Let me begin by saying I'm not really a taco person so deciding to come here was a big stretch for me. I was indeed pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed the experience from the food to the service. The self ordering kiosk was seamless, wait service was friendly and welcoming, decor and ambiance were typical fast foodish taco eatery with plenty of seating. The food and beverages were quickly delivered to our table. The portions were humongous and could easily feed 2-3 people. Everyone was more than satisfied with the food quality and flavor. The Mac and cheese was a different type of combination and a hearty serving. They Loved the birria grilled cheese with the crispy bread and gooey cheese and like giant helping of birria. . The French fries were a crispy hit!! Loved the loaded nachos...unfortunately the nachos got soggy rather quickly but the salsa guacamole combination was especially delectable. The platanos Maduro was a favorite and we had to order an additional a to go. The street corn was also the right combination of sweet and sour and a hearty portion for a 'side'. Definitely felt satisfied and will return. Great for a family outing because there was something for everyone's palate and large enough portions for kids to share. My only complaint is that everything was very salty. I'm always on the lookout for salt because of my hypertension. While it tasted great, I could not finish my birria grilled cheese because it was very salty...my companion ate it and loved it. It was filled to the brim with birria and wonderfully gooey cheese! Sadly, we didn't have a good experience at our 1st visit at Talkin' Tacos. However, the food tasted delicious!! The atmosphere is dark and uninviting. However, the theme is fun. You walk in and place your order on their iPad. They never greeted us or asked if we needed any help. Once we ordered, I received a text stating my order will be ready in about 10 mins. They brought out our loaded fries and guacamole. A bit later, the stack wrap came out. At a 1/2 hour later, we still didn't receive our tacos. (Everyone around us who came in after us already had their food.) I asked the worker who said he was going to check. A couple minutes later, one plate came out. Then 10 mins later, the other 2 plates. Few things to note: --They bring out plates separately when ready rather than waiting for the entire order to be ready. --Tacos don't come with chips. Recently visited while driving family to the airport and we were disappointed. They brought out half our food order (4 people, each with an entree and shared chips and guacamole) and then ignored us for 5 minutes. When the server came and asked "did you not get all your food?" they immediately brought out one more entree, but the fourth person had to wait another 5 minutes for their Mac and cheese (which another person had ordered and received already). Then we found birria mac and cheese was more like macaroni in cheese-soup. Otherwise the food was acceptable despite the soupy pasta. The murals and neon accents under black-lights are definitely a nightclub vibe if you like that in a restaurant. I thought it was neat but generally very dark inside. Those tacos were freaking amazing!!!! We got the trio, which i love they have that options so we could try and know what we like best. Also ordered the mac n cheese which was good, nothing extraordinary and we ordered the bowl which we thought the crispy bowl made it worth the dish!! Dip the bowl into the taco sauce: YUMMMM!!!! The inside looks pretty cool. You're able to order by a kiosk only. There was a nice gentleman passing out menus to guests in line so they could look in advance. The text message function was also not working properly. We received a text that our order was ready but then it wasn't. The food portion was actually decent though. Visited the new location at the Loop in Kissimmee. Decoration is super cute and colorful. Staff is friendly. Went on a Saturday evening and it wasn't too busy. Food came fairly quick. It was all very flavorful. Now I did order the Quesabirria and it comes cut in 4 pieces. I ate the first 2 pieces and it was juicy and cheesy. When I got to the 3rd piece it was all cheese. I felt bad complaining about it thinking it was just a mistake. So I ate it but took the other piece home as I got full. Later on when I got home and ate the one piece that was left it was also just cheese. So essential the quesadilla was only half filled with meat and other was cheese. For the price point I hope it was only a mistake because to pay $15 for cheese and tortilla it is not worth it. The Birria tacos were not authentic, they tasted like a puero rican put a packet of sazon on a packet of instant Birria. The Birria ramen was instant noodle pack and very small amount of birria and the birria was NOT good. The Bang bang tacos, The shrimp had no crisp, it looked and tasted like boiled oil shrimp, and the sauce tasted like a sauce from a bottle. The cabbage tasted like it spent two days cut in the walk in fridge and they took it out and put it on a taco. Went to this little spot, not expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. Upon walking in the decor is very lively with black walls and neon pictures. We ordered from a kiosk, and I was surprised at the variety. My husband and I both ended up getting a sampler of the tacos. I got a shrimp taco, a jerk taco. And a beef one. All were very delicious tacos were hot and fresh and I really enjoyed the tortillas as they were high-quality and tasted very fresh. The food came out pretty quick and service was friendly. I will be sure to come back as I wanted to try a lot of other things that on the menu. read more

