Service is good but food is WACK.... Cold coffee, stale potatoes the hot sauce couldn't even rehydrate these potatoes smh. Bring someone here you don't like... read more

The food here is always so yummy!! The service is decent, they can easily get swamped but my food is so delicious I don't mind it too much

It pains me to have to leave this review, as this has been a favorite brunch spot for me for several years. But after four consecutive bad experiences, I have now downgraded this particular restaurant off as one of my go-to brunch spots. Today was the deciding factor when I ordered and received cold pancakes, burnt slices of bacon and cold eggs. I requested a re-make, which I received with an apology from the manager. I could have lived with the mistake had it not been the fourth time I've had the same issue in recent visits. Also factoring in being told by the wait staff that the cooks wanted to put my substandard plate in the microwave to heat and re-serve to me. The wait person intervened and got the manager involved, who had them re-make the whole order. Although I am grateful for the intervention, the whole experience left me feeling dissatisfied and distrusting in the restaurant. read more

Went here with my dad who's extremely picky about his coffee. If the coffee doesn't measure up, he'll get up and leave...lol! Needless to say, the coffee was outstanding and the breakfast was even better. I wasn't a fan of the breakfast potatoes, but everything else was delicious. The atmosphere is nice and the service was good as well. Great breakfast spot that I will visit again. read more

Shrimp and grits ( city style) were delicious. Also the signature bloody mary was amazing. Reasonable prices and nice portions. I would definitely recommend this place for breakfast or brunch read more

What a pleasure to walk into a restaurant and immediately feel welcomed. I must have been greeted by at least three employees who were all very pleasant. I am a sucker for eggs benedict and immediately told the waitress that was what I wanted. It came right out and was probably the best I've ever had. Good portion size and came with grits that were light and fluffy. Very nice atmosphere, prices were fair for the location. I live 45 miles away but if I am ever back in the area I will definitely visit again. read more

Great place!!!!! Love it. Been there at least 5 time. Delicious yummy food and great service!!!! French toasts are delicious and they come With eggs and meat. Price is also great considering the amount and quality of food you get. My husband always order something sweet such as panqueques and I order savoury such as a omelet, then we split! read more

Great food... great service!! The bacon is "baked" and incredible!! Love to hang out at the bar and watch the activity although we don't drink!! Thanks everyone at the Broken Egg Vintage!! Favorite Saturday morning hang out read more

Please bring the chilaquiles back!!! My husband and I came for our anniversary breakfast, but they no longer had our favorite dish.

I really like this place. I would say that by far this is my favorite breakfast place. I liked that it is kinda cozy with it's homey decor. I like that you get coffee in cute little mugs. Oh and I also really like the brewed coffee. There are a good amount of breakfast options, and even some lunch items. I've had several of their plates, and the majority have been delicious, such as the pancakes, the waffle sliders and several of their eggs Benedict options, which in my opinion are the best things on the menu. In fact the great food that I have had here keeps me coming back. However I will mention that the two less that perfect meals I've had here were both fully-cooked egg items. One was an omelette and most recently, their limited time Frittata, which essentially was a flat open omelette, not a true Frittata. You know how when you overcook egg it gets all dry and crumbly? That's exactly how those meals were. I don't know if it's because they are overcooking the eggs, or if my food sat back in the kitchen a little too long, but I am avoiding the traditional egg dishes at Another Broken Egg from here on out. Asides from that tho, I like the coffee, atmosphere and friendly service here too much to keep a couple of dry omelets from ruining this place for me. read more

1st timer, met an old friend for brunch. She had the shrimp and grits while I had chicken n waffles. I had to pass on the Chipotle honey like sauce and the syrup was kind of watery but I enjoyed my food. The waffle was cooked well, very brown the way I like it. The chicken was more of a tender than a wing or breast but it was moist. The shrimp n grits was well seasoned and savory. This was a lovely lil cafe with a old home type of feel. read more

