Very GREAT customer service. They were very personable as if they were my family. For a minute, I forgot I was in Houston. I dropped my car to Momentum for service and searched for a nearby coffee shop. Javier at Momentum also recommended this cafe. The matcha and food was good temperature and I was able to get some work done as well. The cafe has a high bar with power supply on the top to plug your devices and wirelessly charge your cell phone. It was pretty chill vibes with some jazz music playing in the background. They offer tea, coffee, breakfast, lunch and cakes/pastries.

Upscale cafe vibes. Breakfast croissant was great and all around very balanced; I would've liked mine a bit flakier, but that's being super nitpicky. The spinach quiche was also very good but not worth the $7 price tag IMO. Comparable to Flour Bakery in Boston if you've been there.

My friends wanted to have lunch at the Café. I ordered a kiche with a side of Greek salad. I was charged $7 for the side of salad. It was a small amount. I wouldn't charge more than $5 or $6. My friend had a burger and asked for a side of bacon. She was charged $4 or $5 for the bacon. She was appalled. The art on the coffees is pretty and there is free parking.

This place deserves a 4.5. The owner and employees are super nice and friendly. The place is spotless, well decorated, and comfortable. For a cafe, the food is really good. Omelet - 4.5/5 a bit on the salty side, but bursting with flavor and ingredients inside Souvlaki plate - 4.5/5 fries were crispy, salad was well dressed, tzatziki had fresh cucumber. Chicken could have been a bit more moist. Egg plate - 4/5 the potatoes were the best part of this, well seasoned. Bacon was thick cut. I even liked the butter. Otherwise it wasn't special, but this is a dish you order because you want consistency, not novelty, so that's fine.

Came in for the first time at this Greek cafe for early dinner with a friend and her kiddo. Cute place, good food, and even better customer service. The place is kind of hidden as it is not in a main road. The restaurant offers garage parking that is shared by a big office building, but there's also street parking available. As we walked in first thing I noticed was that the place seemed bigger outside, but wasn't really an issue as there were plenty of seating available for us. The decor is nice and modern, and the place has a nice laid back but intimate vibe. You order at the counter next to the display of delicious pastries and they bring the food out when its ready. I got the Greek sandwich and my wife got the combo salad that came with salad, dolmades, hummus tzatziki and pita. The sandwich was delicious and tasted fresh and my wife said she enjoyed the variety on her plate. We also got an ekmek to go and that was very delicious. They also serve illy coffee, and the espresso drinks at the table next to us all looked good! We stayed a little bit at the cafe to chit chat and I have to mention the amazing customer service. It definitely felt like a local mom and pop place. Everyone wanted to say hello to the kids in our table and even chatted with us a while - this is just the type of place you want to keep coming back to because of the customer service! Overall, glad to have found this place. We will definitely be back for breakfast or lunch!

I have tried this place 3 times after seeing it on Eat Like Local with Chris Shepard. Twice I had quiche, one spinach/feta and one with bacon/sausage/roasted cherry tomatoes. Both were bursting with flavor!! So tasty! Some of the best tasting quiche I have had in a long while. This pastry chef there add different ingredients to there quiche, rather than making it a simple quiches. The shawarma chicken was pretty good also.

Stopped by to study a bit and it was a nice spot! Staff were very friendly & helped with coffee options. The location is great and has space if you're looking to grab a bite & study. The coffee is strong. I ordered a shaken cappuccino where the milk instead of foam and hot it was shaken and iced. I prefer iced and noticed this makes the cappuccino creamy on iced form I liked it! It may be an acquired taste as it was bitter even with adding honey The desserts are amazing!

Anonymous Café has a nice variety of food, but my experience was a little mixed. The pan sausage with eggs, potatoes, and cheddar cheese made for a solid breakfast. The potatoes were cooked well and tasted great, and the eggs were good too. I also appreciated the fresh fruit--everything tasted crisp and sweet. The smoothie was a standout, very delicious and refreshing.

