Solid breakfast option with loads of yummy choices. Hard to choose as there are so many good options. Service was poor, however. I ended up walking to the kitchen to get a to go box for myself as it had been so very long since I had seen my server. Expect a wait to be seated during peak hours. My friends and I came to Nashville for Spring Break and stumbled upon this brunch spot. The restaurant has a cool feature that allows you to add yourself to a waitlist on yelp (similar to call-ahead seating). The waitlist was full when we tried, so we walked to the restaurant and put our name down. On a Sunday morning around 10am, there was an hour wait. The hostess told us she would text us when the table was ready, so we used that time to walk over to the bridge and pop into a few stores. The wait was worth it though because the food was amazing! I got the chicken and waffles, which had the perfect chipotle syrup drizzled on. My friends got the cinnamon roll French toast, which came highly recommended by our waitress. read more

Pretty good! Food was tasty especially the beignets the only reason why this is not a 4-Star review is because of the service. We sat down pretty quickly since we had a reservation but once we sat down it took forever to get our meal after we ordered. We watched the other table come and go even before we got our food and they had the same amount of people. I would go back if I am ever in town again just to give it another try and hope that the waitress just had an off day or something. read more

This was my 1st experience at this establishment and the ambiance was nice and staff was friendly. But unfortunately it took 40 minutes to get scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, an English muffin and an order of chicken and waffles. Food was cold, but still pretty good. Amazing service at the bar from super team of Becca & Teri. Food was terrific. Had the Shrimp & City Grits - delicious. The lobster Brie omelette was astounding. Highly recommend the ABE pepper infused vodka Bloody Mary. The drink comes garnished with a mouth-watering strip of expertly cooked bacon which Becca made sure we enjoyed as the bacon was still being cooked when we ordered our drinks but, busy as it was, she and Teri were on top of everything and delightful and friendly. read more

Checked Yelp for some nearby options for breakfast and came across this restaurant. This was my first time making reservations through Yelp, which I'm so glad we did seeing that the wait was between 25-40 min. Walked into the restaurant, the hostess checked us in. We waited about 10 min if that, which was pretty awesome! I tried the chicken biscuit sandwich. The chicken was nice and crispy, the gravy was excellent. I didn't really care for the potatoes because they were a little dry for my liking. Other than that, no complaints. read more

A great little breakfast spot for out-of-towners to fill up on before a long day on Broadway. The wait is usually pretty long, especially on the weekends, but their online check makes it more bearable. We checked in online and were there at the required time 5 minutes later we were being seated. The food and service were pretty great, but we did have an odd encounter. Something tasted weird with our water, enough so that a table next to us was waiting for our reaction to see if it wasn't just their water that tasted funny. When we asked the server about it we were told they knew something was going on, but guessed the water line and the lemonade line may have gotten crossed causing the water to taste weird. Just a little odd we weren't told this ahead of time if they knew something was off... read more

Everything here was mostly okay. The service was really, really slow. It took almost 15 minutes to have my bloody Mary brought to the table (it was delicious). The food took about another 45 minutes. I had the Lucy breakfast, which again... Mostly okay. The potatoes were delicious. The eggs were okay, but mostly bland. The background noise made it hard to have a conversation across the table. So impressed with Another Broken Egg Cafe. I ordered a breakfast online at 7:00am - simple ordering process. When I got to the restaurant the staff was so polite - they even started a few light conversations with me, not just the formal "hello". The food was SPECTACULAR! First day in Nashville . First time to this city. Starving, we arrived at the restaurant, we were seated and our server appeared. Placed our order, not too long food comes out. I ordered eggs Benedict it is one of my faves, and a banana fosters pancake , with fresh fruit. Fruit was very fresh and I enjoyed it! Pancake was really really good snd I regretted not getting that as my meal, so get a pancake if nothing else ! Eggs Benedict was totally wrong, but by now the server was less than attentive, had to ask for a few things already and he was due rolling. Eggs totally over cooked , English muffin burnt and dry , sauce was good but not much in my plate... It wasn't worth chasing him down , but not the best for what it cost for sure . I will add that it is extremely hard to find real breakfast downtown from what I saw , this place may be the best bet just stick to pancakes and bacon read more

As I walked in this exquisite cafe we were greeting by a stunning young lady who proceeded to take our names. After she completed standard protocol we were taken to our tables, which had a fine wood finish. The menus were clear and to the point. The chocolate milk was extraordinary and its serving glass and style made me feel like a rich man. There is brilliant artwork on the walls with works works by Pablo Picasso and Leonardo DaVinci. There were 3 Mona Lisa's! When I walked in I felt like a ninja turtle. As the wind grasped my ear I knew this is where I wanted to eat. As I received my free Beignets for writing this review I dug my teeth into the succulent goodness of those little balls of angel meat I nearly fainted from the intensity of the flavors. I knew I wanted to have my first baby here and they would cater to my wedding (although, I do not know if they cater.) but the point is I fell in love. More so the Captain Jack Sparrow loved his Jar of Dirt. To anyone who passes up the pure heavenly nature of this establishment will be sorry they did. It's well worth the drive/walk/airplane ride/sail. Not really, it was pretty generic and took forever to get our food. read more

EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE - DAVONA AT ANOTHER BROKEN EGG CAFE! Davona provided PAR EXCELLENCE service that truly deserves recognition! From the moment we were greeted, her professionalism, warm personality, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made the entire dining experience absolutely outstanding. I've been to Another Brolem Egg Cafe a few times recently (one time in mid-July and twice in mid-August) and I have to say every time I've been theres always been great service and great food. The first time we went we had Paul, and he was a great server to have as an introduction to Broken Egg. It was busy but he was able to keep our waters filled, and was on top of our food. The second time we had Athena as our server and she was also great. She was on top of our food and amazing at giving advice for foodstuffs as well as cocktails. The third time around we had Paul again and he was on top of or preferences, even though it had been a month since we had seen him specifically. It was nice to see a familiar friendly face. Overall, the food is amazing and the people are great. I would recommend the Friend Green Tomatoes and Crab Cakes if you want something not to heavy and breakfasty. And their bengiets are on point! They are amazing to share or munch on for yourself. Check out this place in Nashville for a great breakfast/brunch/lunch scene. read more

I recently visited Another Broken Egg in Nashville and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the cinnamon roll French toast was absolutely delicious - a perfect blend of sweetness and texture that made for a memorable breakfast treat. However, the service left much to be desired. Our server, Jonathan B, was inattentive and dropped off the check without asking if we wanted anything else. This felt rushed and unprofessional, especially since we might have considered ordering more. Additionally, we were a large party, and instead of asking how we would like the check split, it was assumed and handled without consultation. This caused unnecessary confusion and frustration. Overall, while the food was fantastic, the service needs significant improvement to match the quality of the dishes. If you're planning to visit, be prepared for great flavors but potentially subpar service. read more

We stopped in for breakfast and it did not disappoint! The Mardi Gras Omelet was loaded with flavor -- perfectly fluffy eggs packed with shrimp, crawfish, andouille sausage, and that creamy hollandaise sauce on top tied everything together beautifully. It's rich, spicy, and full of New Orleans flair. The Lobster & Brie Omelet was equally impressive -- tender chunks of lobster with a buttery texture, melted brie, and a light cream sauce that felt indulgent without being too heavy. It's definitely a dish you'd expect from a fine brunch spot, not just a casual breakfast café. Service was friendly and fast, the coffee was smooth, and the vibe was relaxed but upbeat. Whether you're in the mood for something decadent or savory, this place has you covered. Highly recommend for a weekend brunch or special breakfast outing! read more

So I went to this location yesterday, and was waited on by the manager herself Kimberly! She was extremely kind, and took the time to ask if I had any questions about the menu, and even made suggestions that were helpful! She was attentive, and at the time of my arrival the restaurant was spotless. During my wait the gentleman mopping the floors also asked me how my day was, and the overall ambiance of the place was phenomenal. The food was fresh and delicious and my overall experience was great from beginning to end! I shared with the manager how a few years prior I had a bad experience and hadn't been back since, but after the service I received I definitely will be returning! read more

We had never eaten at Another Broken Egg Cafe before. What a pleasant surprise!. It was not at all what we expected. The food was delicious and the service was phenomenal. The fried green tomatoes and crab cake appetizer was delightfully tasty. I had steak and eggs liked I had never had before. The steak was cooked and served on skewers. The seasoning was perfect and the steak melted in your mouth. My husband had the supreme omelet. It was loaded and covered with real melted cheeses. We are definitely fans and will eat there again soon. Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience. read more

The service was exceptional, but the food left much to be desired. I ordered the Mardi Gras Omelette, which was overcooked to the extent that the seafood was chewy and the eggs were dry. My husband found his Biscuits & Gravy delicious. Our server was both friendly and diligent, ensuring our water and coffee were consistently replenished. Regarding the ambiance, it was very casual but unfortunately not up to cleanliness standards. A thorough cleaning, including wiping down the sticky chairs, would greatly improve the dining experience. read more

Such weird customer service. Every friend of mine or coworker that has been to this place, always has an issue with the workers returning their credit cards back to them after paying. When telling that to the manager, they just smile and say "thank you, come again" very weird like almost as if its their way of saying fu** you, who cares. Lol Its a shame. Its close to our work office and people want to go here but they have been shitty to too many employees that now its a joke regarding them and no one wants to go back. read more

It was a really nice day out so we had marked in our reservation that we wanted patio seating with a view. We were seated at a standard height half-booth table that did not have a view over the railing so it was kind of a waste. The booth material was also cracked/peeling along the seam so it was pinching my thighs (I was wearing a dress) and was uncomfortable. The food was just okay. It's definitely on the pricier side for brunch in Nashville, albeit probably in line for 12S. My partner's French toast was little burnt. The best thing was the truffle parm fries, but mainly because of the dipping sauce. I had the Beverly Club but it wasn't anything special and a little pricy for what it is.
