Another Broken Egg Cafe is a popular brunch restaurant in Elkridge. It's located on the end in a shopping center with free parking. I recommend putting yourself on the waitlist before arriving because it was busy on a Sunday early afternoon. Service was a little slow but staff were nice. I ordered a strawberry mimosa which was good. I was a little disappointed in the cinnamon roll French toast. It was good but the cinnamon rolls were straight from the can and tasted store bought instead of homemade French toast. My friend ordered pancakes, eggs, and bacon and she said her food was good. read more

Another Broken Egg Cafe - Cinnamon Roll French Toast - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Elkridge, Maryland

We tried Another Broken Egg Cafe one Sunday in early summer. They definitely draw a crowd. I joined the wait-list in advance online. When we arrived the first hostess could not find my name on the list and kept asking my name several times. Another hostess immediately found it. The wait was significantly longer than what was quoted but I realize that happens sometimes. When two seats opened at the bar we sat there instead. I ordered the Bourbon Street Pancakes, side of house made sausage and eggs. Unfortunately the pancakes were rather dry and the flavor was missing. It was very disappointing because this dish should've been really good. Most reviews give Another Broken Egg Cafe a strong rating so maybe this particular Sunday was an off day. Perhaps I'll give it another try some day. read more

Great vibe and menu. My food came out in a very timely manner. I had the apple fritter French toast and the ice coffee it was really good. First time in a while that I finished all my food! The service was really good as well. The manager was also very friendly. read more

The pumpkin waffle and maple syrup with a side of eggs and bacon was great. The service was great and attentive on coffee refills. The only drawback was the space was noisy with much conversation. I think there were no materials on the walls to absorb the sound. read more

Another adventure for breakfast. Found this one on a search and was pleasantly surprised. Got the southwest scramble. Big portion but way to greasy. Hubby got sausage a gravy, could have used more gravy less pepper. Bloody Mary was good. Restaurant had ample seating indoor and out. Service was fast in beginning but completely died off. Parking is ample. All in all, was a good find and would try again if out that way. read more

Another Broken Egg Cafe - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Elkridge, Maryland

We've fallen completely in love with Another Broken Egg in Elkridge. In the last month alone, we've come here for brunch three out of four weeks -- that's how much we enjoy it. From the very first visit, the experience stood out. We came with my in-laws, my husband, and our two youngest children (a toddler and an infant), and the manager greeted us at the door with such warmth. She brought a sling for our baby's car seat, shared photos of her own baby (around the same age!), and even brought a little fruit bowl for our two-year-old. That level of kindness set the tone for the entire meal and for every visit since. The food is delicious. This restaurant easily ranks in our top two fave brunch spots in the entire Baltimore metro area, and we are serious restaurant goers. We especially appreciate their spin on normal breakfast items, like the Apple (Fritter) French Toast. It is crispy, crunchy, and perfectly paired with the butter rum sauce. We've also enjoyed the cocktails, like the blueberry mimosa and the cold brew Maker's Mark bourbon cocktail. But what truly makes Another Broken Egg special is the service. The manager and servers are consistently attentive, kind, and genuine. It feels like a community-oriented, family-friendly space where kids are not just tolerated but truly welcomed. The staff even remembers us when we return, which makes it feel like a true neighborhood gem. If I had one small critique, it would be that the homestyle potatoes don't quite match the incredible quality of the rest of the food -- they're good, but everything else is exceptional. I'd also love to see a potato scramble dish added to the menu someday. I know it would be amazing with the flavors and creativity this kitchen brings to every plate. If you're looking for a brunch spot that delivers phenomenal food, heartfelt service, and a warm, inclusive atmosphere, we can't recommend Another Broken Egg in Elkridge enough. read more

