Yum, yum, yum! Great place for breakfast. We were in and out in less than an hour too. I had the Spiked Salty Cold brew and my bf had the 'lemon-blueberry' infused mimosa, both were delish, but I thought my brew drink was the better of the two. We split the Blueberry French toast with strawberry compote butter. It comes with 2 eggs any style and sausage or ham. We had the maple chicken sausage, very good! We arrived just in time to have one of the best brunches! Our server Lei was amazing, offering lots of suggestions and down right a lovely person. Food was delicious! We had the biscuit beignets, the Floridian omelette, the classic eggs Benedict with a half order of the Bourbon Street pancakes. We typically do not like to eat at the same restaurant more than once while on vacation but we will be back! read more

First off, I'm tremendously irritated. How do they expect people to choose something with so many scrumptious sounding options on the menu? And 2ndly, our server Brice is just too damn nice. It's still morning and he's all courteous, informative and friendly. On top of that, he's prompt, attentive and super supportive of all the things we chose to order. Pffft. I wanted to order the Mardi-gra omlette because no one seems to have reviewed that but their Lobster and Bri omlette is so legendary I was forced to order it, instead. And it's not like any of you readers are going to buy me breakfast so to hell with you. Like things aren't going bad enough, my girlfriend orders a chicken sandwich. And a "plain" waffle on the side. I have to live with these sorts of boring decisions every day and then, if that's not enough, endure more of it under these nausiatingly delightful conditions on a Sunday morning. And then ABE makes it taste amazing. You know, like her choices should be considered normal or something. And it's because of you, you damn Yelpers with your articulately accurate reviews, that I had to order an extra side of City Grits, so, in essence, it's your fault I ate that whole omlette, the potatoes and toast and then all the grits plus some of my girlfriend's waffle leaving me feeling like a pregnant, three-toed sloth that someone shot in the ass with a tranquilizer dart. You bastards! To top it all off, Brice insisted on preparing us a coffee and tea for the road before we got the check. Looks like these jerks are gonna make me come here every week. This place is a solid breakfast joint. Good food, easy walk from our hotel on the beach, and friendly staff. My biggest complaint, and part of this is on me - I am a bit of a coffee snob - was the coffee. It was decent, but that's about the extent of it. I need bold flavor, and I got your basic Folgers instead. The pancakes were good, but super sweet. I got the traditional breakfast with 2 eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes and an english muffin. Good flavors, eggs cooked perfectly, solid dish. Overall we would definitely go back if we found ourselves out that way again. read more

ENDLESS WAIT, COLD FOOD, COLD COFFEE, RUDE STAFF, HEARTLESS MANAGER This was the worst dining experience of my life. And to put that into context I've been to a restaurant that caught on fire, and I was more trained that the staff so I put the fire out myself. This was much much worse. I will never set foot in this travesty of a business ever again. I leave this so hopefully no one else does either. This ruined our Mother's Day. We signed up early, and arrived on time per the texting service - only to wait another 2 hours. We were not alone, either. It seems they decided it was a good idea to market themselves so they overbook themselves with massive waits and overwhelmed staff. When we sat down I ordered a coffee. As I sipped the cold cup (I had ordered hot coffee) the waitress told me they had this really special coffee from a certain location in Africa. I asked if that is what she served me and she coldly answered "no". I then asked if I could have some of that she said "sure". When my wife brought up the issues with waiting so long, the waitress said that many staff had been quitting. We then ordered our food and after another long wait - maybe 30 minutes - I was greeted with a cold plate. Now everything up to this point could be explained by an overloaded staff on a bad day where software failed people. We asked to see the Manager and her response made things much worse. After politely and slowly voicing our concerns, the manager said that "this never happens". She also said that she just started as the manager. She offered a sort of apology and said "I hope you come here again" and even said "I had to say that". In addition to her cold tone, she did not offer anything. If she couldn't offer that our meal was free or even a part of it, like my cold coffee, she could have at least offered us SOMETHING. A coupon for a free cookie. Nothing. She literally gave 0 shi*s about the nightmare we had gone through. As we left, I did something I have NEVER done in my life. I left 0 tip. Nothing about the experience was positive. Not even the food after a 2.5 hour wait. I sure hope such a disaster never happens to anyone else! read more

