Cool cafe. Plenty of seating, warm homey vibe. Sometimes cafes with extensive menus are a bad thing, but these folks are the exception. Customer service was Elite. Multiple hosts checking on each table even managers. The food came out fast, everything felt and tasted fresh. A definite place to come visit. Me and Mami ordered the following: Her -Ice Nutella late - 8/10: not too sweet. Good balance, some might want it to be sweeter. -Chorizo burrito - 9/10: extremely flavorful. Would be a 10 if there was more of whatever sauce the chorizo was cooked with. Me: Tropical blend smoothie - 8/10: a good and simple fresh smoothie Santa Fe omelette - 10/10: Wouldn't change a thing. If you love sauce, some more go the crema can be added but isn't needed. Try this Home fries - 10/10: well seasoned and perfectly crisp. Curious George French toast - 7/10: Wished it was a little softer ie crispy outside soft inside. Felt like it was a bit overcooked, hard to cut. Amazing toppings and doesn't need syrup. Food rating: 52/60 Customer service rating: 15/10

It's good for breakfast and lunch. . Very plenty portions. Service was good. And the lady (I think she is the owner) came and interested us which was nice! . I like the kimchi fries and chicken rice soup. It wasn't what I expected but it was good. Tomato soup was thick and I think the presentation was on the wrong bowl. It was difficult to eat on this bowl...

A few steps above your average cafe. The location is a little hidden so you would want to use a GPS or you could definitely miss it. I grabbed a breakfast meal the other day. Decided I would stay and eat there since the ambiance was so cute and welcoming. There was no wait and plenty of seating around 10am. It's self seating but they also help with seating if you have any questions. There's a parking lot but there isn't much parking since these business aren't servicing people who would be staying long. I will say the staff was very friendly and kind. I would go back and have breakfast anytime. Three stars because the eggs were not great and I had to ask for utensils and condiments.

Good brunch spot! Nice laid back atmosphere and very approachable. It wasn't too crowded during our visit and we felt quite relaxed. I enjoyed a breakfast sandwich that was essentially egg, cheese, crispy hash brown, and a tasty sauce. I thought it was a unique dish with flavors that worked quite well together. Service was great as well. Enjoyed it!

We had such a nice brunch here --they have an extensive menu of classic breakfast and lunch options. In addition, they have more than a few Korean dishes and crepes. I ended up ordering the Baltimore crepe with an egg. Crab and Old bay....or was delicious. This is a second location of Cafe. EZ. service and food were OUTSTANDING!!

I have to admit, when I visited this place shortly after they opened a few years ago, I didn't care for it and never returned. But this week a friend wanted to meet there mid-week for brunch so I agreed. I am so sorry Cafe Ez! This visit was fabulous!! Our server was so sweet and took care of our every need. I ordered the stuffed omelet with potatoes and toast, my friend had the "Lola" crepe with strawberries and blueberries. It looked luscious!! My serving was so much, I took half home to be had for breakfast the next day. My friend and I had a lot of catching up to do and the staff was gracious enough to clear our table and allow us all the time we needed. I will definitely make this place part of my regular rotation from now on. Their 'brunch' menu is served all day. They also have some more lunch-type offerings like burgers, cheesesteaks, rice bowls, etc.

My friends and I went to EZ after finding it on Yelp. We were trying to go to another brunch place in the area, but it was so extremely busy that we decided to go elsewhere. EZ had such rave reviews, so we decided to try them out. They are located in a quiet, unassuming area, right behind a gas station. You would never guess that the inside was such a cute, buzzy place! It seems to be family owned, which was nice to see. We were seated immediately and a waitress came to take our drink orders. The restaurant isn't huge, but it seats plenty. It's definitely a child friendly environment, as I observed a few families with their children coming in to enjoy a meal. It's a cozy atmosphere, for sure. It's not loud and you can share this brunch time with a friend, a loved one, or a small group of friends. The menu was filled with delicious delectables- brunchy, lunchy meals. Everything from made-your-way omelettes to waffles to even Korean specialties like Bulgogi beef. We all settled on something different. One friend had turkey sausage, potatoes, eggs and the cinnamon roll French toast. She loved it all! She mentioned how perfectly well made the French toast was. My other friend had the Nutella waffle with turkey bacon and eggs. Her only complaint was that she wished she had another waffle! Her son had the chicken tenders and French fries. I thought it was a nice touch to cut the chicken into smaller pieces, which made it easier to pick up. I perused the menu for a bit and decided to try the Sassy EZ Potato Hash. It came with chorizo, cheesy eggs, potatoes, corn, beans, crema, avocado and served over homemade corn tortillas. It was SO GOOD!!! I throughly enjoyed this dish. It wasn't too filling but very satisfying! Even my friend's son approved and enjoyed a couple of bites, lol! We didn't indulge in dessert, but EZ does offer dessert crepes and other sweets. I lived that we didn't have one waiter- it's definitely a family team, so if someone took your drink order, someone else may take your food order. We had a great time and my one friend even went back twice since then! If you're in the area, please try this place out! You won't be disappointed! 5 stars.