Placed an online order at 11:00am said it would be ready at 11:30am, I show up at 11:45am and order isn't ready. Kitchen lost it or forgot I don't know. I had to wait until 12:05pm fo get my food, finally get home and order is wrong. The didn't do any of my special instructions. Not to mention the staff either has their masks off, down to their chin, or wearing them incorrectly, not covering their nose. Such a disappointment, I drive an hour to get food here. read more

One of the best brunch places I've ever been too it was really amazing . Our Sever Jenny was the sweetest ever she really made the experience so much better. Their food is very flavorful, like the fried green tomatoes are absolutely delicious and I hate tomatoes. I've never had a Bloody Mary before so she brought a little shot glass to try it out which just made me so happy but it's really good the mimosa are good a strong I would recommend to eat here over any other brunch place I give it a 10/10 rating . Ps eat outside when it's early enough it's so beautiful. read more

Yes!! Perfect breakfast place for a variety of breakfast food and alcoholic breakfast beverages! Highly recommend, great service, great food, great ambiance. However, if you don't want to wait 45 plus minutes on a Saturday or Sunday to be seated, this is not the place for you read more

Long wait time if you go early but they ask for your number and will call/text you when a table is ready. Food was very good. Server was very polite. However there was another server that would yell and complain to my server. That's not very professional. I tipped my server and was on my way. Please make sure that your servers are courteous and polite and behave professionally. read more

Decided to try this place on a Sunday, so there was a line outside of the restaurant and the waiting time was 30 minutes but since it was so packed it took 45 minutes. After being seated I ordered the supreme omelet with orange juice and the biscuit and my wife ordered the cinnamon roll French toast and a order of biscuits with gravy and she got the French roast cold brew. The omelet I ordered was great and very savory, the orange juice is freshly squeezed and tasted fantastic and was not too sweet or bitter either. My wife's French toast came along with syrup, creams cheese icing and fosters sauce my wife said she loved it but I am not the type to order a sweet pastry for breakfast. Also the biscuits and gravy tasted home made and has full of flavor. Over all the food was awesome and worth the wait. read more

This place is awesome. I have irregular work hours and I eat at this place all the time

The food was absolutely what I expected.. DELICIOUS. I went during rush hour and had to wait a little while but it was definitely worth it. I'm only in Houston for the weekend and I'm definitely going back before I leave. read more

Service was absolutely horrendous. I am a server myself and usually don't complain because I understand that things get busy, but this was just ridiculous. First, our server took awhile to get out drinks, but that was no big deal. Then, we sat with empty drink for 30+ minutes. There was a 20 person party sat after us and the entire staff seemed to only care about them. No one offered to fill our drinks or ask if we were doing okay. It was like our table was completely invisible. We had to wait over 30 minutes for our server to even come over and see that we still hadn't even gotten our food or our drinks refilled. The food was good, but the terrible service ruined our entire experience. read more

Our first time checking this place out and it did not disappoint. We left so full. Everything we ordered was delicious. Those city grits were awesome, creamy grits with bacon, diced tomatoes and green onions! Service was great as well. Very friendly staff. We will definitely go back! read more

I don't normally leave reviews, but my experience today here warranted one. It was possibly the worst dining experience I have had in the last 5 years. Our group of 8 was seated and our order taken. We then waited almost an hour for our food, during which time our waiter ignored and avoided us leaving us without refilled drinks or any update on when our food would be arriving. When we finally were able to ask we were told they had a lot of to go orders and were backed up. Not sure why to go orders were being filled ahead of customers in restaurant but ok. When the food finally arrived it arrived it was incorrect and cold in some cases. Due to the slow service we were expecting at minimum an apology but had hoped some part of the meal would be discounted. We were given the full bill with a 20% tip already included (due to us being a party of 8) and no apology or explanation. Worst experience in a long time, we will not be returning. read more

From the first time i went to this place, I was hooked!! This place is right around my college, do it's the perfect place to go when class is cancelled or we have some extra time. I ordered the eggs Benedict, which I LOVED!! The eggs were perfectly poached, and the holandés sauce was creamy perfection. I also tried the banana foster pancakes that my friend ordered, and they were delicious as well. This has definitely become our 'go to' brunch place in the area! read more

