Big, filling tacos that have a lot of flavor. Good hot sauce selection also they the chef makes herself!. Tried the fish battered taco and enjoyed the salsa and sauces on it. Same with the pulled pork taco. Definitely filling tacos for the price which is a plus. Yellow rice on the side was fresh and seasoned nicely!! Really enjoyed these for the price! A real treat showed up at work today for the lunch hour. Camel Tow Taco has a risque name with amazing tacos. The prices are a good value with great portions. I had a fish taco and a pulled pork taco. The fish had a tempura batter that was crisp and drizzled with a spicy mayo inside a crispy shell. The pulled pork was seasoned well and also topped with the spicy mayo and cilantro. I took my order back to the office and the shell was still crispy and tacos were still hot. The staff was friendly, service was fast and the food was great. It was really cute that they gave you a rock to hold that was painted with the order number on it. I've tried this place before from my mom bringing us some home. However, I attended a food truck event tonight and the customer service was awful. There was no acknowledgment of my presence when I even said hello to the man taking orders. He then proceeded to ask back the man he had served before me with still no acknowledgment of me. I simply just walked away because I refused to spend my money with rude staff. I had already been standing in the sun for some time as well. read more

Holy moly! 5 Stars for AMAZING tacos and very friendly staff. We got two fish tacos and one chicken. The fish taco was amazing. I don't even know what kind of fish it was. It was so juicy, tender and not the slightest bit fishy. The chicken taco was also delicious. The sauce on it was really really yummy. My favorite food truck in Orlando! They come to our office as well as some festivals I have seen them at too. The owners are very nice and really make an effort to know you, even remembering your order from last time! All my coworkers agree they are the best! The fish tacos are the most popular, but they have some other options too that include vegetarian. I wish they had grilled options instead of fried, but they did add a pulled pork taco to the menu recently. I personally thought it was too saucy but that's my personal preference. The seasoned rice is delish. They have some unique sauces for toppings. You can mix and match tacos also for the combo deal. Fish tacos are 1 for $5 or 2 for $9. read more

I went to Edgewood Eats Third Friday on St Paddy's day. I had some less than stellar corn beef and decided to drop by this event on the way home. Several ladies were raving about the vegetable tacos at Camel Tow Tacos. So after checking out the other trucks I headed over to Camel Tow. Customers had driven up just to eat at Camel Tow Taco so I was anticipating some good eats. Since this was my second meal of the night I ordered one taco. As I watched the wonderful food come out of the window I rethought my choice and upped the ante to two tacos (you save a buck too.) I chose one veggie and one chicken. This was hands down the best food I have had from a mobile vendor in the past couple years. The Veggie taco was tempura and had cilantro and a wonderful sauce. I only got a couple bites of the chicken taco before my husband "confiscated" it but from what I remember it was also tasty. If I had to pick a favorite it would be the vegetable taco for it's unique combination of ingredients as well as flavor. I will be on the lookout for Camel Tow and yes I might be one of those customers who drives up just for this truck. read more

I was pleased with the tacos from camel tow tacos but I was hoping for more variety. I had the pulled pork tacos with the corn salsa (because I'm super picky) and they were very good, but I was hoping for more options on them. (Cheese, lettuce and vinegar, salsa, etc.) The staff was very nice and attentive. I received my food very quickly. This truck is only getting 3 stars due to the lack of options for a picky eater. Most of the tacos are seafood, which I don't like, and everything else seemed very complicated. My best advice would be to give more options. Possibly some simplified tacos that play up their amazing meat. I will say the option I did select was very tasty. I would absolutely try them again. read more

