clean, including restroom. Service time was average for food. Coffee was delivered after food because waitress forgot it. Sausage was gritty and coffee was bitter. Other food items very good. read more

some of the worst customer service ever. I placed a togo order and was told 20-25 minutes. i showed up 25 minutes after placing it assuming it may not be ready yet and was told it's not ready yet. no problem it should be out soon- next time i asked 15 minutes later they said another 45 minutes. Now i've waited 45 minutes for a small togo order and am being told ANOTHER 45 minutes.... i went to sit in the car and called to check the status of my order and they told me they don't have it and it's going to be an hour if i want to place a new order. absolutely not. this place is an absolute mess !!! the 2 kids at the host stand were less than helpful and contributing to the chaos and telling customers to cancel their to go orders and the wait list is too long so they probably don't want to be on it. our order ended up being VERY MESSED UP !!!! not one item in the order was correct AND i was missing sides. i've been here many times in the past and have never had a problem. don't order from here unless you want to spend your whole day waiting and still end up incredibly disappointed. read more

Ok, Two stars because the Shrimp and Girts had a really nice taste!! But Not enough the position size is crazy small but they put use this extra large bowl and spread over as it itself a lot lol!!! The waffle had absolutely No taste No Taste. The chicken fingers were dry and very generic!! everytime I come here the service is awful. The only thing keeping me coming here is the food yet today, I ordered eggs benedict and they forgot the egg. My friend also ordered it and both her eggs were hard boiled. this was after waiting around 50 minutes just for our food to arrive. We sent it back and it took around 20 minutes for our food to arrive again. My friends eggs were still hard boiled. My other friends had already finished their meal by this time. I'm typing as i'm waiting for our server to pick up the check, which has taken 15 minute. Our server didn't take off any discount nor did she apologize for the inconvenience or long wait. I found the Broken Egg after looking for a breakfast place to go while in Alpharetta. Reviews were great and I was close. Service was superb, waiters super nice, coffee a bit weak and beignets were yummy. When it came to the salmon toast however, I was a bit disappointed. Upon first look the guacamole that came on the toast was dark already, not fresh and upon taking my first bite, super cold. Disappointed :( because I was really looking forward to it. Ate half. Couldn't finish it. Also, the red onion was not fresh and raw but seemed cooked and also dark in color. The hard boiled egg, probably made the day before too. This dish should have been served at room temperature and the only cold item should have been the salmon. I glanced at the next table and their eggs and potatoes however looked delicious. Fifth time coming here at our third different location with the same experience. The service was terrific and of course the food was to die for. I got the cinnamon roll french toast with city grits. The bacon and the toast was cooked flawlessly with the drizzle of caramel and whipped cream being the icing on the cake. Perfectly balanced sweet and salty taste. 100% recommend!! read more

This is our second visit to this location and thanks to the no wait on Yelp and the INCREDIBLE service, it's quickly becoming our fav spot for Sunday breakfast. Today our server, Jerri, was the kindest most attentive server we've had anywhere. When the service is that good it's nearly impossible for anything to be bad. And thankfully the food here was just as good as it always is at Another Broken Egg. We love the huge eclectic menu and haven't had anything yet we didn't enjoy. My husband and I love this franchise and made a stop in this morning since we were nearby. It looked like it was busy and might be a wait but we were greeted and seated immediately. Also- since it was our first time there (and I gather they do this for all newbies) we got free beignets! They were delicious. They serve them with this orange jam/preserve (I'm not a jam expert) which is delicious. Our server, Rachel, was fantastic. She was quick, friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. She made sure our coffee stayed full, our order came as requested, and was attentive enough to stay on top of things while not being all up in our faces. I had the chicken and waffles with the chipotle honey, yum! My husband had the southwest scrambler. He gets it every time, and was perfect today. Portions are generous, neither of us finished. Extremely disappointed. Went in around 11:00 am alone. The General Manager of Alpharetta branch on Mansell Rd/Alpharetta Highway, took my number and name and asked me to wait in the car and he will call as the table is available. He NEVER called and I kept waiting. I found that extremely insulting and clear sign of discrimination. The owner should address this. First time here. My wife got the starter breakfast and I got the shrimp and grits. Both were good. Many restaurants do shrimp and grits very differently and I liked how they did it here. Just the right amount of cheese, sauce, shrimp and sausage. Overheard one server mention to another table that first timers get something for free but I don't know what it was and didn't inquire. used to like this place today the city grits were mush the fruit was old and knarly and my poached eggs were overcooked ive noticed the diminished quality over the last few years. to spend over $50 on a few breakfast meals amd not have it perfect well i wont be spending my $ here. its not like its cheap to eat here. i get it food industry hard to keep cooks etc but a training and quality process meeds to be instilled. if grits are mush remake. if you over poach remake. check the fruit eat it every day and determine if you should serve it or not. read more

Came here for a quick morning bite from out of town (New York) and I was pretty dissapointed. They only have cold brew for iced coffee, & I was hoping it would be good, but it was VERY bitter & even though I added French vanilla sweetener it was just not good at all. Then I had a scrambler, the potatoes were good. but the omelet was very flavorless and I just wasn't a fan. The english muffin it came with was burnt on the ends, same for my boyfriend but we still ate it. Great Atmosphere, amazing food and so worth the drive!! We love this location. They even have a whole food store in the same shopping center where this is located so we walked over to it after we ate. The quality of the food is good. Went in for the second time today. It was 9:15 am and not many people there. Hostess asked if I would like to sit at the bar and I told her "no" because the last time I sat at the bar I was ignored!! It's the worst seat in the house I told her. So, she put me at a high top and told me my waitress would be "454646" and I said great. I sat and sat and sat and finally I asked the hostess if I had a waitress. I was told that my waitress was closing out another table and would be there soon. Really!! The table was right beside my table and only had 3 people (1 adult and 2 kids). They were finished. The waitress never came to my table, never said I'll be right you nor introduced herself and to let me know she was right there. No acknowledgement at all. If they were slammed that would have been understandable but I counted the number of people and there were 22 in all total. Not one person at the bar. So, I got up and left. Very simple decision. The service that I have received on both occasions has been subpar. Will I go back? Nope, nada, no chance, never, etc. I just don't think these people get it. You can have the best food in the world but if your service sucks you will go out of business before long. It's sad because I want to "LIKE" this place! I've given them two chances to make me a customer and they refuse. I'm at a loss because other cafes with this brand seem to have a better understanding of customer Service. This place is right around the corner from my office and I'm a breakfast anytime all the time kinda girl so I was excited when it opened. I have given it numerous tries and have finally given up. 3 times now my order has been wrong. The manager seemed totally unconcerned when I let her know. The service is set to a snails pace. Eggs cook in 5 minutes. It should not take 40 minutes to get an omelette when the dining room is almost empty. I can drive 15 minutes further to First watch and get back to my office faster than eating here. The last straw was when my omelette was totally wrong after waiting 40 minutes, then the server said she would send the manager over (not at my request, at that point I was just over the place) disappeared for the next 20 minutes and never came back.