So glad they got a new location moved from the old Stafford location. Same old lovely greek couples as before. They are just good homemade desert. Glad I had the chance to try it again today. If you don't know about this place, just go try it already. My words cannot describe them. Dessert Gallery is going to have a hard with his across from them. read more

Holy hell this place is amazing! I've been a fan since they were in Sugarland and I was salty when they moved, but this new location is beautiful and chic. It's a great place to relax with some good coffee and delicious dessert. The eckmek is a must, as is any of their coffee drinks. Be warned the Greek Frappe is strong! Friendly owners/employees and free parking in the garage next door. I love it here. read more

Nov 22 return for second time. Again food and service were top notch. This time we tried the special, fried fish with skordalia. It was wonderful. The owner came around and asked about the food. Love the personal attention and service. Highly recommend this place. We'll be back. read more

The place was buzzing at lunch hour! Im glad its located within an office building and parking was a breeze... since it was mommy's day out I went all out and ordered some spinach quiche with soup of the day which was chicken and orzo along with a cappuccino and their famous Ekmek... the portion sizes are huge and the flavors are spot on... the food was delicious everything I wanted and more!!! I drove from Katy to check out the buzz and Id do it again gladly. The owners are very personable and friendly! If you are in the area give it a shot you won't regret it! read more

I'm the middle for a super clean, modern, easy tons of parking coffee or casual food spot in Upper Kirby? Go here! My husband and I go for the one of a kind loaf cakes. They have about 10 flavors and they aren't too sweet and always INSANELY fresh and slightly. I love the marble. Where can you get marble cake? The coffee is amazing and great prices. I loved this place. I got a latte and other person got a macchiato and both were so tasty! Felt really authentic and reminded me of coffee I had in Italy. We also got the strawberry pound cake, spinach pie, and chicken wrap and loved all of it. Extremely flavorful and loved that it was Greek food. I was eyeing some other peoples food, too, and the Greek salad looked AMAZING. Might be my new favorite cafe in Houston. Also, employees were extremely friendly. Will definitely be back read more

Tried this place on a whim this morning and it was fantastic! My SO had caramel macchiato and the spanakopita which was "heavenly"; perfectly baked, crumbly crust, and smooth coffee with just the right amount sweetness. I had a mocha latte and a dish called "the villager", which the proprietor described to me as the simplest dish on the menu - her specialty from their native home of Greece. The decor was simple, elegant, cool, and very clean. Can't recommend highly enough! read more

I went to this place on a whim with some work folks from out of town. It's kinda small but we did get a table that seated 5. Everyone was very impressed with the exceptional quality of service and food. We had the hummus, chicken souvlaki plate and wrap and the EKMECK Kaitaifi desert. Everything was Absolutely amazing! Can't wait to go back and try one of their daily specials. I would eat here everyday! read more

I fell in love with this cafe and the owners when they were in Sugar Land. Their baked goods so delicious, their from scratch lunches so wonderful. I went at least once a week. My husband's birthday was coming up and I decided to purchase a gift card for him since we both adored this place. I purchased a $40 gift card from the owner, it was I beautiful brown crafty postcard that she hand wrote his name and the amount on. Less than a week later they closed their doors promising to reopen soon. So I wasn't too upset initially and kept checking out. I looked online to see if there was any updated info and found nothing. I kept this postcard for a couple of years but every time I came across it, it was a sort of angst. I felt like the owner must have known she was about to close her doors when she sold me the gift card. Anyway, I finally threw it in the trash the next time I came across it, well past 2 years. One day after visiting my credit union in Kirby Dr. I heard someone recommending Anonymous Cafe, my ears perked up and I walked over. Sure enough it was one and the same, delicious looking deserts and I saw the owner and decided to tell her about my gift card. I said I did not know you were closing when I purchased my gift card and she said"yea, we didn't know it either." Hard to imagine that you would not know within 2 weeks, that you would be closing your doors. I told her that I had hung on to the gift card a couple of years and only recently thrown it away. She said "Well, if you find it I will honor it." I was hoping for an apology and at the very list offering me lunch. I don't know how many people from Sugar Land drive over to claim they bought a gift card but suspect not many. I am disappointed in her answer that she did not know they were closing and also disappointed that she did not offer to make it right. Based on my experience, I'm Not sure all that sugary sweet demeanor is real. read more

