I went off Apple Maps looking for lunch and came across this place. I love me some tacos so I decided to give it a try. Driving there was a little sketchy. Thought it took me to the wrong place. When I saw the place we were going to just leave, but the ratings were so good. We were hungry and already there so we just ordered. IM SO GLAD I DID! We had a mix of tacos. Chicken, steak and birria. None disappointed. I would 100% come back. Thanks for a nice lunch date with my husband.
The road to get here is quite bumpy. I thought I was lost at one point but I followed other vehicles that were going to the area. There will be many construction sites and 18-wheelers. The wait for the food was about 20 minutes, and ordering was quite smooth. I placed my order and waited in the car to pay. When they are done with your order, the chef brings it out, and you pay her. I believe that they are cashless since I did not see a cash option to pay. The food was definitely worth the wait. The only thing I would not order again would be the birria ramen. Though it was very flavorful, I thought it wasn't worth it as much as the other items I ordered. The el pastor tacos were amazing, and the el pastor fries and flauntas were great to share with my friend. The fry-to-protein ratio balanced each other. The tacos were a great size and very flavorful. The chef included plenty of limes. I will definitely be coming back when I am in the area.
My son's and I went to this amazing little Mexican restaurant last night that offers basic Mexican street food. To begin with the service was outstanding and fast. They took our order quickly and got the food out to us fast and hot. They brought out some chips and salsa. The salsa was a mild sauce but you can have different heats. We had beef tacos , chicken tacos and the pork tacos with this little onion sauce on the side, all was delicious and relaxing with a no rush atmosphere. So if you're coming to the Orlando area near universal studios it's a great place to get a reasonably priced dinner.
La Eskinna is one of my favorite food trucks in Orlando! Tucked away in an industrial park, it's a hidden food treasure. They have an array of options on their menu, even have vegetarian-friendly options! Everything I have tried from their menu has been great. I recommend the 3 taco combo with esquites. This time I ordered the regular chicken taco, chicken birria taco, beef birria taco, and the esquites. My favorite was the chicken birria taco! Service was wonderful, the people running the truck were very kind! The service was quick, and the tacos were freshly made with high-quality ingredients!
This spot is the literal definition of "if you know you know!" First of all the food was 5/5, deliciously amazing! Second of all this taco truck is legit in the middle of nowhere, but bare with me, it's legit worth the drive. It's tucked allll the way behind a semi truck parking territory/junkyard/it's giving Texas chainsaw massacre vibes. On the final stretch right before arriving to the taco truck parking lot we passed a trailer that looked like it was straight out of the Hills Have Eyes movie There's no seating or tables or anything, it's just a grab and go or grab and eat in or on your car. Which is what we did, we just put all the food on my trunk and went to town devouring everything. We ordered the Birria tacos (duhhh), Esquites, mini Flautas, and Chips + Queso. My goodness, everything was really good, fresh, and hot off the grill. The chips were mad crunchy and just right with every bite. The tacos were juicy as can be and melted in your mouth. The mini flautas hit all the spots in my tummy. Definitely enjoyed this meal and for sure recommend you check them out.
The Eloite had great topping but it lacked flavor throughout the corn. It was really watery from the corn. The corn had no season and there was not enough chipotle sauce. If it had more sauce, some seasoning it probably would have been better than it was. Just a suggestion! The tacos were pretty good though so no complaints there!
We really wanted to like La Eskinna because Fernanda is so nice. The street tacos are OK, but are really small and at $4 each (even when you buy 5) are very expensive. The Quesadilla was big but not that flavorful and at $14 seems we should have been at fine dining. Not a good value for OK tacos and quesadilla.
I have to admit I've never had birria tacos before coming here. But I've been hearing all about them so I looked for a taco place that sells them and found La Eskinna. As other people have mentioned this location is a food truck in an indiscriminate parking lot. You pass by some random junkyards on your way here. If I hadn't known in advance I definitely would've doubted I was going the right way. Nevertheless I found the place easily enough. I parked in one of the designated spots and a staff member quickly came up to take our order. The staff member was very nice. The food took some time to be prepared but it was definitely worth the wait! We ordered the birria tacos of course as well as the birria fries. Both tasted great! They have a variety of things on their menu and I would love to try their birria ramen on my next visit. If you're a taco lover La Eskinna is definitely a must try!
It's rare that I leave a review while I'm still eating, but omg this place was worth the 45 min drive! Heading here, you'll think that you're lost or that there is no way the best taco spot in Orlando is located in the cuts, but trust me, keep driving. Be mindful of the speed bumps, ignore every feeling inside of you telling you to turn around, and drive with your windows rolled up cause it's dusty as hell. You've arrived, but you're probably wondering "where did I arrive at?". Just back your car in, and someone will quickly come to your window to take your order if you're familiar, or walk you through their offerings. The food is inexpensive, and they have a daily happy hour (I got the Birria ramen and two tacos, chicken and Birria, for $12), and they have a variety of drinks. It's cashless, and they bring the reader right to your car. You can even order ahead and just let them know what your vehicle looks like, and someone will bring the food to you. Most folks just grab their food and go, but I witnessed some folks eating while leaning against their cars. It's delicious, authentic, super flavorful, and I'm glad that I made the trip!
Believe it or not, I've lived in Orlando for 7 years now and I have never went out of my way to order from a food truck. I primarily venture into that territory when I'm at Lake Eola for Sunday Farmers market or at another infamous Central Florida festival. This place was brought to my attention by a special person in my day-to-day. I can not describe how mouth watering this food is. I've never had Birria tacos, so why not make this the first and only place that I ever need to know about. As a fan of Cup Noodles, I could not resist ordering a Birria Ramen. The photos do not do it justice. In fact, I almost did not order it because I was quick to assume that there was not enough beef on top in proportion to the Ramen (judgement brought to you by photos). I was wrong. I will go back simply for the Ramen. This food truck is outstanding, the service is wonderful (they came to my parked car as I was looking at the menu and took my order then they brought it out the me) and the drive makes you feel like a true Orlandoian. It's a dive that is worth getting lost for.
Service was great, food was tasty and the menu has great options. The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because the location is a little sketchy lol it's in an area where there's lots of warehouses and semi trucks to get there and when you follow the signs, it says to stay in your car but that part I actually liked because I felt it was super convenient. You pull into a parking spot, scan the menu and someone comes to your window to take the order. I wouldn't want to come here after dark but definitely will be back to try the Birria ramen and flautas, those looked bomb. We tried the chicken tacos and the Birria tacos and both were delicious, well seasoned.
Happy Taco Tuesday! I travel for work and my favorite thing to do when I travel is look for some authentic street tacos and birria. La Eskinna did not disappoint at all what so ever. The amount of meat you get per taco is just wowing. The customer service was great. And the food taste just amazing as it looks. I'm really big on packaging and the way they packaged my tacos and consumé was so neat. I genuinely appreciate them for that. 11/10 highly recommend!!!!!
I heard of La Eskinna through word of mouth. The first time I drove there I was unsure about the location but once I tried their birrias it is undoubtedly one of the best tacos I have ever had. Staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. You can tell they love their business and customers. Today I tried the flautas and I will definitely reorder them. It was fried perfectly but not heavy or overbearing with cheese. I love the street corn, add takis if you like a lil spice. Their regular tacos are all very good - great flavor. The ramen birria is definitely amusing but didn't steal the show. I am a happy regular of La Eskinna - they are a hidden treasure!

