I'm familiar with Another Broken Egg Cafe from having it in another state. I was excited seeing that they were opening one in Maryland. I went on a Saturday and the restaurant itself is nice, nice pricing, and good service. They do not take reservations, but you can put yourself on a waitlist as you're on your way to the restaurant so that you do not have to wait. I had their Mardi Gras omelette which was really tasty, just missing a little pepper or Old Bay. I had a Blueberry Brunch Margarita and it was very weak, but no real major complaints. My mom had the shrimp benny and she said that it was very good. The menu was very diverse and I definitely want to go back to try more. I've seen other people complain about the location, I don't really find the location that awkward/challenging, I've been to much worse lol. He was personable, attentive, and knowledgeable. He brought us complimentary beignets. Round little beauties served with a side of orange marmalade! Very indulgent! The menu was very cool. Lots to choose from and I think that everyone in my family would find something to enjoy! I for one had to practically flip a coin to pick. My hubby helped me pick. I tried something new and stayed away from my normal favorites. I picked the apple fritter French toast. I was not prepared for the work of art that came out of! This was literally an apple fritter prepared like French toast! Extra Apples, gourmet sauce, and fresh blueberries ! I was amazed! This was like a triple decker! I was just trying to piece my way through it. I had ordered sausage patties and city grits for a break from the sweet and a savory balance. Hubby loved his Floridian omelette! Got on waiting list online which says wait was 1 hr and 20 min. Went to the restaurant after an hour to checkin and was told wait was about 45 min. When asked about the waiting list stating 1hr and 20 min, they said you still have to checkin in person so waiting list online doesn't really count. We were finally seated 1hr and 10 min after checkin. We ordered as soon as our waiter came over and the food took 45min to come. The couple that sat a few minutes after us got their food right before we did. Food was okay. Definitely not worth the almost 3 hours wait. Coffee tasted burnt. Came here for the first time yesterday with a group of friends for a Christmas brunch and we really enjoyed ourselves! My friend made a reservation so we came in and were seated with no problems. Our server was super sweet and attentive to us. We all enjoyed our food too. I liked the decor, and the owner even came over to stop and chat with us. Customer service was excellent. I got the strawberry lemonade spritzer mocktail for $5.99 (they will be serving alcohol starting December 24th), and the shrimp and grits. Both the drink and the entree were absolutely fantastic. Pricing was very reasonable too, my bill came to $24 and they gave me a half order of beignets for free!! Others at my table got the biscuit and gravy, pound cake French toast, and the gingerbread waffle (they had a special holiday menu.) Everything was so good. The first time my daughters and I went for brunch on a Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was crowded; however we were seated and served with a minimal wait time. We were also offered complimentary beignets because one of the items we ordered took longer to arrive. The ambience is ok. Depending on where you're seated, seating can be somewhat crowded, but you're likely to overlook any seating issues once you start eating. Today my good girlfriend and I had brunch at Another Broken Egg Cafe and let me tell you they did NOT disappoint. Starting with the service, our server was polite, attentive and knowledgeable. I love when the server can provide recommendations and is honest about their experiences with the food. The food, OMG!! There were so many items that I wanted to order which just means I will be back SOON! I decided on the Lemon Pound Cake French toast because it's a seasonal treat and didn't want to miss out. The ambiance walking in was nice. The outside area had cornhole boards out for people waiting and the patio area was open as well. Inside was bustling with people and a good chatty vibe. It was brightly lit, simple decor and clean. Our server was efficient and quick. The food was good. Nothing too wild or over the top. Pretty basic as far as flavors. I wish I would have gotten a more "signature" dish like the French toast or one of the interesting pancakes. The "biscuit beignets" have a thicker density like a biscuit rather than the airy dough of beignets. It was paired with an apricot honey jam and it was good. The bacon on my daughter's meal was not good (A bit hard). Our server noticed the beignets didn't come out before our meal and immediately went to go grab them which I appreciated. I love this place. I come here often because I always want breakfast AFTER breakfast time is over. Broken Egg delivers. My favorite thing there is the crab cake Benedict. Sarah was my bartender and she suggested I try mocktails when I told her I was a year sober. The mocktails are so good & the service was even better. Each time I've come I've been greeted genuinely & taken care of. I can't name all the servers I've had but they all do a great job & the food is always good. Our waitress took so long to check in to see if everything was good that my partner was halfway done his food. The city grits were good and so was the scratch made sausage. The menu looked great and made it hard to choose, so I would love to go back and try other items. The menu online indicated they had cocktails, but they did not. I assume they just didn't have their liquor license yet. This was in early October so perhaps things have changed since then, but if you are looking for brunch cocktails I would call and check first! (gives you priority over walk-ins who aren't on waitlist) waited about 25 mins with being on the waitlist. Bright, casual ambiance. Service was good, food was great- had the lemon blueberry pancakes. Downside is that their mimosa pitchers are expensive for the size, tiny! Only gives you 4 glasses. We got the strawberry one, which wasn't bad. Great experience. My BBC wife and I stopped and it was crowded but there were two seats at the bar open so we sat there. The girl working the bar was as courteous and she was busy. It was the owner's day ghetto who was helping out, she also a nurse. Everyone was friendly who was working. The only issue I had was what to eat. I wanted to try everything! Everything we ate was delicious. The restaurant was a little noisy but not enough that it interfered with our conversation. Bathrooms were nice and clean.