Wow wow wow........is all I can say!!!! I assume this was just another breakfast joint like IHOP.....WRONG!!! From the white table cloths on the table to the top notch service to the fabulous food!!! Did I mention the food.......! We had family in town visiting that we kept missing one another so our last try to meet up was to have breakfast if we could...WE DID! To start off we got the house bread which were donut balls to me with syrup that was actually good!! I ordered chicken n waffles which I say was the best I've had so far because the chicken was seasoned to perfection with a warm and fluffy waffle!!!! Next up was the shrimp and grits that was seasoned and very good also!!!! The pancakes was also fluffy and with the cream and chocolate syrup complimenting each other perfectly!! The bacon was crispy and cooked perfectly!! The lemon punch was pretty good too and the coffee was very fresh!! This was also a Father's Day treat too and it did not disappoint! The service was A+...our water had a tattoo on his neck, I asked what it meant and he stated love....i told him that was some playa playa sh.....! We had a really good time!! Run...don't walk and give this spot a try!! read more

Everything we had was cooked and seasoned perfectly. By far the best grits I've ever had! The service was pretty bad. I think we had a new server, but he never brought our drink order, and he came back only after we had finished eating to ask how everything was. We asked for the check, and he never returned to take the payment, so we had to go to the bar to sort it out--especially since he had also charged us for the missing drink order. The bartenders were great, though! They discovered the drink had been made, but he never picked it up. They took it off the bill. The food makes up for the not-so-great service--very tasty brunch spot! read more

Nice breakfast spot. The servers were very friendly and accommodating. The food was good, I will likely visit again. read more

Service is friendly and timely. Many breakfast options. My favorite are the scrambles.

I was looking forward to trying this spot because of the rave reviews so I went on a sleepy weekday morning. First, the parking lot has a very weird set-up. But I found the place and got a table, no problem. Although the first table they sat me at was an abysmally tiny booth by the door, I was swiftly relocated to a proper sized booth. I ordered classic eggs benny, coffee and juice. I must say the eggs benedict were superb! They were served hot with fresh ingredients, simple yet full of flavor. They came with a bowl of pedestrian potatoes. Coffee was good. Juice was delivered in a tumbler. Service was fine. Here's the problem: the price. After tip, my humble breakfast was $35 bucks! That's way too much for what I had - and the reason this spot gets only four stars. But, more important, the price is the reason I won't return. Too bad. read more

I chose this place to have breakfast with my husband for Father's Day. Atmosphere is great a lot families were there early. It was a good decision. Food was delicious and was served promptly. Friendly staff. Clean place and nice outdoor seating area. read more

Ate here second time- place was packed so I am glad to hear they are doing well but had very mehwexperience- beignets are good but a little too dry and overbaked- I had hash brown eggs Benedict which actually was pretty good but really don't need a side of potatoes with it- we also got their biscuit sandwich which was okay but came out so soaked either gravy and egg that the sandwich fell apart on first bite - taste was not bad- service was okay- the waitress did not know what the biscuit sandwich was -then she took my credit card and I had to go back to retrieve it(yes that is my fault too) - prices are okay but entrees a little small for the price you pay read more

Our first time here and on Father's Day! Line out the door. We sat at the bar to avoid the 30 minute wait. GREAT service at the bar! The food was very very good. The place is much bigger and nicer than I expected. Highly recommended! read more

Stopped in for a Father's Day breakfast with the hubby. Very busy, so we sat at the bar. Samir was EXCELLENT and the hubby says food was fantastic. Everyone was super friendly. Only downside was no vegan breakfast options, so I just had fruit. I think it's a bit pricey, but the place is also beautiful. read more

Tried Another Broken Egg Cafe today with my lovely girlfriend. Although the restaurant was busy, we were seated instantly. I ordered the chicken and waffles with a side of breakfast potatoes and a Peach Palmer while my girlfriend opted for the apple fritter French toast, eggs, bacon and orange juice. We got an half-order of biscuit beignets with honey marmalade to split. The food was all amazing! Our waiter, Michael, was attentive and made sure that we were satisfied with everything. The restaurant was loud but not overbearingly so. It's definitely worth many return visits to try different things on the expansive menu. Can't wait to try other things! read more

