The King's Memorial Combo

The ambience is OK for a chain type restaurant and the bathrooms were reasonably clean. The only thing that I would have appreciated is that the paper towels in the women's bathroom were filled and not empty so you could dry your hands. The server we had on this visit was very nice and accommodating. The steak served for the fajitas was very undercooked and it was not cut into strips (it was just a big slab) so we sent it back in. They served it correctly the second time. Overall this is a typical TexMex place that is good. What we enjoy are the various side sauces you can order, along with tortillas. This in addition to the salsa and chips is a plus, in my opinion.

Nice interior and we just ordered one dish custom veg enchiladas with boom boom sauce. Sauce made all the difference. Service was ok, we have to ask basic things like napkins.

They've removed the dividers between the booths and now it seems louder. Being a Saturday, it was pretty busy but we still didn't have a long wait. We love this place! Our servers are always great and the food comes out fast and its always good!

I love me some Tex-mex and enjoyed this delicious lunch. Came here with a friend and we both enjoyed our meal. I had the appetizer sampler which had fajita quesadillas, tostadas, and flautas with queso, sour cream, and guac. I also loved the chips, salsa, and dip they put on the table when we got there. Everything was hot and fresh and service was polite and prompt. The decor inside is super fun too! I'll def be back!

Crispy Tacos, Appetizer Plate, Fajita Beef

It's been years since I visited this location. I couldn't remember if I liked it or not but saw a reel of someone eating their tacos with the jalapeño cream sauce. It looked so good that my family and I decided to try it again. The line to see the hostess was long because she wasn't at the check-in desk but once she arrived, the line quickly went down. Our server was nice and was attentive on refilling our chips. The food took awhile to come to the table which I was surprised about since the restaurant wasn't that busy (at least it looked empty in the main room we were in). My mom ordered the appetizer plate as her meal, my dad the beef fajitas, and I had the crispy tacos. My tacos were COLD. Like I was genuinely surprised with how cold they were. Luckily it was crispy and not stale but it's literally just a hard shell taco. When I think of crispy tacos I think of the ones from TacoBell. I was so hungry that I didn't return it but after finishing 1 of the 3 tacos, I couldn't force myself to eat anymore. My mom's plate was barely warm and the only thing that seemed to arrive hot to the table were the fajitas because you could hear the sizzle on the plate (as you should with fajitas). However, the steak was very tough and chewy. The restaurant itself was relatively clean. We didn't use the bathrooms or anything but the tables were wiped down and the leather chairs weren't ripped up or anything which is good. Overall, the food tasted so bland, was served cold, and just was not impressive enough to be worth the price. It is the definition of Mid for my fellow Gen Zs. I would not return again.

Chicken Flautas

The food tastes amazing and fresh ingredients. It's easy to order to go, plenty of parking and location close to the airport. The service is good and area for to go orders.

I stopped in for late lunch on Saturday while waiting to check into my hotel near the Orlando international airport. I love Mexican food and this was conveniently located right next to all the airport hotels. I was looking for reposado tequila and was impressed to find the Grand Ma's Rockin' 'Rita comes with it plus a float of Grand Marnier, even more bonus points! The margarita was delicious and made so I was happy to order it twice. Then I also ordered the appetizer plate which comes with planchas, quesadillas, and flautas. It also came with guacamole and sour cream which were both good quality. My favorite sauces were the queso and the green sauce. The queso is so yummy and great warm. The green sauce reminds me of the traditional cilantro garlic sauce served with empanadas and it's sooo good on everything in this dish. The portions are hefty and I had enough leftover to eat another 3 times so it's well worth the price. The bartender was very friendly and even helped me put a to go order in with perfect timing to receive as soon as I was ready to leave. I ordered the roasted chicken burrito for my boyfriend and he ate it all in one sitting when I returned back to our hotel. Safe to say you can't go wrong ordering their tex mex dishes! I also forgot my to-go drink and she brought it out for me at the front entrance, thank goodness for her! The entire restaurant is decorated in vibrant colors and different framed photos along the bar wall of dogs-so cute. It feels very festive and clean, I would recommend going if you're in this area!

