This place is a TREASURE. Visiting Foley from out of town, running errands hurriedly, and was drawn in by the sandwich board sign out front, thinking I'd grad a quick drink to go. Felt so good inside atmosphere-wise (art, decor, seating, live music, relaxing environment and sound level, great guests inside) that I decided to get a panini (DELICIOUS) and an iced coffee drink (also DELICIOUS). Our first time visiting this local Java shop and what a great experience! Shay the owner greeted us with a smile and a hello and asked if we had visited before. After we replied no she explained the menu and offered any help and signed us up for the coffee club. (10 paid cups one free). What a wonderful decorated place to bring back your hippie days or to remember your favorite hippie from growing up. The music was perfect for me 60's/ 70's. The past week and I stopped in three times- I had breakfast quiche twice and a Panini for lunch. The cinnamon roll and cheese danish are really good- make sure to get them warmed up. Stooped in to meet a friend here for coffee last week, I enjoyed it so much that I stopped in yesterday for a cup of coffee. First of all, this is not a sterile high tech coffee house. It is a unique oasis of calm, peaceful and diverse artistic surroundings that happens to also deliver a great cup of java. I'm a purist - I drink coffee, just plain coffee. No syrups, no blenders, and nothing frothy. These folks make a solid, high quality brew. Delicious with good body and rich flavor. Highly recommend it. They also offer some great bakery items too. The staff here is polite, knowledgeable and unobtrusive. You can hang out here for hours and not be pestered. Be sure to stop in when you get a minute in Foley - I know I will! read more

Shelly is super upbeat and remembers nearly everyone's name. - Imposter (Sugar free decaf vanilla chai latte) - 20 ounce latte (regularly $5.50; on sale for $5 when we visited) Cons: - Small lobby, but there's seating that faces the street for 5-6 people. read more

This is a neat little coffee shop in the middle of downtown Foley. They offer all of your standard coffee selections, plus some unique signature drinks like Stairway To Heaven, Midnight Rider, Strange Brew and many others, including frozen choices. They also offer a variety of chai tea lattes. Additionally, they feature Piper & Leaf artisan tea special drinks. There is a limited selection of savory and sweet bakery items. I had a 16 oz. latte and the bacon and cheddar quiche for breakfast. Both were very good, for the price, the quiche was too small. Around $4.00 for a very small piece. Everything tasted very good though. I am looking forward to stopping here with the family. If I could I would give this 3.5 stars, so I will give the new place some extra benefit and go with 4. Horrible service. Asked for my bagel sandwhich to go it was on a plate. Understandable to get mixed up with orders. Then when i asked for it to go they just stared at me. I mentioned i had asked for it to go. Instead of apologizing and putting it in a to go container they continued to talk to each other and took their time putting it in a to go container. This is my absolute favorite coffee stop in the area. It has a relaxed, small business atmosphere that's a great contrast to places like Starbucks. The staff are always friendly and always make my friends and I feel welcome. I always get the Bohemian Rhapsody, which is basically a dirty vanilla chai, and it never disappoints. I hate hot coffee normally and I drink those hot in mid-summer. They always have a small selection of baked goods like muffins, and they've always been great when I've needed a bite to eat.