This place was so wonderful. The ambiance was delightful and as my wife would put it: "refreshing for the soul". We stopped in on a Saturday morning after running through some neighborhoods. We had an almond and chocolate croissant pastry, both both of which were scrumptious. We also had cappuccinos which were great. This business is run by a family whom we chatted with and they were very pleasant. They were so kind to get us another cappuccino after one of ours spilled. We will absolutely be back. read more

This place is a hidden gem. It's a small place so it's hard to find. However, there are tons of parking, the cafe is so clean and seems like such a great place to bring a laptop and get some work done. I love the subtle hints of the Greece in the decor and the food. The drinks look and taste AMAZING. My favorite thing I ate was the waffle fries it's like chickfila and jack in the box curly fries had a baby. Sandwiches were delicious as well! As far as the staff goes, everyone was so nice and since I'm in the industry, the women at the front and I bonded over the Greek restaurant I work at. She was so supportive and hoped that business was booming so our jobs would not be affected. Great experience, I can't wait to return. read more

When I'm looking for a study spot, which is what I'm most often looking for, I look for space, selection of food/drinks and noise level. Anonymous Cafe has a wide selection of food/drinks, for which I would rate 5/5 for taste and presentation. And, the noise level was perfect, not too quiet and not too loud. However, the reason I gave a 4/5 was because there isn't much space at the cafe. The great thing about studying here though, was that they have a communal study table that seats 6 people, and so that was perfect. However, other than that, space is a little limited. If you're trying to go here for brunch on Saturday or Sunday, you potentially might not be able to get a table. But, if you're planning to go during off/not busy hours, then this is a really good study spot! In all, a great great great place! Oh, and the owner is very nice as well! read more

This place is super cute. There's public parking across the street that's free. The ambiance is nice, on the louder side. I wouldn't go here for anything outside of social hour. This isn't a place to get any type of work done or studying. The wifi is terrible!Outside of that id definitely recommend! read more

Good coffee terribly slow internet. Unfortunate Because I really do like the coffee and vibe But the two times that I went there to actually do some work the Internet was so slow nothing even loaded and owners are aware. so good place to just hang out with some friends and drink some coffee but no point going there if you need to get any work done with Internet read more

New in town, and this place has quickly become our family's new go-to place: beautiful and clean. great food with lots selections of coffee drinks. The only thing is I wish they add some latte art to the coffee drinks. I have tried almost all of the coffee drinks they have, and the latte added on top of the coffee drinks are not very artistic (just a blob of foam milk). This is a coffee bar, so I expect they add some beautiful latte art on top of their coffee drinks. read more

By far one of my favorite places for Greek food. The quality of meat in the kebabs and attention to detail in plating are incredible. The portions are very generous. The Greek frappe's, amazing desserts and pastries ... and, OMG get the large chocolate chunk cookies!! read more

A true hidden gem! I brought a group of ladies here for our monthly coffee social and it was a huge success! This place is absolutely beautiful on the inside, so airy and clean! Amazing service and family ran business which I also loved. We had many different drinks with an assortment of pastries and everything was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back. We were huge fans of Anonymous when it was in Sugar Land and are thrilled they re-opened. The coffee is delicious, the desserts and pastries are delectable and the food is excellent. It is the only place we have gone where my girls say it's like eating yiayia's (grandmother in Greek) food. And the owners - Patricia and Tasos are the most delightful people. After visiting just a few times - you will feel like family! Everything is good but family favorites are ekmek, mosaico and for coffee - the nitro cold brew or a freddo cappuccino. I absolutely love the food here! The salads and sandwiches are incredibly fresh and flavorful. Having parking right next to the restaurant is so convenient, too! The service is great, and the owner is often around, making sure everything is just right. Their selection of pastries and loaves is amazing--it's tough to choose just one! The only thing I didn't enjoy was the lemon-flavored chicken soup; it wasn't for me. But overall, this is a wonderful spot to sit, enjoy your food and coffee, and even get some work done. I always go in for a coffee and a chocolate croissant. It's become a morning ritual for me I cannot start my morning before I go to anonymous café. The vibes inside the restaurant or extremely pleasant and I always leave with a smile on my face. The staff is really friendly and they sure know how to go the extra mile to ensure that you have the best experience.
