Cat Eye Gel Nails

Nice, clean place. They have lots of options for nails and toes. They talk the whole time but the ladies are nice. Annie did a great job on my nails!

Service was great and I love my nails! Would recommend & will be returning. Price was fair for service ($45) I was immediately seated and serviced. As far as time, it was fast. My set took about 45 minutes to an 1 hour to compete. If you are a college student or just a local I recommend Annie's.

What I asked for

Usually when I come in I have a great experience. I love love LOVE the owner.. she's awesome! The last experience I had on June 5, 2021 wasn't so pleasant. I asked for a refill and a polish change on my toes & an elderly woman did my nails. I showed her a picture and she said she could replicate it. Well SHE COULDNT! She set the acrylic and I asked her several times would the acrylic blend better once she files them and she told me yes... it didn't blend and I let her know it was not blending well and she kept attempting to apply the top coat for me to go under the uv light and I had to snatch my hands from her twice because she kept trying to finish the bad job when I'm explaining it doesn't look good & she argued me down that my nails looked good, telling me she won't fix it, telling me to call my boyfriend and friends and ask them if it looks good, etc . She made 5 rude statements to me and I ignored it. When she kept going i let her know she is continuously trying to egg the situation on. She said something to the owner in her native tongue and started on some else's nails when I still hadn't gotten my toes done. I had to sit there and wait for someone to become available, so instead I decided to just pay for the bad nail job and leave. Maybe next time will be a better experience, if I go back.

Disappointing Experience…read more I came in only to have gel polish removed from my hands and toes and ended up being charged $50, which felt extremely excessive for the service provided. More concerning, the nail technician did not appear to use sanitary tools. When I politely asked whether the clippers had been cleaned, I was met with an attitude instead of reassurance. Shortly after, another staff member spoke rudely in their language, which made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected. Cleanliness and professionalism are non-negotiable in a nail salon, and unfortunately this experience did not meet those standards. When I washed my hands in lobby sink, no soap provided. One bottle had water in it- no soap, no towels for hand drying. I am very disappointed and would appreciate a credit or partial refund if possible.

Very irritated with the nail tech. My 12 year old daughter specified a certain color and I had…read morewalked outside once she was situated. I came back in and noticed the color was not what she asked for. She wanted a glittery turquoise & was given a very light colored mint green with no glitter. When I questioned it, he tried saying the color wasn't a "summer season" color and she should do something lighter & that dark colors are for the winter season. She of course can't understand their gibberish and was too scared to speak up. If I'm the one paying and she picked a specific color, then do exactly that! I don't want someone's opinion on what they think she should get. On top of that, don't argue with me and try to persuade me into agreeing you did the right thing.

Nicole is the esthetician who runs her business inside of the Reserve Salon & Spa, which is what you will find when you pull up the address in google maps. This business is within the Towne Lake Shopping center square and Cypress Wax Spa is located on the second floor in Room # 4. There is a very friendly receptionist when you enter from the 2nd floor, and numbers are posted outside of the Rooms/Suites. I was 10 minutes late because it was a bit unclear where the actual spa was located , but it was not a stressful experience because everyone was so friendly and helpful. Anyway, the entire experience was better than I actually anticipated. Nicole's station is immaculate, organized, and clean, and she is clearly well educated in her field, utilizing first class products. It was the most painless experience I've ever had, and she employs a plethora of organic and natural oils throughout the entire process. For my wax she did a quick refresh over my bikini area using jasmine cleansers and lavender oils, and then she communicated ingredients in what she was using when as she applied the product. She used both soft and hard wax, and walked me through her process every step of the way. What I really appreciated was her telling me when I would expect a more intense sensation during the waxing and when to breathe out since it had been a while due to being traumatized a few months back. She was consistently gentle in her approach and skill. Her communication skills were excellent. She did upsell me during my wax, but her pricing is extremely reasonable and the results are amazing. I can't tell you how much of a difference it makes when your esthetician is well versed in her craft and takes true pleasure in educating her clientele during the process. I was in the hands of a true professional, and I even went in for letting her use a high-frequency tool post waxing to reduce the breakout in a few spots caused by an ingrown hairs. Bottom line: Nicole knows what she's doing. She is a highly emotionally intelligent professional, she reads her customers body language ,and is not there to herd people in and out. She is fully focused on you from start to finish, and I will be returning soon.