This is one of my favorite taco trucks! They come to my job about twice a month. I highly recommend the fish although the chicken and shrimp are also delicious. Oh wow this was super yummy! I only ordered one Tempura Chicken taco as part of their $5 lunch special deal - one taco, chips, and a drink. The owners pointed out the deal. They were super friendly. Their tempura batter came out super crispy as it should, and I absolutely love their sweet chili sauce that they paired with it. Also I have to point out that the tempura was not greasy or tasted greasy, it was perfect. If you look at the photo the chicken strip they give in their tacos are pretty big. The chicken itself was juicy and flavorful with the salsa and sauce. They also toast their soft tortilla slightly so it has a good crunch to it along with the tempura. If I didn't pack my own lunch today I would have ordered more. I'm definitely ordering more next time and will try out the other tacos. read more

I discovered Camel Tow at my office complex during one of their Food Truck Thursday's. This is one of the only trucks I will eat from and she is at the complex about once a month and has yet to disappoint. The tacos are Asian fusion so they are different than your typical tacos but still yummy. The veggie taco is unique but tastes delicious, the vegetables are fried and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Apart from the great food, the owner is a very nice lady and she always makes a point to try to connect with her customers. read more

This food truck came to our work plaza today and i have to say these are hands down some amazing tacos. They are not traditional tacos, but tempura fried but are mixed with some type of slaw and i had one of chicken and one of shrimp. Both were amazing in taste and very large as well. Oh my goodness. I just ate the best vegetarian tacos I've ever tasted in my lifetime!!! They were quickly prepared & smelled like heaven. As a matter of fact, they looked & smelled so good that I started eating them in the elevator on the way to my place. :-) The tempura batter & veggies were so well seasoned and crispy, the white sauce was sooooooo delicious and the slaw at the bottom of the taco was fresh and wonderful. I'm not usually a fan of soft tacos because they don't usually have much flavor and I don't care for the texture, but these soft taco shells were so tasty. As a matter of fact, I was so enamored by these tacos that I looked up the website and called the owners while I was still eating. Can't wait for next taco meal. I made a special trip from work to try this taco truck, only to arrive and discover there were zero gluten free options. They don't have any corn tortillas, only flour, and every one of their meats is breaded. The two ladies working there were very nice and apologetic. It's totally their prerogative to serve whatever they want and miss out on potential customers with food allergies, I just wanted to leave this review to let any celiacs know not to waste their time. read more

This was my first time experiencing a buffet for hispanic food and for this price point in Orlando, this is an amazing value deal. The server regularly brought us out silverware, napkins, and refilled our water. The place is decorated very fun and plays latin music which was lovely Not only was there an unlimited assortment of lunch foods, but an entire bar of fresh toppings for tacos (or rice bowls) and made to order desserts which were included for free! Not everything on the buffet line was the best but given the amount of options, price, and how good the great items are this is still worth a five star rating. I unfortunately did not take pictures of the food before I began devouring everything in sight to the point of near-collapse, but I will do a quick rundown of the buffet highlights: The best meats were the fajita steak, chicken, and shrimp made fresh in cast iron skillets, as well as the chicken lengua which was super flavorful and tender. The mexican rice, beans, fajitas, plantains, and street corn were also excellent. Fresh quesadillas, chips, and corn tortillas on standby with homemade queso and salsas. The flan and mini churros were the best I've ever had. Super rich, decadent Carmel flan. Mini churros hot and crisp on the outside, filled with a gooey soft milk chocolate center. They were delicious. Items that were disappointing: the tamales, mini chicken flautas, and beef chimichangas were just okay, lacking the seasoning and flavor that other dishes had. The beef barbacoa was not as tender or flavorful as the shredded chicken surprisingly. The mixed seafood was itself a mixed bag with some shrimps / scallops overcooked to much while others were perfectly cooked. The chicken mole and beef tri tip were room temperature despite sitting on hot plates. The tri tip also varied widely in doneness throughout the slices and not super tender. The rice pudding was pretty standard, and the tres leches cake was weird as they crumbled the cake into pieces before soaking it.

It's located in downtown, so parking will be either in a meter or a garage. This restaurant serves pretty good tacos at a reasonable price, but the atmosphere was a bit bland for a taqueria. It was also small and can get crowded and full easily. Best to have this to go or delivered. It's still a nice restaurant for tacos in downtown.
