I can say this is my third time back and it is always consistently good. I will start by saying how wonderful the staff and servers are Liz came over to say hello. She remembered me from before Leslie our server was attentive and offered great suggestions. We ordered a lot of fun things from the firecracker shrimp to the crab dip as appetizers. Both were really good. I would recommend asking for the firecracker shrimp sauce to be on the side or lighter I ordered the breakfast combo with the cinnamon bun French toast. Everything was amazing. My girlfriend ordered the steak and eggs and she loved it. I would suggest ordering the steak medium rare. She likes medium well which I can't fathom. JAM is always consistently good. Jam Eateries is a local daytime spot! They are open from 6am-4pm each day. They don't take reservations and can get quite busy on the weekends. We went during the week and there was no wait. The restaurant is spacious and with lots of natural light. We started off with their freshly squeezed juices. I got the kickstarter and added ginger. My partner also got the kickstarter, added ginger and took out strawberries. The drink is sweeter with the strawberries. Our meal consisted of the beet salad, short rib hash and breakfast tacos. The beet salad was tasty, the pomegranate added sweetness and the pecans provided complexity. The short rib hash was filling but lacked slightly in depth of flavor. OMG easily the best brunch spot in maryland! We came for the first time on Father's Day ( so risky i know! ) and I was so nervous that we wouldn't grab a seat because there is no reservation system. Because of that I woke up at 5:30am to get ready to try to get there early. We got there at 8 am and pretty much every seat was full but we got seated immediately. We asked for a high chair but also wanted to sit in a booth and high chairs aren't accommodated at booths. The head waiter easily solved that problem by letting us use a booster seat THAT HAS SEATBELTS! (the moms with 9 month olds get it). That meant so much to me and left a great impression. Fun fact im not a jam or jelly person but their homemade spreads are delicious On my latest visit for a little Valentine's Day lunch with some mama friends we sat in the bigger area that has long tables and I believe they are open to renting for events with various photos of celebrities. While here I had the following: Brussels sprouts: tasty. Had a good flavor. Nice portion size. I would've loved if the sprouts were a little more crisp. Pig candy: delish! Crispy and crunchy. The aioli sauce and arugula was a nice touch. Also a nice portion. Lamb chop lollipops- I was original told there were 7 pops but, it ended up being 5. The chops were a bit unevenly cooked. This place is open, spacious and popping with people! I met a friend at 11:30 on a Friday for brunch and it was packed! Something that I noticed right away was how diverse the crowd was it's a gathering place for business meetings, mamas, families and friends to enjoy a meal together. I notice things like this and it's important to me. We were seated right away and this is literally my only small complaint, we were seated in me of the back rooms which was fine, but it felt very cozy and not in the best way as all of the tables were so close together there wasn't a lot of room to maneuver and it was very chilly. However that being said the room was full of natural light and the background noise of cheerful chatter made it a great experience. I would give the waffle alone a 100 star rating but the savory side made it the perfect combo. Stopped into Jam Eateries today with my girlfriend to kick off her birthday weekend brunch, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. We were able to walk right in and get seated promptly, which was a pleasant surprise. The host/GM was super welcoming and set the tone for the whole visit. It was my friend's first time here, and they really pulled out all the stops. The fall menu was giving, so we started with the pumpkin pie espresso martinis, and babyyyyy those things were delicious. We went on a Sunday Morning and our party of 2 was immediately seated (our 8:30 arrival was a bonus, an hour later when we left, there was a large line waiting...) at an airy open table where the marvelous Tea served us. Was visiting Hanover and it was incredibly hard to find a place that served breakfast (not Starbucks or DD or IHOP) and had more than 3 stars. Came across this spot a town or so over. Called to check on wait time and there was about a 40-45 minute wait with approximately that many parties waiting. They were unable to add us to the wait list but did tell us we could go to toast (website) and add our names there. There were 48 parties waiting by the time we added our name but I will say the list came in clutch. By the time we finished getting ready and headed over, our table was ready just as we pulled into the parking lot. You are also able to follow along your progress on the pages you add your name to. Now for the main event, the restaurant was pretty packed but also way bigger than expected and even than appearance from the outside. The restaurant is bright, a bit loud as it was packed, and decorated with various music artists throughout. The food was solid and they have plenty of breakfast and lunch choices available on top of a separate seasonal menu for food and drinks. There were a lot of menus to keep track of so that was a bit overwhelming if you don't like too many choices. Everything we had was tasty and fresh. Least favorite was probably the Nashville hot chicken sandwich probably because you can get some really good ones out there these days and this one was just ok. Celebrity paintings decorated the walls. Coffee was strong and bold just the way we like it. Duck for Brunch -we're in! They had a couple of Duck dishes and we ended up ordering the Duck Confit Benedict (haven't seen this anywhere else and it was a special)- Delicious Duck with pickled onions taking it over the top! Ranchero Omelette was excellent and filled with Chorizo, peppers and fresh avocado. Shared the chocolate chip pancakes and they didn't disappoint. I think this place was decent! It was definitely busy for a Sunday but since we put our names on the waitlist before driving over, we were good to go! I had the Boca Raton Benedict which I thought was good - not bland & not overly salty. I think they have a decent sized menu with lots of options so might come here again for brunch if we're in the area again! read more

Believe the hype! I finally visted and soon as i pulled up, I realized this is where Eggspectation used to be some years ago. I met up with friends who been before and they always had great things to say about JAM! They don't take reservations here so you'll have to get on the waitlist via the Yelp app and they'll text you. This system works! Our server, Erick was great! Thank you! It was busy on a Sunday morning and he still provided excellent service. Checked in frequently on us and made suggestions! Since it was my first time here I decided to do the mimosa flght. I didn't care much for the strawberry and blackberry flavors but I loved the passionfruit and island flavors! This was a good way to figure out what you like. We ended up splitting a carafe of the passionfruit! Definitely worth it. For food, I had the chicken and waffle. Stopped in for brunch on the weekend and thank goodness for the ability to join the wait list before showing up! There were 44 parties on the waitlist, we showed up with 14 ahead of us. I can see why so many people were waiting to eat here! The place itself is super cute; they even have a fireplace. They have breakfast and lunch, as well as a bar area with all the drinks and cakes that looked amazing. We got bacon bloody marys, which were a bit underwhelming, but the food made up for it. The chicken and waffles were great - the churro waffle was to die for. I would come back here in a heartbeat! read more