Its been 3 years since I've been to a Chuy's. I discovered this chain of restaurants while I was living in Nashville. Great food and environment. So I move to Orlando and the Chuy's on I-Drive became one of my favorites, especially when family was in town visiting. Same great experience as Nashville, if not better. Then came covid and everything changed. I haven't been to one of these restaurants since 2021. So it was definitely time to go back. I was in a hurry, so I ordered to go the Elvis Presley special and an Enchiladas plate. I get home, open the containers and there was nothing but disappointment. The quality of the food and the portion size have gone downhill. I mean, maybe it was a bad day or something like that, but the food was bland, there was barely chicken or steak inside those enchiladas. And of course, the prices went up. Maybe I'll have a different experience if I go back and dine in. I don't know. But I definitely won't order delivery or takeout. On a positive note, the staff was great and accommodating while I was waiting for my food.

Taco & Enchilada Combo

The food was amazing! It was delicious, served piping hot, even the chips which our server made sure we always had a full basket of fresh hot chips! He was attentive, right down to making sure we had enough of the right type of sweetener for our tea. The decorations were quite colorful and unique, amazing hand painted art. Ambiance was lively but not over powering. I was impressed! We can't wait to give our home town location a shot!

Sad brown guacamole

Pico tasted old, the guac was brown, steak too chewy to even eat. The "fresh" tortillas tasted like the refrigerator. Queso seemed watered down. Very disappointing.

I was super impressed with literately everything about this restaurant! It seems like a family restaurant and I was later so surprised to know that its a chain. The service is on point, the price is good, the setting is amazing, lots of seating. I came here three times in two days because it is next to our hotel! First time I got the bean and cheese burrito, it was huge and came with their fresh chips! All sauces were delicious. Second order was in the restaurant and I grabbed the quesadillas which was cooked perfectly! Third order was the chicken enchiladas which had the same refried beans as the first order. Next time, I think the fajita would be nice to try.

A great spot for a Tex Mex lunch. I work close to this location and enjoyed a quick lunch here. I normally am not the biggest fan of Tex Mex but once in a while it's enjoyable. Chuys makes it easier with their large selection of Tex Mex favorites with a focus on green chiles, which are delicious. I had the tacos Al carbon and everything was great. Food came out quickly and service was quick.

I just love Chuy's! Having lived in Texas for 4 years, it's impossible not to know about this national gem. Although this Chuy's location is nowhere on the level of the ones in Texas, it still had a pleasant charm of its own. There is so much to love about this place....the decor, the ambiance, the vibe, the colors, the classic car photos, the food, and the service. It's a recipe for greatness. We ordered a Raspberry Margarita that was really sour but tasty. We also ordered the ChuyChanga and the soft chicken tacos. Both came with Mexican rice and refried beans. As always, everything was very good. Usually, when I go to Mexican restaurants, the rice and refried beans are an afterthought, just something to fill up the plate and charge you more. Not here! The Mexican rice and refried beans can easily be the star of the show because they are really good. I almost forget to mention the complimentary crispy & fresh tortilla chips that are made on site, served with their tomatillo sauce and fresh salsa. Both are watery, but still flavorful. Did I mention that I just love this place?!

I had my thoughts on the frozen raspberry margarita that I had the time before that was so delicious but unfortunately they did not have that flavor this time. I got the strawberry and lime frozen margaritas swirled together with a sugar rim. The margarita was pretty good. I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars. For an entree, I ordered the chicken flautas. This comes with rice and refried beans. When served, the entree came with 6 flautas which to me seemed like a decent portion. I was very disappointed though because there was barely any meat inside each one and I swear there was no cheese. Which cheese makes the dish. They were extremely dry and I only ate like 2. The rice and beans made up for the dish. I appreciate the salsa and chips that get brought out to each table.

Although a little different in decor, every Chuy's has the hand painted swimming fish, the hubcap ceiling, and the shrine to Elvis which was a fixture of the original store. I had a great first Chuy's experience with my girlfriend Holly in Pembroke Pines. On a recent trip to visit my daughter in Winter Park we passed Chuy's in Lakeside Crossing and remembering how much I liked it, I suggested we dine here for dinner. In addition to the multiple dining rooms, they also have outside patio seating. We were seated in my favorite room, the dog one. If you bring in a picture of your pup you can get a free appetizer so the walls are covered with pictures of people's dogs. This room also worked out best for us because it had two TV's and we could watch the Super Bowl. We started off with their complimentary chips that come with a spicy salsa fresca and a Chuy's signature item, creamy jalapeño dressing. It started out as a dressing and it is now a dip with a following. You can even purchase it to take home with you. Two dips can never be enough so we also ordered the queso that is a beloved menu item for good reason. The menu has a number of Tex-Mex favorites like burritos, tacos, and fajitas. Chuy's is especially known for their large portions. They also make all of their own tortillas and sauces. You can customize how spicy you want your food by pepper choice and sauce. I ordered my favorite steak burrito with double rice, no beans. I replaced the spicy hatch chili sauce with the creamy deluxe tomatillo recommended by our server. It was chef's kiss. My daughter and her boyfriend said they really liked their food too and with the large portion size, ended up having leftovers to take home with them. I love the quirky decor, value, and tasty food. We were in the mood for filling meal with a casual vibe and Chuy's hit the spot.

