Do NOT be fooled. Everything in here is MidGrade all the way, crispy chicken and waffles? It was like I just went to Walmart and bought frozen waffles and chicken super MidGrade. Crab English muffin? Extremely small IT DIDNT EVEN TASTE LIKE CRAB.. What was I eating??? Straight grinded fish probably. SUPER MIDGRADE lobster omelette?? Literally everything is small portions and it's not worth the taste or money it didn't even look appealing to my brother. ON TOP OF ALL THAT we got a $45 pitcher of a somewhat quenching. It comes out to be not even a foot tall and about 4-5 inches wide. We each got one little cup like are you actually kidding me who ever is running this damn clown show needs to reconsider how they run a food business people come here and spend good money for you to probably not even pay your employees good because you are USED to the scam of society's influence to base your employees pay off tips, how could you wake up and think to yourself. Let me skimp another couple hundred people on meals today ‍ read more

Great atmosphere. Food was good. Service was somewhat slow but they were short staffed

Empty restaurant but we were told to wait 30 minutes. Bartender has bar full of dishes but not even trying to clean the bar. Servers walking empty hands trying to rely on busboy. Manager making a very occasional appearance and then hiding in the back and not trying to help staff. English muffin brought with obvious two bites and a bit burned as it was reheated. Muffin was replaced as soon as we asked. Potatoes were reheated again too. At the end bathroom full of port of toilet paper and trash can that was full of pater towels. We been to Oviedo location many times and it was so much more pleasant, staff is trying, working as a team, management cares, and not afraid to face upset/not happy customers. Update- management reached out and promised to improve. I am looking for a few good reviews and then consider coming back. read more

DONT GO! JUST DOOOONT GO.. go to chick fil a next door instead, you'll be happy and satisfied. My boyfriend wanted to go to McDonald's, I insisted on this place cause i went to one in Broward County and it was really good but here it was terrible!! I should have just gone to McDonald's. I ordered no onions in my food... i got onions in my food. I'm not allergic to them but what if I was & I didn't check?? Asked for a side of ranch for the potato fries... and I think the lady went to another country to get it or something because never got it. Ordered beignets, i got the check instead and no beignets. What we ordered, BOTH OUR FOODS were DRRRRRRRRRRRY like a seriously hot summers day. The service was terrible and I still tipped $3 but as mean as this sounds I really shouldn't have Look, i had to admit that I made a terrible choice on choosing here to eat, next time, I'll just go to McDonald's. So seriously, just go somewhere else. read more

Service was good , food wasn't great. Small portions. I went to the one in Georgia and that was incredible.

Excellent brunch place. Great service great food and loved the drinks. Very accommodating.

I finally tried this spot and was disappointed. The food was mediocre and everything took so long to come out! I really wanted to like this breakfast spot that offered a full bar but I'll have to try it again. Even my coffee took about 15minutes to come out. read more

Service was great with a quaint atmosphere. Surprised that the room was not filled with Karens', but with a diverse crowd setting the tone for a great day. I missed breakfast while out of town and decided to grab a late breakfast near my location. The menu offered several options for everyone such as specialty omelets and French toast, but I focused on the biscuits and gravy. I was pretty amazed to see that they hand packed the sausage patties, as they stole the show for me. The sausage gravy was good but had a seasoning that threw me off a bit. The eggs must have been neglected as I ordered OM and received OH instead. I chose grits over hash browns and ate what I could. The server explained that I could have them mixed with bacon drippings, bacon and cheddar if I wanted. I passed and went with the butter and sugar instead. I would return again. read more

This food was amazing. I had the crab cake benny which was cooked to perfection. My tag along had pancakes and I had a bite and really enjoyed it. They also served us complimentary deserts with orange honey sauce and it was delicious as well. read more

The food is great. The staff sucks. Order to go. Needed a substitution, and the staff had me on hold for 10 minutes, hung up and called back, another 15 minutes. By then my food was ready. I don't care how busy you are, you don't leave someone on hold for over 5 minutes. read more

We stopped in for breakfast and we're not disappointed. It's an updated "trendy" place but the food was able to back up the looks. We had Mario as a server and he honestly was the best server we have had in awhile. Would get the bacquezo omelette again!! read more

