Burnt pancakes, which I did not notice until I kept getting hard material (burnt blueberries) until I flipped them over, greasy sausage that even blotting with a napkin did not help, and greasy eggs that also appear as though grill has not been cleaned in some time. Just nasty, really. Big disappointment as we have eaten at this chain elsewhere and loved. Save yourself some $$ and head to Waffle House instead. read more

I've seldom give anything a 5-star but these always earn an easy 4. Look, two rules- don't worry about the calories and don't fret over the prices. It's all worth it, even if you have to fast for days after. I love everything about Another Broken Egg. We tried bloody Mary's this time- I had the tomatillo and he had the Sriracha. They both come with basically a veggie tray on a stick. Don't order the tomatillo if you don't like cilantro. I loved it, but some people are defective and turned off by the taste. His also had a sausage ball garnish. I mean, come on! Yum! I had the Floridian omelette- crab and cream cheese. He had the lobster omelette. Both magical. The grits are to die for. I always eat until the last bite is literally stuck in my mouth. We had to take the beignets and marmalade with us. Also, I have decided to get a mug at every store so I can stock my cabinets at home. Remember the couple that visited every Cracker Barrel? Another broken egg is One of my wife favorite places to eat. However, this location had a distinct difference. She loves biscuits and gravy and gets it frequently in Texas. The gravy at this location had a "paste" texture and was almost painted onto the biscuits. Not visually appealing and didn't taste good either. My egg white omelette was pretty good, but had 6 full garlic cloves in it, which is way too much. On top of that it took a long time to get food, but at Another broken egg, you can always expect to wait. It's always busy. I'd skip this location. read more

Kids loved their waffles and pancakes so that's always a winner. Our waitress Addison was awesome too. Our second time was about the same: I got sausage which had a wild flavor (not to my liking). Scrambled soft still came hard. Use the Yelp App to check-in while driving there to save a 20-30 wait. Finally: read your menu thoroughly as waitresses don't offer you everything that comes with each menu item. That happened twice to us. read more

Sad. We always look forward to their breakfast. This time, Bananas Foster was basically French toast with pecans and bananas...none of the ooey gooey syrup it is usually prepared in. We decided to grab breakfast before our long road trip back to Memphis. We read a lot of reviews on yelp because we really wanted a great breakfast to end a great vacation. We decided on this place because of the reviews. It was downhill from the get go... We were seated and given menus as usual. We waited and waited and waited. Finally the manger comes over and asked "have y'all been helped?". She took our drink order: 2 waters and one coffee. Our waitress (first we've seen of her) brings 2 coffees and 1 water. I informed her it was 2 waters and 1 coffee and she blamed the manager. She brought another water and disposed of the extra coffee but we're still short a water. She takes our food order, I ordered the biscuits and gravy while the wife ordered banana foster Belgian waffles. My meal comes with either grits or potatoes. As I placed my order the waitress began to close her notepad before I told her if I wanted grits or potatoes. I asked, the meal comes with potatoes? She said yes and walked away, all I could wonder is what if I wanted grits. I put my usual 10 packets of sugar in my coffee and looked for my spoon to stir it. Nope, no spoon. I had to use my fork to stir it. We flagged the waitress down and asked if I can get a spoon and that water I ordered...she brought the water, no spoon... Food arrived and mine was ok. Sausage came with my meal and it had green things in it...parsley maybe I don't know. It wasn't very good, definitely not country sausage, more like Italian sausage. Wife said her meal was ok, no complaints but no compliments either. The waitress name is Savannah. If you decide to go here, do yourself a favor and avoid her as your waitress. Our experience here was just average. The restaurant is decorated nicely and very clean. Our server and hostess were both friendly and attentive. The food was alright, not good enough to come back but I am happy I tried it. I got the lobster brie omelet which was 4/5. My boyfriend had the crab cake benedict and something tasted off in one of his crab cakes. I could not get over the prices for some of the drinks - $10 for a spiked coffee; $5 for a glass of orange juice. Buying a pitcher of drinks also didn't really save you any money. I stopped here for Sunday brunch, and I did not know what to expect. I was definitely pleasantly surprised when I saw they had a full bar and made a mean Bloody Mary. I had their traditional breakfast which was tasty and a pancake on the side. It all tasted fresh, and for a big breakfast it was not greasy. There aren't any vegan dishes on the breakfast menu, but you can easily make a "potato skillet" and add all the veggies you want (same cost as the omelet). Everything is cooked in oil, so you don't have to worry about there being dairy. The service was slow, but it was worth the wait! I'm not a looker but that didn't deter me, because hungry. So I go in, get seated and then wait. I'm guessing that the wait staff wasn't so eager to serve a lone, somewhat disheveled looking person wearing a grungy hoodie and jeans. But hey, it's early and I hate shopping. Finally after a few minutes one of the servers asked me if I'd been served yet. I replied I hadn't so she took my beverage order for a coffee and water and returned in a few minutes. She declared that even though this wasn't her section, I was now hers. She took my order for the Supreme omelette, country potatoes and an English muffin. Fed soon I would be! The food arrived post haste and was quite good. Now I'm no breakfast snob but I've had my fair share of omelettes and this one ranked up there. The potatoes were nice and crispy but not too greasy. My lovely server checked up on me regularly. She was quite cheery and personable, despite the fact that I was a lone diner which I'm sure only spelled meager tip in her mind. When I was ready for a refill she not only filled my mug but brought me a to-go cup as well. We waited almost 3 hours from the time I joined the online waitlist until we had our food in front of us. The waitlist gave us a 30-45 minute wait time for our party of 9. We arrived within the 30-minute window and were told it would be quite a bit longer. No time given. I checked back in several times and even requested separate tables in order to be seated sooner, and was never given an approximate wait time. We waited 2 hours to be seated, and another hour to actually get our food. By the time we ate and got our tickets and received our debit cards back, it was a total of 4 hours. I'm giving 2 stars because the food was good, but it definitely was not worth 4 hours out of our day. read more
