As an extremely avid cat lover, I KNEW I had to come by and poke my head in this little cat-themed cafe. Note: this is NOT a cat cafe; instead, it is a coffeeshop and breakfast/brunch spot with a cat theme -- art, apparel, etc. There's plenty of parking out front. It's connected to a couple other businesses but I had no trouble getting in on a Saturday afternoon. They were taking donations of clothes and other supplies for those affected by Hurricane Helene when I stopped in, so that's nice. The one employee I saw came out promptly and waited patiently for me to make up my mind over what I wanted to order and, more difficult, what merchandise I wanted to take home with me! I eventually wound up with a snickerdoodle cookie to snack on, an ube lemonade to drink, and a very funny cat-themed sticker and pin as souvenirs. My snack and beverage came out quickly. I really enjoyed poking around the restaurant and seeing all the art and merchandise. Super fun and funky vibe. A must-see if you enjoy feline-inspired art and clothing and gifts. My ube lemonade was very unique and very strongly ube forward; I don't know that I liked it enough that I'd order it again, but I'm glad I tried it and I enjoyed the unique creation. The snickerdoodle was a textbook but delicious snickerdoodle, with crispy edges and soft and chewy center. I wish I had time on this vacation to try an actual larger meal offering here, but I'd certainly love to come back in the future to experience that as well. read more

The decaf coffee here was chef's kiss. This was one of our favorite breakfast spots during our visit to Gulf Shores. Finding a good coffee shop is easy, but finding one that also makes a great decaf coffee is hard. The decaf coffee here was perfection. They have something called a Hollah on the menu. We came after breakfast hours, so that was our only egg option. FYI, breakfast is served from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The egg and cheese Hollahs were okay, but we didn't order them again. They were just very bready and average in my opinion. Mine was also not fully heated so the middle was a little cold. I would totally recommend the the other breakfast items and the desserts/pastries over the Hollahs. We got their vanilla cupcake with vanilla frosting, and it was so delicious. The cake had the perfect consistency, and the frosting was divine. Their biscuits and quiche totally hit the spot! The quiche had a flaky yet crisp crust, and the biscuits were one of my favorite items here--and I'm picky with my biscuits. read more

Great place for breakfast, coffee drinks and pastries like cookies for your dining pleasure. I have had breakfast here once or twice and enjoyed it but we mainly stop in for a coffee concoction and some cookies. The cookies are large and aside from being out of some flavors at times we have always enjoyed them. Hours seem to change here more frequently than other places so make sure to verify them. We will return and note: this is near two other great places: Cosmos and Luna so you can stop in here for dessert after you eat. read more

This place was so amazing and cute! The cat decor was a nice touch and added to the experience since there were lots of little jokes and memes. We ordered the waffle with fruit, veggie omelette, and a blueberry muffin to share. They were all so good! The omelette was cheesy and had lots of tasty veggies, the muffin was fluffy and moist with a crystal topping of sugar(also plenty of blueberries!) and the waffles were good. My sister had the homemade strawberry cheesecake pop tart and it was good, with plenty of yummy filling- not like the dry packaged ones! Overall would definitely recommend! We randomly came across BuzzCatz after trying a Starbucks that was closed in the middle of the day. BuzzCatz was a WAY better option. They had tons of fresh breakfast items, baked goods, and coffees. The indoor and outdoor seating areas are spacious and were never crowded even though the restaurant was very busy. Their employees seemed like they wanted to be there, and it made a huge difference in our experience. If not, they've got a great assortment of other sweet and savory items! I was greeted and helped promptly. The gal suggested the Iced Cuban saying it was a popular and strong drink. I went with it. I also ordered a scoop of Bunny Tracks Ice Cream. The Bunny Tracks Ice Cream has little Chocolate Bunnies in it! So cute and tasty! I believe it was Happy Meower (Hour in cat language) when I went. It runs daily from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and features $1 off specialty coffees, 1/2 price cookies and BOGO ice cream scoop. I took home a slice of Key Lime Tart to eat later and a Pecan Praline Cinnamon Roll for breakfast the next day. Both were excellent! Come support this mom & pop shop! It's a cozy place to relax and enjoy some delicious food! If you go to a welcome center in the vicinity, they have free little coupon booklets you can take. My boyfriend got the cinnamon roll breakfast sandwich with the egg over easy and he got biscuits and gravy. The place is small. Not a lot of healthy options or seasonal ones imo. My daughter's cinnamon roll was really hard. My boyfriend liked it but it wasn't on his come back list. You order at a counter and sit down and they bring it to you. Fun little breakfast and sweets spot. I wasn't sure when I saw the "cat" theme, but don't let that deter you, the food is amazing and the staff are super friendly. No cats on the premises, however there was a small dog hanging out with it's owner in the outdoor seating. Not a lot of seating, but plenty of room for a family or small group. The breakfast selection is solid, and the biscuits and eggs top notch. The cinnamon roll with cream cheese was one of the best I've had. Coffee was good, and our vanilla latte is on par with other specialty shops. This place came highly recommended, and they meet and exceeded our expectations. Seems like a great spot for coffee and to read a book, and if I lived in the area it would be a go to spot. read more

BuzzCatz is an amazing cafe. It is so quaint and perfect with a nice style and it's atmosphere is fun and relaxing. The coffee is delicious, they have a full menu and full coffee menu. They have specials daily and swap out different flavors daily. They had homemade pumpkin pop tarts (looked amazing) and so many goodies and treats. Their cinnamon rolls looked amazing and their hollah breads look great! It was busy on a Saturday morning around 10, but the wait was only 10 mins. They are known to have wonderful breakfast bars as well. The cold brew coffee was delicious and had a great flavor to it. The staff was extremely helpful and wonderful and I believe the last Oman who makes most of the items was out front helping with orders when we got there. The staff was very nice and pleasant and made our time very enjoyable. The decor is absolutely amazing. I love all of the signs and art on the walls definitely a great atmosphere.
