My friend returned a budget truck to this location and we mistakenly left my keys in the truck (car key, apartment key, the works). We happened to realize this on a Sunday, when they were closed. We did have to wait a bit to pick up the keys, but the owner was communicative, transparent, and incredibly helpful in getting me my keys back. He coordinated multiple different employees to determine where the keys had been placed and then how I could pick them up. Couldn't say enough about his customer service skills - I am very appreciative. read more

I'm not a fan of leaving bad reviews but this place simply wasted my time. I applied to rent a 12' box truck online and got the reservation for it. The next day a man calls a explains the whole renting and insurance process, he's very friendly and helpful over the phone. My credit card checks out and everything is good to go. The same day I drive a half an hour to their business and like 5 minutes before I arrive I get a call from them. A woman said, "Sorry, we don't have any trucks besides a 26-footer. I'm not sure how you were able to make the reservation" and that was the end of the call. They wasted like an hour of my time and gave me a 5 minute courtesy call. They may be good people for all I know but it's bad business. read more

We rented a Budget truck for our moving day. I had to make the appointment over the phone since their office is going through renovations, which was no problem. To make the appointment, I spoke to a guy and he was really nice. Then came the day to pickup the truck and it was extremely stressful. Since they didn't get my email on the appointment call, the girl at the front desk told me I needed to either buy their insurance ($60 just for one day) or call my auto insurance and fill out this form. I've rented so many rental trucks, budget included, over the years. I've never had to do this stupid form before. I bit the bullet and paid the $60 just to get it over with. First off, if you have my phone number, why not just call me and get my email to email me the form so I could have done this ahead of time, so I'm not stressed TF out calling my insurance while time is ticking with friends helping me move are waiting on this truck? Then comes the truck itself. It had mud sprayed all over it. It looked like the toilet bowl aftermath of eating Indian food. It was absolutely filthy inside and out. The check engine line was on, and was leaking fluid. We were told it was fine. Short on time and patience we took the truck. Then came time to refill the gas. We went to fill it up (or else be charged more $$) and the gas overflowed out of truck. Well, I guess it's full! I really wish I went to another Budget location. This was so much unnecessary extra stress on an already stressful day. read more

This review is for the truck rental portion of the business only. If you go to their site, you'll see a "Moving Truck Rental" option. We were desperate to get a decently priced rental truck, so we could move my niece's campus stuff back home. Since this was one of the main move times for all Austin campuses, rental places were clowning hard and demanding double or more for trucks. (Ain't nobody got time for that!) We drove around and finally I whipped out my trusty Yelp app and found this place. We drove over and were greeted by a nice man (don't recall his name) who encouraged us to have a seat while he found out if he could let one of his trucks go one-way to Fort Worth for a reasonable price. A super nice man named Scott eventually came out of the office with a contract and let us know he had a truck for us. Not only did he give us a reasonable rate, but also let us use the 10% off Yelp check in for this place. How awesome is that?!!!! We weren't price gouged (like at other spots) and we got to use a Yelp discount. That is 5 star service. read more

I've taken my 2008 mustang gt here for quite a few things and have always had a great experience. The work is always done when they say it will be, and it's always quality. I've had a lot of custom suspension and lighting work done here, and am about to get paint work done in the near future. One thing that's also important is the price. Obviously if you're getting custom work done, you're not exactly buying a fart cannon from autozone, but you're not putting a down payment on a gtr either. They're always reasonable and itemize the cost of everything for you. read more

Not only is his Lexus IS300 rocking a nice wide body with the most brilliant eye catching green gold pearl paint that he did himself, he also worked on the paint work on my G35: not once, but twice. I have a fiberglass bumper that he had to first had it fitted and then freshly painted ivory pearl. I ran over a tire and he fixed it again. He'll find a way to help you out without trying to rip you a new one with prices. I'll always recommend him as the best body/paint work in town! The G35 always got a make over in the Linea Corse wheels with a deeper tiffany blue colored (looks like teal-ish) which I had him make sure the exact color I want. My car pops out like a sore thumb and that's what I wanted to do: to give the look my style with how I want it. Thanks, Roy! Can't wait to bring my other project cars to you! read more

