This was a great breakfast spot to try. Never been I had the Bananas Foster Pancakes and they were amazing the baked bacon was so delicious along with the potatoes. My husband got the Brisket Eggs Bendiet which was on top of a corn bread waffle. This is going to be a new spot to try over and over. read more

The food was very tasty. A bit different from traditional American but very good. The chilaquiles were not your Mexican style chilaquiles but we're still tasty. read more

This is my third time coming here and it has been consistently great each time. The food is fresh and filling. I ordered the Monterey Omelette and it was very good. I did not order a drink this time but have in the past. The mimosas are delicious. I also had a French toast and it was equally delicious. The price is not too expensive but you definitely can rack up cost in drinks. I recommend dining here during brunch and dinner. read more

Great everytime we go and I almost have the same waiter every time and he has consistently been great each time will update you on his name when I return. The shrimp and grits with city grits is probably my favorite regular menu item. Biscuit Beignets are simply amazing. The seasonal menu is always filled with great options. read more

Best breakfast/brunch restaurant in Pearland. Very affordable and a huge selection. Great service too.

Edited 20Jul19- Great coffee, amazing food and maybe a but small roach problem. On one occasion noticed one crawling on the wall by the thermostat/glass windows on a wood ledge, I know the waitress saw it and tried to act like she did not see it. I was entertaining a business guest and was too embarrassed for us both. I may go back once I am notified it has been remedied. Updated 20Jul19-Contacted by Jorge manager who is concerned and wanted to reassure us that it is being managed. It means so much when you have people that care about customer experience and the overall health of the business. With this call we realize that the entire area may be suffering with all the construction on 288. We appreciate everyone reaching out and will make it back for their great coffee. read more

We came across this place because my gf was craving pancakes. So I typed pancakes in the Yelp search this was #1 but I have NEVER noticed this place until today!! I must say we will be back! The food and the service was excellent. Our server was so patient and informative of the dishes that we had questions about. He even offered to replace my dish if I wasn't happy but I must say I was overwhelmed with the food we had. So good and FRESH!! And might I add they have SWEET TEA!!! I'm tired of wanting sweet tea and restaurants only offer ice tea, ugh. The setup, plates and mugs are very nice and has a Cajun twang to it. My gf food isn't pictured because she dived right in lol. read more

I'll start with all the pros 1. The food is always amazing, everything is always fresh and they don't mind substituting and arranging my food just the way I like it. 2. The drinks are always great it's the only place on this side of town that I can have Deep Eddie's and no one looks at me crazy. 3. The location is convenient The cons 1. The wait times are horrible. The hostess over looked my party 3 times before we were actually seated 2. It can be pricey my bill has never been less than $50, which is not what I like to spend on breakfast multiple times per week. read more

Ronald is an awesome server. We had free biscuit beignets with coupon . The Floridian omelette was delicious . It had crab meat. I could only eat half there was so much. We will be coming back again 7/8 we returned and had Nelci as our waiter. She is fabulous. There is so much good food and wonderful the food is so good that I always take it home. read more

Great food, friendly, efficient staff. Finally stopped by today, after being bookmarked in Yelp for a few months. Got a free order of the biscuit beignets for checking in on yelp. They were fresh & amazing, with powdered sugar and an orange marmalade sauce. Next we ordered the Floridian and the Skinny Omelette that comes with fruit and a toasted English Muffin and grits. Everything was cooked appropriately and fresh. Ordered the Tomatillo Mary, it was okay, but had a weird after taste. We will definitely return. I highly recommend it:) read more

This was my first time going and I will definitely be back. We came on a busy Saturday morning. They use the Yelp waitlist system and they send a text when your table is ready. I love the ambiance in here. I mean after all, this is a breakfast place and they have a full bar. That's my kind of place. I got the chicken and waffles. They were pretty good. It comes with a honey chipotle sauce to drizzle over the chicken which was a different touch than most the chicken & waffles I've had. The chicken strips were well seasoned and very crispy. I also got to try some of their City Grits. I wasn't even sure what they were but just know for someone that doesn't even like grits, they were fantastic. They have Gouda cheese in them and they're creamy as hell! Mmm! My bf and I both got mimosas and to be honest they basically pour a ton of champagne in a glass and lightly put flavoring in it. He got an Apple Pie mimosa and I got the Mango Kiwi mimosa which ended up tasting mainly like champagne. So if you're looking for a strong mimosa, this is where you wanna be! Overall everyone seemed to really like their meal. I'm coming back to try some other stuff bc every meal I saw looked delicious. Definitely making this a new spot of mine. read more

Bananas Foster French Toast is to die for. Delicious to say the least, absolutely worth the money.

Food was delicious we were a large group and got us in quick. Server was very nice and attentive

A coworker and I stopped in for breakfast while in the area for work. We both ordered the Chilaquiles which were great! Our server was friendly, and she paid just enough attention to us to keep us taken care of, but not too many interruptions! At the end of our meal the manager stopped by to check how we enjoyed our experience. The only reason for four stars instead of five was the menu listed a black bean salad of sorts as a part of the dish, but neither of our plates of Chilaquiles had black beans. The portion was very generous, so we didn't leave hungry because the black beans were missing. The menu description just didn't match the plates we received, that's all. Overall we enjoyed our breakfast! Pro tip: be sure to check in on Yelp while you're there! You may get a little something extra! read more

Fresh food and eggscellent service (sorry I had to). My friend and I ate here mainly because it was a halfway point between SW Houston and Friendswood, but were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food, friendly service and clean surroundings. The focus is not on eating light, but there are some healthy choices, and calories are listed next to each dish. There is definitely something for everyone on the menu. I plan to return with my family the next time we are in the area. read more

Ridiculously long wait times on Sunday (60+ minutes) so, use the waitlist feature on Yelp. It'll tell you what time to report to the hostess. In the end, we ended up waiting about 75 minutes for our table to be ready...10 of those were physically there. Food was pretty good but, nothing I'll crave when we visit Houston again. Service could use some improvement but, it wasn't terrible. Just long wait times between getting drinks, check, etc. read more

We were seated very fast. Nice service. It was a weekday during breakfast/lunch The servings were big and delicious. I got a hash. It was well seasoned and good. There was good amount of bacon and protein so each bite had not only fried potatoes but some meat. I like the biscuit and gravy. They biscuits were big and the gravy has sausage and it hit the spot! This is my new favorite breakfast spot in Pearland!!! First, let me say that the beignets are AMAZING! Like so good that I can go and just have beignets and coffee. Like so good, it's really bad for my diet that these beignets are so close to my house! Next, the cinnamon toast dfrench toast - delicious! And I have to say that the shrimp and grits will be revisited several times in the coming days. My Bellini was even good! I have no complaints. No negative comments. Cheers! read more