I am a frequent flyer here. The Wait staff is amazing and on the ball. They know their product and can give suggestions. The food is delicious. I have tried almost all the food on the menu (except anything with seafood) and have not been disapointed. read more

Ordered pick-up and arrive 4 minutes after scheduled time. The food is stone cold. The manager took too long to come over (Linda) but when she did, she offered no apology, just said the kitchen can remake it. They remade, she again offered no apology and didn't offer to take anything off my bill for the inconvenience. Not to mention, I literally called the establishment FIVE times over the 1:15 between placing my order and the scheduled pick-up (which was their earliest available by the way); no one answered a single time. I wanted to ask for toppings on the side but at this point, why bother in person. I arrive and ask the hostess about the phone situation and she says she doesn't have the phone. I mentioned this to the manager as well. She had nothing to say about it. I just want come here anymore. Horrible service read more

Absolutely love there brunch items. Cinnamon roll French toast is delicious!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a good brunch spot close to home and I'll be back for sure. Only complaints are, my crab cake Benedict was a bit dry and I wish they offered just a normal Bloody Mary instead pepper infused vodka. My boyfriend got chicken and waffles and i tried some it was delicious! Coffee options are great too. read more

Love the menu here! The variety makes things interesting and a step above ihop. A fave of mine is the crab cake Benedict and the goat cheese pancakes. Ahhh. So good. Oh, also I've ordered the chicken and waffles and though a little basic, the waffles are so good the dish does not disappoint. I also love that I can get an adult breakfast beverage. Nice for a weekend splurge. And it is a splurge cause the prices aren't the cheapest, but for the quality - I would still recommend. It gets pretty busy on weekends after about 9am or so, so plan a trip early! read more

I got the peach cobbler pancakes and wasn't quite sure what to expect. The service was great I went with my kids and my brother and he got the gluten-free pancakes (I forgot what the kids got) but mine was SO GOOD! It wasn't too sweet it had the taste and flavor profile that you would expect from peach cobbler but in the form of pancakes. My kid keep eating my peaches, it had some granola in it the pancakes themselves were fluffy & delicious. I also had the Anadolie sausage which was spot onwith just the right amount of heat. read more

The experience we had today was fantastic. We called ahead/reserved for ten of us to have breakfast at 9:30am. The host were great at managing the morning crowd by each individual party. Our server, whom I can't recall at the moment (I think his name was Jordan, Caucasian descent, brown short her, pleasant tone of voice), worked with me to prepare a dish at my request that I always get at breakfast diners. They made a scramble for me with the potatoes, vegetables, no eggs, no meat. I am so grateful for him and his team members working together to please all the guest at this location. read more

I can't tell you how much I love this place. All the wait staff I;ve had have been outstanding. Though, Alex if you can get him is delightful. I LOVE the mardi gras omelet. IT has shrimp, crawfish and sausage with cheese. I am usually not over that side of town, but it was near the hospital, so we gave it a go. My husband and I are foodies and this is our favorite breakfast place now. Try the peach granola pancakes or the banana foster pancakes, OMG! It's heaven!! read more

Going to be honest the food was good but the cost was way way too high. There's local restaurants around here that are owned by our neighbors that we should be eating at.. again the food was good I can't really complain but for the cost I wasn't that impressed. Right down the street there's two local breakfast places that aren't owned by corporations you really should be eating there.. read more

Im writing this on my wife's account. I'm only giving this place one star because I can't give it zero stars. Why the zero stars? Because we didn't get to eat. We got there and put our name on the list and they told us it was going to be a 40 minute wait. So we waited, and kept seeing people leave the restaurant after they were done and the people ahead of us going into to get their seats. Which is fine. After 40 minutes we kept waiting and waiting and it says there were 2 parties ahead of us, then one. So my friend went in to check and they claimed that they called our party 20 minutes and that no came up so they took our name off the list. Complete bullshit. Also they even said they would text us when our table would be ready and they didn't. They offered to put our name back on the list so we said don't bother. They can go fuck off. This place is a joke. Unprofessional. We will be taking our business elsewhere. We shouldn't have to wait that long for breakfast food. Get off your high horse. read more