I'm writing this review specifically for their truck rental side of the business (something most people probably don't know they do). Derek, the one who manages this specific location is always extremely helpful and works hard to make sure we are happy. He is easy to reach almost any time of day (and night!) and goes out of his way to make sure we get the trucks we need. My company always needs extra rental trucks and often last minute. Their pricing is good, they can deliver the trucks to us (super convenient), and they always make everything really easy. read more

After having a very poor experience at another establishment, I did a lot of google searches and made a lot of phone calls and was immediately impressed by the level of service at Annihilator Customs. When I spoke to the person who worked there (I am not sure who he was or what his job title was) I felt like he really listened to the issue I was having with my HID headlights, instead of cutting me off with "bring it in, we'll take a look" as I feel so many other places do. He asked me a lot of questions to really grasp an understanding, and he was very transparent about the issues that it could be (bulb, chip, etc) and how much they would each cost before I brought it in. When I dropped off my car I think the same man I had talked to over the phone did the paperwork. He was very friendly and again transparent about costs that could occur. The solve for my car ended up being a little more than anticipated, as it was both the bulb and the chip on one side that were bad. When he called to break the news, he gave me a few different options for how to solve it, ranging from a low-cost fix of replacing it with parts they had on hand, which would have mismatching light colors, to doing a complete fix by ordering a new kit and replacing the whole thing. I did not feel pressured at all to do the complete fix, but I felt that it was the best option given the age of my kit, so that is what we moved forward with. I had a great experience working with Annihilator Customs and I found their customer service and transparency to be unparalleled to other shops. read more

Roy is the best! He is so knowledgeable and respectful. He does not BS you on prices. Any time I have called for a price quote he always strives to give me the most accurate estimate possible. He always looks up the exact part and reads the instructions to gauge how much it will cost. Finding a good custom shop in Austin is not easy and I've always been so comfortable with calling Annihilator with questions, even if I'm not ready to get work done. I brought my '07 Mustang GT to Annihilator to have some side skirts installed. They did an amazing job. It took a half a day longer because the paint wasn't dry, but the work was fantastic. I'm about to take my car in to have lowering springs installed because of the awesome job they did on my boyfriends car. not so recently I had an urgent issue with my car's headlights not working properly due to a faulty wiring issue. Instead of taking it to my normal mechanic I did some research and felt that annihilator customs seemed to specialize in after market gauges and products of a wide variety. my car has an after market gauge set and the speedometer was never hooked up so I thought I could have them fix my headlights and get the speedo working. They made no promises when I dropped it off so I can't fault them for that. I finally got my car back after leaving it there for a whole month. They were able to get the headlights working but said that the speedo was not compatible with my cars engine and transmission (which I knew was not true). the cost was $400 just to fix the lights and again it took a month! On top of this I found a pizza hut receipt in my car perfectly flat from a location over 7 miles away so it can't be chalked up to testing anything. The manager assured me that it was never taken and the receipt must have fallen out of his employees pocket. again I point to the fact that it was a perfectly flat (not folded or crumpled) receipt. Since my speedometer and odometer weren't working I have no way of checking the mileage to verify anything. my word against there's but it made me begin to see why they were taking their time getting my car back to me. This was a while back and what made me actually sit down and write this review was the fact that my regular mechanic got my car back to me with 100% new wiring for every single gauge and a working speedometer, all for $500. It's been almost a year and it still makes me so angry when I think about it. Absolutely stay away from these crooks!! read more

hate it they seem to know what there doing when you ask them about the led lights installations when you fist come in but once they complete the job is so bad you have to take your car to an electric mechanic afterwards be careful when you consider to go to this shop i would keep my options open next time i learn my lesson not to trust everything they tell you. read more

Where do I begin.... It's been over a year and every time I pass their shop on I35 it still ticks me off about what they did to my car and how they treated me! I took my car in to have the front fenders rolled. The manager/owner assured me that they have done this process many times and it would be no problem to perform this process. (He's a good talker...but that's about it.) When I went to pick up my car there was paint chipping off the edge where they rolled the fender, both fenders were wavy, and the plastic liner was hanging down. (He told me it wouldn't be.) It was unacceptable work! The manager tried to play it off like the waves in the fenders were all ready there and they could just spray some touch up paint with no blending of paint. No way i said! I'm not letting you touch my car again even if it was for free. I could go on and on with the excuses that he gave me. Long story short, I got a couple estimates from local body shops and it averaged out to be over $1,000 worth of damage!! With weeks of haggling he agreed to pay a portion of the repair costs. read more