I went to eat lunch alone while everyone was out/about at the amusement parks. I found this spot/food truck and was not sure if the directions were leading me correctly because it was in a weird place. I finally saw the truck and was even more excited! A lady came up and told me to park and she took my order on the spot. I ordered the churros, elote , birria tacos. You can choose regular elote or hot cheeto topping. So when my order finally came, I opened the container and saw the tiniest birria tacos I ever seen!! I promise the pics make them look bigger! Delicious forsure so the fun size is not lacking on flavor. Everything was miniature even the churros, again delicious bite size treats. I would definitely come back and bring the rest of the fam, cause they were so jealous of me bragging and showing pics. read more

I have visit a lot of mexican restaurants and food trucks, always looking for the best taco al pastor which are the number 1 street food in Mexico and is this was not the best ,it is my number 1 choice. The meat was moist and super tasty, with a great tortilla and cilantrillo, onions and spicy salsa, uff was just perfect!! The flautas was the same , tasty ,fresh ,the only thing was that they where to small ,but other than that, i recommend everything on the menu!
This food truck is kind of off the beaten path but they have tons of signs that leads you straight to it. You park one of the designated spots and scan the menu with your phone. One of the employees comes up to your car window and you place your order, no need to get out of your vehicle. It only took about 15 minutes for the order to ready. We ordered the birria tacos with the consome which were extremely flavorful and filling. We also ordered chorizo and Asada Tacos; the tortillas were light and there was a nice serving of meat in them. The meat was seasoned very well. We ordered a side of chips and guacamole too. Overall the customer service was great and food was delicious. Well worth the trip! read more