Disclaimer: this review is for the lunch buffet only…read more I went with my family to try the $18.49 all you can eat lunch buffet. This was my first time experiencing a buffet for hispanic food and for this price point in Orlando, this is an amazing value deal. The server regularly brought us out silverware, napkins, and refilled our water. The place is decorated very fun and plays latin music which was lovely Not only was there an unlimited assortment of lunch foods, but an entire bar of fresh toppings for tacos (or rice bowls) and made to order desserts which were included for free! Not everything on the buffet line was the best but given the amount of options, price, and how good the great items are this is still worth a five star rating. I unfortunately did not take pictures of the food before I began devouring everything in sight to the point of near-collapse, but I will do a quick rundown of the buffet highlights: The best meats were the fajita steak, chicken, and shrimp made fresh in cast iron skillets, as well as the chicken lengua which was super flavorful and tender. The mexican rice, beans, fajitas, plantains, and street corn were also excellent. Fresh quesadillas, chips, and corn tortillas on standby with homemade queso and salsas. The flan and mini churros were the best I've ever had. Super rich, decadent Carmel flan. Mini churros hot and crisp on the outside, filled with a gooey soft milk chocolate center. They were delicious. Items that were disappointing: the tamales, mini chicken flautas, and beef chimichangas were just okay, lacking the seasoning and flavor that other dishes had. The beef barbacoa was not as tender or flavorful as the shredded chicken surprisingly. The mixed seafood was itself a mixed bag with some shrimps / scallops overcooked to much while others were perfectly cooked. The chicken mole and beef tri tip were room temperature despite sitting on hot plates. The tri tip also varied widely in doneness throughout the slices and not super tender. The rice pudding was pretty standard, and the tres leches cake was weird as they crumbled the cake into pieces before soaking it.

They do not have alcohol, but they have coronas and a margarita type glass premixed for purchase. That held us over for the time being. The chips and salsa were phenomenal. The salsa had some type of sweet pepper flavor to it and you could tell it was homemade. The restaurant itself is very nice inside clean, well designed, and has a welcoming atmosphere. There's also a parking garage nearby, which makes it convenient. When we arrived, it wasn't too busy, and it took our server about 4 minutes to greet us. Once she did, she was incredibly friendly and accommodating, especially since I have a shellfish allergy. That definitely stood out and made me feel comfortable dining there. They start you off with complimentary chips and dips, which were amazing and a great way to kick off the meal. For my main, I ordered the chipotle queso enchiladas along with the Perfect Paloma. The drink lived up to its name it was refreshing, flavorful, and honestly one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the supreme nachos, which were good overall, but the beans were a bit overpowering compared to the other toppings. As the restaurant started to get busier, things did slow down a bit, and the food took longer than expected because they were backed up. That said, our server continued to check in on us and kept a great attitude the entire time. When the enchiladas finally came out, they did not disappoint. The chipotle queso enchiladas were absolutely delicious full of flavor and definitely something I'd order again. The only downside was the rice, which was a little hard and not as enjoyable as the rest of the plate. We didn't complain to the server, as we assumed it wasn't his policy. Disappointing and misleading. We did end up ordering a variety of margaritas, which were disappointing to our crew for various reasons. Mine was acceptable but not exciting, though. I got the swirl with sangria. We checked in online and got the free 'guac'. I wish I'd snapped a photo, as it arrived without an attempt at presentation, just two scoops of mushed avocado on a plate. It needed more seasoning, which was unfortunate because there was no salt at our high top table. Nachos were decent, but soggy. I asked for extra jalapenos, which I did receive and they gave my plate more flavor. Service was fine.
