I've been a customer thru several owners and "style" changes from Pool Hall to VERY nice restaurant. This is a GEM. Can't wait for the expansion to be finished as the ONLY complaint is the wait, and it's really not that bad. It was semi-late and most restaurants were closed, so we snuck in a half hour before closing. The and management were nice. This is a diner/eatery and not a fancy restaurant, so I really was expecting good service and decent food. What we received was excellent food and truly friendly service. I had a burger that was delicious. Outside of my kitchen I haven't had one as good as this one. What really stood out were the chicken tenders my wife ordered. Some of my husband's buddies recommended this place to us for breakfast. Unfortunately, we didn't get to have breakfast there, we had lunch. It was pretty damn good. My husband had the Chipotle sandwich, my son had the Chicken and Bacon melt, and I had the Open face beef sandwich. The texas toast is really good, and their fries come in large portions, fresh and super crunchy and crispy. They had curly fries and sweet potato fries...YUM! I didn't like my plate so much but that's not going to hinder me from coming back. Service is polite and down to earth. The only thing I have to complain about is that I think they really need a revamp on the interior. It's very old and cafeteria like; doesn't match the front 'Annie's' design at all. Oh, and very well priced. All three of our meals plus drinks were a total of $30. Will come back and try that chicken fried steak! read more

Probably the best small diner in enterprise but you have to wait a super long time and inside its very loud but it's in town square so if you are walking around with friends this is the place to go. read more

Passing through and stopped for lunch. Ordering from the menu but like a meat- and 3. Saw one item that was not fried, so I tried the hamburger steak. It was very tasty and the onions added so much flavor that I did not need any other condiment. The Green beans were flavorful and tasty and the mashed new potatoes were very good. I read a few positive reviews on Annie's and decided to give it a try while in Enterprise. I had a large group of 15 and the wait staff was just as impressive as the home cooked food. Mashed potatoes that are obviously made with some love! I highly recommend the breaded pork chop or the open faced steak plate! Both were delicious, but I also tried the burger, which was fantastic. Seems like a lot of folks are extremist nit-pickers. It might stem from the fact that there is a large number of people from bigger cities with more variety that filter through Enterprise, AL. If you are able to put this place in context, I'm confident you'll find the burger selection on par with some of the burger giants in the big cities. I had the Big Spicy Nasty. If you're weak, don't try it. I killed it in under ten minutes. It was one of the best "I-came-here-to-shutdown-my-arteries" burgers I've had! If you don't bring your grown-up game, order something small and cute. I give Annie's five stars for a big and successful effort in a small city! read more

For my first meal here I couldn't be happier. The dude recommended their special that day which was beef tips over mashed potatoes, and I got green beans on the side. The greens tasted like they came out of the ground that morning! The tips were cooked so well they crumbled when I touched them with the fork, and their sauce was perfect for the mashed spuds. YES!! super busy, super delicious!! Had the waitress recommended chicken salad sandwich and sweet potato fries, husband had bacon burger and devoured it. Couldnt be happier!! Was here last Tuesday. Two of the side choices were fried okra and creamed corn. Never saw these as sides on many trips here. Okra was good but the corn was the best I have ever had. Had the grilled chicken breast tenders which were excellent. Thoroughly satisfied. Will return. read more

Poor experience. Took 20 mins to get drinks and our order taken. I even heard the waitress say I don't know what to do with all these people. Over an hour to get our food. I will not come back. The Young Bros. and company are packin' them in at Annie's Cafe. Just finished the Bulgogi Special ($14.15 w/sweet tea) which happens sporadically on Tuesday's. It is wonderful, plentiful, and even gives me flashbacks of the soju tent hibachis in A-Town (Kunsan AB). The only thing missing tonight was Momma Young's cucumber kimchi. Hope you get to feeling better Momma!!! Everything on the menu is noteworthy, and though I've yet to visit for breakfast, I'm certain that its enjoyable. Cook refused to take my order after I explained I had a gluten allergy and did not want bread or crackers on my plate. They wouldn't even serve me a salad. It sucks because I'm a huge fan of this place. They were still very nice though and gave me my coffee for free. read more

We have been here for breakfast and lunch. First of all it is small and crowded. That said the food is very good. Both times we were there they were very busy and it takes awhile to get your food.