Finally made my way to this hidden gem. I couldn't believe I waited this long to make my way there. As soon as I pulled up I was noticed right away and a nice gentleman came up to my car, handed me a menu I could keep and took my order. I came at around 8:30pm on a Tuesday (taco Tuesday), they were out of a few items (I suggest visiting earlier). Luckily they still had Birria tacos , we also ordered a chicken torta, quesadilla, shrimp tacos and an Horchata. Every single item was exquisite! It was like I had just taken a trip back to Mexico. We will definitely be visiting soon again and again!! read more
Getting to this place is an adventure on its own. I came with my best friend for a little Sunday taco date and it was definitely laid back. Be careful of the speed humps, I didn't see the first one and went over it wayyyy too fast. We popped open my truck and sat in the back to eat since it wasn't too hot. They come directly to you once you park to take your order and bring the food out to you in to-go stuff since most people drive off away. The containers they came in are super cute and fit the taco sizes perfectly. I initially got 3 tacos, one chicken, one shredded beef, and one pastor. The pastor is definitely the best in my opinion. The chicken was ok and the beef was also ok, not too much flavor like I'd hoped. After those 3 I was still hungry so I ordered another pastor taco and the birria ramen. My bestie got the birria tacos and she said they tasted really good. The ramen came really nicely packaged and definitely well secured if you take it home. The flavor was unique, I just wish it had some more fresh veggies in it because it is quite salty. I'd definitely come back here again though, I love how tucked away it is. read more
OH MY WORD!!! I ordered Uber Eats based on the reviews here. I laughed when someone said they wrote a review before they were done eating. I tried to hold off! This is the BEST Uber eats and Mexican meal we have had in years. Everything was SO fresh and incredibly tasty. Great portions for the quesadillas. The tacos were smaller but filling. The mild salsa was like crack delicious, haha. They followed instructions perfectly. The meats were perfectly cooked. We got a variety - tacos, birria tacos, Mexican sandwich, and quesadillas and Mexican corn. Would make the exact order again! read more

Worst part about this place is getting through all the bumps and potholes. They are located at the very end of a dead end, so just keep going to the end until you see them. As for the food, it's pretty good. Here's my opinion on what we ordered: Burria tacos = delish but on the smaller side Chicken taquito = pretty good Esquito = good Loaded asada fries = best value. This thing is massive. The only thing is that it needs something to moisten the fries since they are a little dry. Horchata = good read more

This review can be longer than The Simpson Seasons but I'll relax!! These Tacos and service, beyond A1 like BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! It's a food truck in the back area of a dusty truck road!! I'm about to become a truck driver and park my truck behind this food truck and live there!!! The birria tacos were incredible, just str8 up delicious!! Meat tender, cheese nice and melted, the tortilla nice crisp to it. Everything held together while dipping in the SAUCE!! One bite and explosion of flavors feelings emerge like the day you had your first kiss. It was magical, I had a calling saying to buy more like I just walked out of flight 828!! My daughter loved her little chicken quesadilla, great kids side!! The churros and churro cheesecake were perfect ending. Churros fried lightly to add that beautiful crunch and flaky yet moist inside. Dipped in caramel was just delightful. Oh please please with the churro enjoy a horchata with it, perfect combination and pairs wonderfully!! I'll be back for sure!! Thank you for everything it was SENSATIONAL!!! read more

I would personally like to start off by saying this was amazing the Customer service was excellent, I was having problems finding the food truck and I called I was greeted excellently and they had so much patients with me, the wait time for me was not too long and once I got my food it was amazing the Burrias were flavorful as well as the quesadillas which were my favorite, although the place may see off putting I promise the food will be amazing thank you so much you guys for having me try your food and I will tell EVERYONE about you guys read more

Been wanting to try this food truck for a while and finally made it! Different food truck experience but very easy and convenient to order. They're really friendly and helpful. Tried the birria tacos (of course) and they were so tasty and delicious! Great crunch and flavorful. Also tried the mystery meat quesadilla and it was soooo good. Very meaty and cheesy. The esquites was great too and not to spicy, I got the regular. For dessert we had the churros with the cajeta sauce and it was a perfect ending to the meal. Can't wait to go back! read more
Ok so this was a weird drive, but with some common sense I was able to find this food truck in the middle of nowhere. They give you kind of the Sonic's experience by letting you order from your car and dropping your food off to you and just having you give them a call if you need something else. I never had to leave my seat! It was great, perfect for people social distancing, and just so convenient. I was dying to try their Birria Ramen and they definitely satisfied my craving. Just the comfort food I was looking for. It's just as good as they say. I'm so sad I was too full to try anything else, because I definitely would have called them back for some of their tasty looking tacos. I believe I saw something about them doing tacos for $2.99 each, I would call and ask first though. Overall, great experience and 100% would return. read more