My first time at Talkin tacos, at their newest location in Lake Nona and I will be coming here a lot! It's a casual and fun place with a cool street food feel. I had the steak burrito and it was huge, flavorful, and loaded with meat. Also really enjoyed their homemade sauces, my favorite was the habanero. I picked up food for my office. It wasn't very good. I'm giving it 2 stars vs 1 because they are still new. But I was grossed out when I used the bathroom and saw that they water down their soap. I wonder what other things they are cutting corners with. I got the bean taco. It had almost no beans on it. It did have a mountain of cilantro which was way too much. I also got guacamole. It was very liquidy and loaded with onions and tomatoes. The chips were very bad. The bag they came in was soaked with grease and the chips were all chewy. My coworker got the birria grilled cheese and said it barely had any cheese. My other coworker got the quesabirra and said it was very greasy with a weird pile of onions on top. Just like raw onions sprinkled on top. Hopefully this place gets better once they iron out the kinks. read more

We ordered Jalapeño Taki Queso, Street Corn in a Cup, and Caribbean Carne Tacos. My advice skip the queso and street corn. I HIGHLY recommend the Caribbean Carne Tacos. So good. If I came back, that's what I'd order. I was looking at reviews of this place to see what I should order, and I came across a review that said the bathroom was terrible because they watered down the soap. No seasoning, poor flavor and low quality. Steak was pre-cooked, dry, grizzled and just meh. Timing was all off, tacos came quickly and the ramen came 10 minutes later... Churros were shockingly bland. With the amount of ingredients on it... Just bland. Hot Sauce was spicy vinegar and tasted awful. Sour Cream on tacos tasted off... Tacos were sparse on cheese as well. Talkin' Tacos has a variety menu with a flavor twist. Their Birria tacos had a cinnamon taste to them, it wasn't terrible but it just wasn't to my liking. Their pico de gallo didn't have much flavor, the street corn in a cup would be better if the corn was grilled and it wasn't so runny. The chicken achiote tacos had a very sweet taste to them. I would come back for a late night snack if nothing else was open. Again, I think Talkin' Tacos you just have to have an acquired taste for the flavors. read more

It would be helpful if the menus listed what is included in an item. For example, I ordered birria tacos and added consommé for additional cost because I didn't know it already came with consommé (so I got two of them). Food was good- trendy tacos, quesadillas, etc. Chips had no salt and were so bland. Kids chicken fingers were so-so. Staff member Sonia was polite and helpful. Half the restaurant is very dimly light, which shows off the cool black-lit mural on the wall, but isn't good for people with low vision. Drinks are pricey ($4.99 for most and $6.50 for horchata). Tables and metal chairs aren't the most comfortable- the tables have legs on each corner that angles towards the inside, meaning you have to sit squished near the center side of the table. This afternoon I had the pleasure of attending TALKIN' TACOS grand opening and what an incredible experience it was. Everything about this opening was amazing, from the incredible staff, delicious food, DJ spinning some high vibrational tunes, and the man on stilts. TALKIN' TACOS sure knows how to throw a party. Upon entering Yesily came outside and handed out cold water which was incredibly thoughtful of the establishment considering Florida weather haha. Now it was time to order, I was greeted by Ed who was the life of the party, he assisted with ordering on the kiosk and explained his favorite dishes. As the food arrived it was hot and scrumptious. I had the birria burrito, birria tacos and the biscoff churros. Everything, everything, and I mean everything was so perfect. Claudia thank you for the love you pour into the food, it tasted like love. Everything was presented well and the lovely owner Mo came over check on us, gave us a little insight on the history of TALKIN' TACOS. Mo you are amazing and I wish this location a lot of success. The ambiance is lively, from the beautiful murals, splashed with neon paint; great place for photo ops might I add. An event so simple turned into an incredible event surrounded by wonderful staff, great vibes and delicious food. Food is very over priced and low quality. They take their sweet time for nothing. No flavor, the mahi in my burrito did NOT taste fresh and has a strong fishy smell.