Came in for brunch on Sunday. Joined the wait list before we got there which was clutch bc it was a 30 min wait. We split pancakes. We got a breakfast chicken sandwich which was fried chicken over medium egg and pimento cheese on a biscuit. Very good. Also go th southwest scramble. The potatoes on the side were a bit oily. Wish the chorizo was spicer but the food was over all really good. Food came out it fast. Our server was decent. Will return. read more

The place is awesome! I went on Sunday for the first time and I enjoyed it! There was a wait. However,it wasn't super long. Join the wait list. They have a plethora of breakfast options, including delicious drinks and mocktails. I look forward to returning for another delicious meal. read more

Another Broken Egg Cafe - Mardi Gras Omelet, English muffin and home fries. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Elkridge, Maryland

The service was great and our food came out quickly. It was hot and everything i had was delicious. The cheese grits just needed salt and pepper but they had a good amount of cheese. The lemon pound cake French toast had this caramelization that added to the great taste. The blackberry mule they recommend to pair with it was good just didn't taste like any alcohol in it. It's a nice family oriented breakfast/ lunch spot. I will be back to try the Lobster Brie omelette. read more

First time to this location, but ive been to a location in Vegas and Charlotte and was honestly underwhelmed with the shrimp n grits. My family got a gift card that we decided to use last week and man did the is experience change my mind. It was my parents first time here, we live 40mins away.. they are itching to come back. Heres what we got: Southwest Scramble- chorizo, peppers , onion, scrambled egg with side guac and salsa. Absolutely delicious and huge portion. Side of City Grits was really good! Lemon pound cake french toast - it's a beefed up lemon pound cake! Dessert for breakfast. Mom was very satisfied Apple fritter french toast- I havent seen my dad have such a visceral reaction to a dish in a while. He couldnt stop talking about this one.. they fought for the last bite! And the mardi gras omelette- tasty.. stuffed with the ingredients. Dad's only critique was the sausage could have been cut smaller. My only critique was that we ordered the biscuit beneigts - they never came (and I'm glad they didn't), but we missed that it was still included on the tab. Maybe they'll give me credit on my next visit! Again, we'll all be back! read more

While searching for a brunch spot nearby, I came across this gem. (: The atmosphere is cozy, clean, and cute! The staff were friendly, and the service was terrific. All the food that I tried was excellent, besides the turkey bacon. The turkey bacon was overcooked, so it gave that rubbery texture. Just a heads up to all the coffee lovers: coffee does taste stronger than usual. I will be back here as my go-to brunch spot! read more

Hi! Totally forgot pics but that's how good the food was y'all! Even the hot chocolate! Service was fairly good considering the crowd. No reservations however you can check in ( wait list) on your phone when you're close depending on where you live. The in and outside of the restaurant had a good vibe. I love the corn hole but it was too chilly for me to play. Dress is whatever your mood is. I had waffles, grits, fried eggs and andoulle sausage, it was good! Parking is a lot and overflow is a garage underneath with steps and elevator. I didn't like the garage because I'm creepy but the garage itself is fine. Pricing is reasonable. Try it! read more

We went here on a whim based on what was in the area. The place is pretty big with lots of seating. Service was great. Our server was really nice and attentive. I got the fruit and honey waffle which comes with eggs and a choice of meat. The honey sauce was very sweet and was not what heavier in texture than I expected. Their breakfast sausage is said to be homemade. It was really good! Possibly my favorite thing that we got. My fiance got the lobster and Brie omelet with a side of Bourbon Street pancakes. Pancakes sauce was very sweet. The omelet was really good if you like creamy fillings. Overall, great experience. Would likely go back to try other things. Environment was very typical of a suburban-ish breakfast/brunch place. read more