If you are looking for a great breakfast/brunch with great variety, unique options, not too pricey, and has inside and outside(pet friendly), and parking, I really think that Another Broken Egg Cafe on Clearwater Beach has it all! There are two other locations, one in Tampa and one in Clearwater/Oldsmar. I've been here a couple times and this last time we had a group of six. Everyone picked something different and everyone was happy. Our server was great and everything was perfect. I've had their lobster and Brie omelet, their lobster Benedict, shrimp and grits, City grits, and some other options too. The options are definitely something you wouldn't see on everyone's menu and that's what I love. Don't forget to bring your ticket for parking in the garage because you will also get free beignets served with marmalade. They are so good! read more

What an awesome brunch spot! All the dishes we tried were insanely good. I got the following: - EGGS BLACKSTONE BENEDICT - Grilled red tomato slices on an English muffin, topped with poached eggs, hollandaise, bacon with a side of country potatoes. - BEIGNETS - Served with honey/orange marmalade and powdered sugar. - ABE FAMOUS INFUSED MARY - Spicy pepper-infused vodka with our own house-recipe bloody mary mix. Everything was a little pricey, but well worth it and a great value given the high quality of everything we ordered. I tend to get the same thing every time I come here because it is so good. I went to the beach for sunrise the other morning. I was spending the day in the area and had some time to kill so I went to Another Broken Egg Cafe for breakfast. It was around 9am on a weekday so when I got there it wasn't too crowded. The waitress helping me was very friendly, attentive and prompt. She brought a menu and water as soon as I sat down but was back relatively quickly to take my order. The food came out pretty quick there after. She brought my check with out being prompted but told me there was no rush and to take my time. A very pleasant experience. read more

There's a public parking garage nearby and some Street parking, which might be just be have a spot open depending on the time of the day. The menu items are a mix of traditional and a fusion with current breakfast trends. Chilaquiles was flavorful and quite filling, enough to take leftovers unless you're very very hungry. Black beans with goat cheese.... Never thought about it but it's a great combination. 'Hey Lucy!' omelette was relatively light in calories and the side of city grits... Delicious! Being our first time there, we were presented with a complimentary side order of biscuit beignets. I tried their raspberry iced tea with was very mildly sweet. My first words to describe this restaurant is WOW! From the time you enter this restaurant till the time you leave there is amazing friendly customer service. Our server Henry was attentive, knowledgeable and all around friendly. So big shout out to Henry! We had a party of 7 and they were able to seat us right away. My husband ordered the Shrimp and Grits and after adding some Chloua he said it was really good. I had the cinnamon roll french toast and it was delicious. My mother had the carrot cake pancakes and she said it was amazing! All our orders including the kids came with bacon and eggs. The menu had so many options to choose from they all sounded amazing and it was hard to choose. We definitely would recommend this restaurant if your in the area. Although I am not a big fan of eggs or items that contain eggs, I am highly obsessed with the omelettes here! On my first visit to Another Broken Egg Cafe the service was slow, and the waiter wasn't very attentive. A manager just so happened to be walking around asking customers how everything was going, and I told him my concerns. Without hesitation he sincerely apologized and gave my friend and I a coupon for $15 off our next visit. Since I did not want to waste the coupon, I ended up returning two weeks later. I went with the Floridian omelette with city grits ( which are phenomenal ) and a slice of french toast on my first visit. The omelette was so good that I devoured it before getting a picture! On my second visit I got another omelette which was equally as good but I paired it with a tropical sangria instead of grits and toast. Chelsea at the bar is superb and very friendly and knowledgeable, and the homemade Bloody Mary mix is the best. I make a good one and this beats mine! Husband got biscuits and gravy - biscuit was hard, almost like a scone, and the gravy was pasty. His scrambled eggs with cheese (great suggestion by Chelsea!) was really good and the hash browns have a nice kick. I had smoked salmon Benedict. Salmon and poached eggs very tasty, but not enough red onions, capers or cream cheese. Note- the place is alway busy and the last time we were there I had an amazing scallop omelet and husband had French toast. The shrimp Benedict is very untraditional but DELICIOUS, and a LOT of food! The bloody Mary was great as well and loaded with bacon, celery, olives and more! But it was Our server, Chelsea, who really made the experience! She was so kind, helpful, and gave great tips and explanations about the menu! If you come here ask for her, she's great! The location isn't *right* on the beach- but it is close! The tables are really large here (larger than some of the other breakfast places around town) which is very nice if you want to order more than one thing.