We've been fans of ABE for a long time. We were excited to see a location open closer to home for us. Today we had Taylor as our server, and she did a great job. Taylor was very attentive friendly, and conversive. We always want start with the biscuit beignets. Orange juice tastes fresh, cold brew was delicious, omelet and eggs Benedict (pictured) were as tasty as expected. read more

The restaurant has a great look to it. Our server was incredibly nice and welcoming. It was our first time eating here in Florida since we're visiting from out of state. She brought out some beignets for us to try, and they were really good. I had the lobster and Brie cheese omelette which was different from anything I've had - I really did like it. Would recommend! read more

Food is absolutely delicious!! Unfortunately service is often slow, weekends are packed and is frustrating waiting around for a table while you can see 3-4 empty tables in front! They need to shorten the amount of time they give people to check-in! Sometimes people don't even show up which just creates for others to wait even longer! read more

I love the lobster and Brie omelette, I get this every time! I'm so glad they built one closer to my home! read more

This place deserves a 0 star for horrible service. We arrived got seated right away - they were not busy. Waited over 10 minutes while we watched multiple staff members standing around talking and not a single person acknowledged us. We walked out and I told the staff up front that we were leaving because no one waited on us and they started laughing Avoid this place like the plague. read more

**Be careful ordering online*** Three stars for the food. The cinnamon roll French toast is yummy and the Godiva pancakes were ok -- all the chocolate was in the center and I never got the Godiva chocolate sauce or chocolate cream cheese mentioned with my order so can't speak to that I got plain chocolate chip pancakes. Not even the strawberry was included ... so much for the special. They also forgot to add the cheese to my eggs (which is an up charge) as well but those aren't dealbreakers for me and I would still go back and try again. I took two stars off after the customer service I received from the manager. The food was good and I like this chain as a whole but had to be microwaved as it was completely cold by the time we got it home due to the order going to the wrong location. They also didn't complete my order correctly, but not worth having to drive all the way back to address this. We placed an order for a different location and later learned our order went to this location after some time. I placed the order close to where my husband was so he could just pick it up after his appointment but I guess the location switched when I got kicked out during the process. He waited and waited and finally went in to see where the order was and they said they didn't have any order for him. You MUST order online so if there is a change or an issue you are supposed to call the cafe. The number does NOT work. My husband had to drive over 25 mins to get to the correct location since the food was paid for. When he arrived he explained to the girl grabbing his food this was the wrong location and that he couldn't reach anyone and she said 'yeah our phones don't work'. Interesting that they don't try to contact us when it was 30 mins since the food was ready and we hadn't picked it up. We could not call to explain the situation or even ask if they can hold the order in the kitchen to stay warm or even cancel it since the other location was willing to make it so we didn't have to eat cold food. No one had a working number or email and so I had to call corporate to reach someone. A day later I get a call before 8am from someone arguing with another person in the background. He stated he was calling from Another Broken Egg and said you wanted to speak with someone and just sat there .... from the beginning Brian, the "general manager", had an attitude and was defensive and rude the entire time and appeared to be annoyed that I had made a complaint and was expressing my opinion that it seemed counterproductive to have a non working phone line for 4 months when (what the other location reported) this is the only way to contact the cafe and customers have no way to communicate with the cafe. He explained he was sending emails to someone once a week about the issue which he clarified was not in fact 4 months but more like 8 months since they opened. I asked why an alternative number like a cell phone hadn't been an interim solution until they fixed the issue because the website doesn't even state this is an issue which just adds to the frustration. He made some haphazard comment about agreeing the website should state the number doesn't work and then said my money was refunded as if he no longer wanted my business and needed to call me back as an obligation from corporate. No apology. No attempt at any compassion. I have never heard of phones not working so long and a business not wanting to have an alternative solution since they first open. Unprofessional and glad I don't frequent this location. read more

Waited awhile for this place to open up near my house. Have now been there at least three times and have been pleased everytime. The atmosphere is trendy and modern. The food is flavorful (my gf loves everything Cajun). Servers have always been attentive and pleasant. Loved the service here while we were on vacation as a family . The servers were friendly and always on top of our needs. The place was clean and the food was delicious. One of the best omelets i've had in a longgg time! For sure one of the top breakfast joints i've ever been to read more

Just moved to this area of Orlando and was looking for a great breakfast spot. We stopped by and it was not a mistake! This place is AMAZING! We 1000% will be back and to try more delicious food! read more