We were seated immediately and brought menus. Our waiter, Aiden, came with water and to take drink orders very soon after. Food came out timely and such lovely presentations. My friend had a lunch duo of half a chicken salad sandwich that looked scrumptious, and she said it was. Paired with chicken tortilla soup that she said was good, but with a consistency more like chili than soup. I had a southern fried chicken salad which was enormous. The greens were crisp, the tomato and red onion slices firm and tasty, the chicken was fried to perfection and not at all greasy, and the sliced hard-boiled egg topped it nicely. It comes with honey mustard dressing, but I'm sure you could sub something else as it's on the side. We each had a mug of decaf after, and my bill was only 21.97 excluding tip. I brought half the salad home, so that was a very reasonable price for two meals! May I add, several reviewers have commented that it's pricey. Well, if you don't have a lunch or other special, I'd have to agree. But the quality was outstanding and portion large, so it's probably worth it. read more

I ordered the crab cakes Benedict...it was like a TEMU order: I got rubbery muffin with HALF a crumble crab PATTY..NO hollandaise sauce.and end of leftover potatoes. Worst ever and never again for $30.00 read more

I might get back and give this place another try. Service was 4.5 stars, the waitress forgot my lemon for my water. However, so did I. I suppose the issue was she didn't write it down and we were the only ones in the restaurant it was open for less than 5 minutes when we arrived. My eggs Benedict had way too much hollandaise sauce. The pancakes were ok. The ambiance in the place was good. We were checked on by multiple staff members. The food was 3 stars. read more

Mediocre food that came out lukewarm; and the service was horrible. We waited 30 min after showing up on time after a "your table's ready text". So many issues w this place I can't begin to describe. Nah I will just return to the local fave, JAM Eateries, and leave this one alone. read more

The food will not disappoint. My favorite is the biscuits & gravy with andouille sausage. Be prepared for a 30 minute wait to be seated but it's so worth it. Our server was awesome. She checked on us regularly. All this place needs is some music and it would definitely be a whole vibe. read more

We, a party of 3, unknowingly went on opening weekend for brunch, so issues are sure to come up. Here is our timeline: We got there around 9:45, got seated at 10:45 (after being told the wait would be about 10-15 minutes). Ordered within 20 minutes of sitting, but didn't get our food until 90 minutes later. At that point, we just asked for containers to take home the food. Everyone ordered a hot chocolate, none of which were even warm. We decided to stay and wait since we understood there will be lots of thing to learn for the staff but, boy, was it a mess. The servers didn't know what was going on. The manager looked liked he was trying to blow out fires left and right. Every one was very friendly, but unfortunately, friendly is not enough when you're trying to operate a restaurant. Perhaps the food would make up for the wait? Nah. Especially for the price. Still nah. read more

Omg this place has the Best food! It is absolutely amazing!!!! Service is great! You'll come back trust me!

My partner and I have visited this place, Another Broken Egg Cafe a few times and it's a pretty good spot. It had a pretty cool look to the place, fun, relaxed but somewhat modern. The service is usually pretty good as it was this time. Only a slight delay between menus and taking orders. I ordered the Sunrise Spinach Scramble and it was good, not amazing. It has spinach, onion and bacon mixed in with the egg topped with some cheese. The flavor was a little one sided with the bacon taking the lead, maybe too much bacon overpowering the rest of the flavors. Not bad but could have a better balance. We also got the biscuit beignets and they are amazing! A must add on to any breakfast here. The side of fruit was okay, the grapes were nice and ripe. Overall a good place worth checking out but don't expect mind blowing food (maybe with the exception of the beignets), just good eats. read more

The ambiance walking in was nice. The outside area had cornhole boards out for people waiting and the patio area was open as well. Inside was bustling with people and a good chatty vibe. It was brightly lit, simple decor and clean. Our server was efficient and quick. The food was good. Nothing too wild or over the top. Pretty basic as far as flavors. I wish I would have gotten a more "signature" dish like the French toast or one of the interesting pancakes. The "biscuit beignets" have a thicker density like a biscuit rather than the airy dough of beignets. It was paired with an apricot honey jam and it was good. The bacon on my daughter's meal was not good (A bit hard). Our server noticed the beignets didn't come out before our meal and immediately went to go grab them which I appreciated. In addition, the high chair we were give was very clean! Most restaurants high chairs are greasy and gross so that was a plus. Overall, good experience and would recommend to others. read more