If you're craving variety and want a café that literally has it all, Café EZ is the place to go. The menu is extensive--it's like they've taken every brunch craving you've ever had or even heard of and turned it into a reality. You definitely can't come here and just order ONE thing. Trust me, you'll want to try both a sweet and savory dish because the flavors are on ANOTHER level. Whether you're in the mood for pancakes, crepes, quiche, avocado toast, omelette, or something more adventurous, they have you covered. The flavors are vibrant, the ingredients are fresh, and everything is made to perfection. The one dish I didn't quite vibe with, though, was the Masala omelette. For whatever reason, it just didn't align with my flavor profile, it felt "EH," especially compared to the incredible dishes I tried on the menu. But honestly, that's the only miss. Their Dirty Chai is hands-down one of the best I've had. It's the perfect balance of spice and espresso, and I'll definitely order it every time I visit. If you're in the mood for an epic brunch experience where you can indulge in a little bit of everything, Café EZ is the place to go. It's a great spot for mixing up your usual order and trying something new--and I can't wait to return and explore even more of their menu!

While staying nearby and seeking an all day breakfast diner I found this hidden gem! I'm sure everything on the menu is 5 stars. I tried their Eggwhich and it changed my life. The egg, avocado, gruyere, tomato, pesto aioli, onion, and spinach! Blew my mind! A must try! + great customer service. Enjoy!

I love a good cafe! I'm so glad to have discovered Cafe EZ. I've been here a couple times and service is always quick and attentive. It's your typical cafe, so it gets noisy when busy, but I was able to get some work done despite the noise on a Sunday morning while enjoying my chai tea latte and Egg-xcellent croissant sandwich. The aioli and hash brown is an egg-xcellent addition!

This was my first time eating here. I stopped in for breakfast and I was very impressed. The ladies at the front were very nice. The place was very clean My food came out quickly and the waitress was attentive. I ordered a build your own omelet with a side of fruit and everything was delicious. Definitely will be be back..

The sassy was what I ordered, and the food was very fresh and filling. Some parts of the potato were a bit burnt, but I didn't mind too much. I ordered a basil lemonade as well and it was very refreshing had the perfect amount of sweetness and sourness. The workers greeted us as we came in and were so kind. The seats are spacious enough and had lots of room between tables.

We were walking out to Michael Jackson's Man in the Mirror and honestly it felt like a perfect sendoff. The service was friendly without being over the top. Fair warning: don't come expecting espresso drinks or mimosas, it's a traditional diner. But they do have oat milk, and fresh dairy alternatives. Eggspectation - Merriweather District…read more My first visit to Eggspectation and it made a strong first impression. Located in the ever-growing Merriweather District, parking can be a bit of a mixed bag. There's a nearby surface lot that fills up quickly, but a larger parking garage within easy walking distance that makes things manageable--and a bonus for EV drivers, with multiple charging stations that are available. Just plan ahead, especially on weekends or when events are happening at Merriweather Post Pavilion. The space itself is modern and thoughtfully designed. One side of the dining room features floor-to-ceiling windows that flood the space with natural light and offers peaceful views of Symphony Woods--a perfect backdrop for a relaxed meal or a little people-watching. There's also a covered outdoor patio that looks especially appealing for warmer days. Service during our lunch visit was excellent. Ethan struck that ideal balance--friendly, attentive, and accommodating without hovering. He handled menu questions with ease and was happy to make a few substitutions without hesitation. A seasonal spring menu is currently available, but the full menu being offered all day is a nice plus. We started with the Ginger Zinger--refreshing with just the right amount of zing. I went with the veggie omelette, customized to my liking, and it delivered: perfectly cooked and packed with fresh mushrooms, spinach, and asparagus. The Lyonnaise potatoes were flavorful, and the lightly dressed salad rounded out the plate nicely. My friends both ordered the Eggspectation breakfast sandwich, stacked high with thick-cut bacon and presented beautifully. Portions across the board were generous--we expected leftovers, but between the good food and even better conversation, most plates were nearly cleared. Prices lean toward the moderately expensive side, but that's fairly standard for this area--and the quality justifies it. If you're looking for a quieter experience, weekdays are your best bet. It's also a great spot to unwind after a walk around the nearby lakes or wooded paths. While there is ongoing construction in the area, the restaurant itself is well insulated from the noise. Overall, a very solid first visit. I'd gladly return to explore more of the menu.
