    Breakfast dinner

My original review is still point on for being a nice family friendly dinner. Unfortunately the food was subpar on my last visit. I ordered an egg and cheese sandwich on wheat (came out on rye). The egg tasted like the grill and the slice of American cheese was simply slapped on top of the egg and never melted.

Fantastic well made oatmeal w/ fruit.

We drove up from our Sarasota are home to see an ailing friend and 20 friends down to Indian Shores. A rainy day morning we shot over to "the mainland" for a bite. Service fantastic, coffee, water, orders perfect, always at our side etc etc. Outstanding. Oatmeal is like gym class - Pass or Fail and most fail. This was a great bowl of oatmeal. Well made, not a starchy gloppy ball of goo. It was freshly made, and served at a nice temperature. Good product. I got a large fruit plate side and was very satisfied. My wife got the spinach quiche that was exactly what she wanted with fresh and el dente vegetables and ingredients. GREAT JOB!!! Coffee was almost TOO good, my decaf caffeine sensitive body was sweating and shaking.....but it was awesome and tasty. This location was very good. Parking no problem and FREE (yay!) Check them out. ~ Thomas ~

My favorite brunch restaurant! Staff is super friendly and the food is very fresh. My go to order is the avocado Benedict

I went here with my mom and boyfriend to try out their breakfast this past week. Obviously had to get the eggs Benedict since it's in the name. Changed out the Canadian bacon with regular bacon which was pretty good. Not the best I've ever had but good none the less. My boyfriend tried two different meals. His breakfast wrap was not my thing - very bland and needed seasoning or something to make it unique. His other sandwich was great and well priced. My mom had the eggs Benedict and said the same as me - not the best around but decent. I was disappointed in their lack of options for people who are dairy free or just wanted something as simple as hash browns. FYI - hash browns is a no go as well as dairy free creamer.

Vacationing in Indian Shores and saw this place next to Publix. Gave it a try and so glad we did! It was delicious! Cute little restaurant, very clean. I had the Country Sausage Benedict: huge portion! The biscuit was amazing, poached egg was cooked to perfection and large helping of Hollandaise sauce (my fave!). The home fries were delicious and it came with a large side of fruit too! My mom had the quiche and said it was wonderful. Highly recommend this place!

We walked in at 11 and sat right down. It's a cute little restaurant that we'd definitely come back to. It's not a 5 star restaurant but it's not your typical chain restaurant. It's a mom and pop shop and the waitresses were super sweet! We enjoyed the food as well. It's a hidden gem you wouldn't think it was located where it is!

Huge portions, the Benedict's were above average in size, and pretty tasty. Definitely a shareable meal, or get a togo box ready:)

The atmosphere was relaxed, the service was attentive, and the food definitely kept us coming back for another bite. Here are our favorites: Hangry Jen Pasta - The name says it all! This dish is huge and easily shareable. Rich, creamy, and packed with flavor. Seafood Enchiladas - Loaded with seafood, incredibly flavorful, and topped with plenty of melted cheese. Cheese lovers will be in heaven. Petite Filet Medallions with Potatoes - The steak was perfectly tender and seasoned beautifully. The potatoes were the perfect complement and soaked up all the delicious flavors. Lobster Bisque - The standout of the meal! Every person at the table took a bite and immediately agreed this was a winner. Rich, creamy, and layered with spices that linger just enough to keep you thinking about your next spoonful. Onion Rings - Crispy, classic, and exactly what you'd expect from a good order of onion rings. Calamari - Lightly battered and cooked well. It wasn't my personal favorite, but everyone else at the table really enjoyed it. If you're in the area, Coco Wood Grill is definitely worth a visit. And if you're planning to go during peak dinner hours, I'd recommend calling ahead for a reservation. We'll definitely be back!

This review and rating has nothing to do with the food or service which I believe to be top notch…read more This review and rating has to do with poor and abhorrent communication. I called on a Monday evening for reservations for 8 people for the following Saturday evening at 6pm and requested the room near the bar. I was told no problem - they could put two tables together for us. She took my name and phone number and all was good. Saturday afternoon at 4pm I received a text from Coco's stating they could not seat 8 people in the bar area - 6 people is the most they can take. I explained what happened when I tried to use their online reservation app and it kept messing up that I called and spoke to someone there who I assumed was the hostess. She asked me for the persons name and I did not remember it (5 days earlier) The hostess on the phone didn't care and again stated that the largest party allowed in that room was 6 people. I asked why she waited until 2 HOURS before the reservation to call me and she said she and the other hostess came in that night at 4 pm and saw the reservations then. I asked her if she could seat us in the main dining room and she said no they could not. This is inexcusable and bad policy to not review reservations in advance in order to notify patrons of an issue. So Saturday night before Fathers Day, 8 people -4 dads-were left to hang out to dry.

They were pretty busy so that was awesome. We were immediately sat in their sushi room, the ambiance a bit outdated. Our server from the get go seemed rushed and distracted, but kindly answered our questions and took our order. Our steak tartar appetizer took a long time to arrive. Sadly wasn't up to par and seemed kinda mushier than any I've ever tasted. It also lacked seasoning, so giving that 2 stars. The accompaniments on the plate helped so it wasn't a total failure but still a disappointment. Their courtesy sourdough bread and olive oil with herbs was good. Our meal also took a long time to arrive. When it did, we had to ask for forks because apparently somebody didn't set the table correctly... and server didn't notice before our dinner service. He should have noticed when bringing out our appetizer at the very least. As for the main entrees, The panko hogfish and garlic mash was good, as well as the picatta sauce, 4stars. The filet mignon kabob with shrimp scampi was disappointing, 1.5 stars. We couldn't tell it was filet mignon and double checked the menu later thinking it was some other cut of beef. The shrimp in itself had a different odd taste. Not the scampi sauce which was good but the actual shrimp. We were not pleased at all with this type of shrimp. While our server glanced over at us several times before the appetizer, he didn't check on us again till about half way through the main course. By then I wasn't feeling well and had my husband flag him down to start our exit service. That took awhile too. 2 stars in service. For what this place use to be like back in the day, I would say the service and food quality have gone down. Today's experience was less than favorable and below average. For the price of the food, I would say we didn't get what we paid for. 2 sodas, 1 appetizer and 2 entrees was $110.. what we got in return didn't match. So to answer the magic question, no, we will not be giving this place our business anymore. Several misses on the food quality and execution made it less than desirable to give this restaurant another chance, especially at this higher price point as well.

It's a 5 course pre-fix meal and you choose your entree from a few options. We Started with fresh Raw Oyster topped with Strawberry Mignonette and beautiful edible flower. Velvety on the inside and the creamy sauce was exploding with flavor. 3rd course was a visually stunning Arugula Berry salad with Citrus Caviar and Balsamic Reduction. For our main course, I got the Lobster Thermidor in a Cognac Cream Sauce and my love got Pan Seared Duck Breast in Port Wine sauce. We also added a Filet Mignon, which was cooked to the perfect temperature I requested, rare-medium-rare. Dessert was a gorgeous Strawberry Tramisu, likely the best I've ever had!