I've eaten in Broken egg in Oviedo and now in Orlando and I find myself needing to rate them due to the horrible service and bad food in both. It seems as if none of the staff have ever heard of customer service. Today we stood at the front door for almost 5 minutes and staff was nowhere around. There were a couple of families already seated so we figured they're all busy helping get the food together. When we were finally seated we waited another 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged we existed. The girl took our drink order and rushed off before we were done talking to her. Several minutes later waiting again we noticed that staff had not even taken the order of the other families yet. I have no idea how these guys stay in business. Food was edible but not worth it. read more

My friend took me to breakfast for my birthday this morning. She had never been to a Broken Egg Cafe. I have been to your location in Daytona, another friend lives in a condo almost across the street. Our experience this morning could not have been better! Food was great and our server Claire was FABULOUS!!!!! We wanted to compliment her to management before we left but it was very busy and as managers ourselves we did not want to pull them away from what they were doing. Once Claire heard this was my birthday breakfast, she did not hesitate to wish me happy birthday. Claire offered menu recommendations. Claire is a TREMENDOUS asset to your business!! Claire said she loves her job and loves the management team she works with. We truly hope Claire will be recognized by corporate for simply being herself, being AWESOME and putting a smile on our faces!!! THANK YOU CLAIRE!!! YOU ARE AN AMAZING YOUNG WOMAN!!!! We wish you the VERY Best!!!! read more

Nice and clean. lots of Egg Benedict type options... service was super slow that day...food was pretty decent...

So, my wife and I are ALWAYS on the lookout for new breakfast spots. The brunchier, the better! We had heard through a local FB group that ABEC was coming to our neck of the woods, and were excited to try it. We have had takeout, and dine in, in order to get the full experience. Unfortunately however, this place just misses the mark for me. Of course, everything inside looks very nice, and has the aesthetic of higher end spot. Prices are reflective of this, and the menu also makes you think that you are in for some tasty goodness. The proof being in the proverbial pudding; the food is just not that great. :-( Having ordered a couple Benedicts, a waffle, a pancake, and various breakfast meats, I can honestly say that I could be eating the equivalent of a budget Publix shopping trip. Nothing appears to made from scratch, or even made with the care expected at this price point. I really wanted this place to shine, and have a closer option than some of the other brunch gems in town, but I cannot say that I will return. read more

Just looked like a simple brunch place but was surprised by the food and great service. Everyone working there is friendly and we even had a nice conversation with our server. Excellent choice if you are looking for a new brunch spot. The wait time isn't much, the workers are fast and friendly, and they have amazing coffee. The food on the menu was nothing I have ever seen before. The main entree was amazing full of new flavors and the perfect amount of food to get you stuffed, the breakfast sides are nothing special but overall 8/10 it al just depends on what you order. read more

I think I have a new favorite Brunch spot!!! This place was amazing! Extensive menu with focus on Southern Style inspired food. Wow, did they nail the flavor! But I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's start with drinks! They have a full bar in addition to specialty Blood Mary's, Mimosas, and Cocktails. I got the Lemon Blueberry Mimosa and my husband got a Blackberry Vanilla Mimosa. Delicious. We both also got coffees and they were excellent as well. (FYI if you're in to Cold Brews, those were available) Now let's talk about food! First things first, BEIGNETS! Now if you've been to New Orleans, you know all about Beignets. Fluffy pastry's with powdered sugar galore!! Now don't get too excited, the ones here aren't like your traditional beignets from NOLA however they're a close second. They are biscuit beignets which ironically tasted just as amazing. I got Chicken and Waffles with a Chipotle Honey glaze. The flavor on the chicken was incredible. Perfect blend of spices and went really well with the Chipotle honey. My husband got the Shrimp and Grits, and let's just say his plate was licked clean by the time we were done. Overall, great place to try out. Daniel our server was awesome, very attentive. Tiffany, one of the managers, stopped by to check on us, very friendly. Covid wise, I will say I felt very comfortable. Staff all wore masks and I saw multiple people thoroughly cleaning the tables after people left. I will say it was somewhat crowded which could potentially make you uncomfortable depending on where you are sitting. We were in a booth, and I felt fine, just depends. But overall excellent place!! Will definitely go again! read more
