Really made my day today, been coming there on and off throughout the years. Been getting acrylic style for events and a fun spa day, my nails are brittle and worn so there hasn't been much length. I haven't been fully focused on my nails but recently I've been able to try different things and check out what works best with my shape. So today I went in for a fill and she suggested not using tips and to remove the old set because my natural nails were long enough. Cool with me & she got started, I liked the short med square before but the acrylic layer she put on top or I forget what she called the technique but it feels nice and looks smooth after she filed them! Just soft looking, very pretty! The other gal there suggested some light blue under the glitter so I went with that too, great girls, love chilling in there & having conversations while a movie is on, thanks for having me & see yall next time

This place is just fabulous! I found them when I first moved to the area, and they are more affordable than other local places, which is huge for me as someone who went back to school full-time and has to work a little less. Plus, everyone that has done my nails here has been truly wonderful. They're clean and bright and at a convenient, accessible location. I do have to give an extra shout out to Ri, though. If you haven't seen her yet, you're seriously missing out. She's not just insanely talented--meticulous, precise, and does your nails exactly how you want--she's also one of the kindest, most personable people you could meet. I got Cat Eye nails this time, and even though the photos are almost two weeks old (so they don't look quite as perfect as they did fresh out of her chair), they were absolutely stunning when she finished. Seriously though, they were flawless -- trust me! I told her they were the most beautiful my nails have ever looked. She even did a heart on my ring finger as you can see in the photos. They also have builder gel, so your nails stay strong and gorgeous for weeks. Ri is so fun to chat with, makes the entire appointment relaxing, and she's amazing at waxing too--so you can literally get pampered from head to toe in one visit. Honestly, I leave every appointment feeling so confident and polished. Ri's talent, care, and personality make her a total must-see, and you'll leave absolutely loving your nails. I've been going to Rie at Anna Nails for a year, and I couldn't be happier. I get Gel X, usually with some designs! Sometimes I come in with ideas and photos from the web, and sometimes I am open to Rie's creativity. Be assured she can do it ALL. I was a complete newbie, but I always felt welcome in this wonderful small business. Chairs are very comfortable, and other clients are so friendly! You can tell how much this place is loved by the gifts and treats their clientele bring them after a trip! I don't think I will ever go anywhere else!

The quality divide the service in the people that were super nice to me. And they can do lots of designs like they can do cat eye ombre and whatever I would like to do they can do anything they are really really good at their job and they can do feet hands and they can do waxing they do the best service and I recommend it for you to come here because I had a very great time and I think it's better because they're super nice to me again super nice.

I have been coming here for a while now and I can honestly say they are so kind and caring . They truly care about your nail health and take great care of you. My nails always come out great and last awile. I work with my hands a lot so I'm glad I was able to find a place that makes them last and still look good .

Everyone I go I just love my nails. Anna did my pedicure and Heather did my full set. Heater is so sweet and takes her time! She always double checks her work and asks you if you like them. She is always willing to help you get what you want. She is the queen at almond nails! If you want fast I say go to Anna. Ri is also fun and bubbly! Everyone treats you like family especially Anna! If you're interested in booking him, be sure to call for an appointment. He seemed like he has a lot of clients. Mary did my pedi and it looks great! This is actually a 2.5 star review. I don't want it to affect their business and I don't understand how this place has 4 stars really. Well, I believe it's really one person holding up this salon! I think her name is Ri that does specialty nails. I came here couple weeks ago for a mani pedi. One star for taking me last minute which I appreciated so much only to realized I should have stayed home. It was really the worse experience. I'm not sure if this is the worst one yet after 15 years of getting mani/pedi. First, greeted and waited, and then seated. The water was hot, awesome, .5 star. The person that did my pedi was so tired I guess, didn't put much effort in cutting and shaping my toes. I felt like I could have done this at home. Let's not even talk about the polishing. It's worse than what I do at home. Seriously, I paid to get something like this? Polish was not even, the clear coat was not evenly apply, so when it dried you can tell it was done by an amateur. I had polish in my skin that she didn't bothering cleaning off. The mani was worse. A different person did my mani. I don't even want to call it a mani as I felt like she treated me as her friend that was mad at. She cut my nails and it was not even... she barely filed them to even them out... when she polished my nails, I can already tell she does not care... it was all over the place, coats after coats after coats, and worse, it wasn't evenly applied. You can clearly tell it was a layer here and a layer there. The top coat made it worse and made it more obvious that everything was just wrong. Ugh! At this point, I wanted to gtfo. I know it's not worth correcting, it's end of day and we're all tired. I'm never returning to this salon. Also, they reuse the foot scrub thing, gross. You charge $30 for a pedi and can't even supply the disposable foot scrub sponge thing like every other salon. Another 1 star for a decent massage as it wasn't the worse massage, but not the best. If you're not getting specialty nails done here, please save your money. read more

They do a fabulous job. The tools are clean and the staff is nice. The prices are very affordable. I have never had someone actually spend time getting ALL of my dry skin off my heel! They didn't even charge extra! I do think the place could do with a little updating and less clutter. Also it was pretty hot in there because they leave the door window fan bringing in hot air making the a/c much less effective. I do recommend this nail salon for their good quality of work! read more

I asked to get my acrylics removed so I could get a new set from my regular nail tech (since she doesnt remove nails that arent her own work and i had gotten a set done while on vacation) and the lady took a small spatula and started digging under my acrylic to lift it up. This is horrible for your nails because you're basically peeling the top layers of your nails off. After asking for a soak off twice, she kept saying no because my acrylic nails were not "long enough" (since i had cut them to be able to write comfortably) and they were peeling off "easily". When doing a soak off you're supposed to cut the nails anyway so i wasnt sure why she kept mentioning how she couldnt do a soak off since i had cut my nails. After awhile of showing obvious discomfort she did a soak off for my other hand but when I went to go wash my hands after she said I was "done", there were still bits of acrylic left on my nails so i had to ask for it to be removed. The place is also not sanitary, the drill bits were kept in a dusty small altoid tin, my nail lady went from working on another lady straight to me without washing her hands, and she was using the same buffer and nail file on me that she was probably using on other clients because they looked worn down and just kept in her apron. I love supporting small nail businesses but there are just better options out there. read more

I highly recommend this location, super professional and they follow covid regulations. My nail technician was Heather and she is absolutely the best, she recommended the best nail style for me and made plans for my next visit which I really loved. It showed that she was paying attention to my needs and cared. I will be back here every time I need my nails done! read more

Kept the door open, still doing business while mandated shelter in place. Careful if you visit this business not sure how safe of a business they are due to the building not having ventilation and number of people inside at a time. read more

These ladies are the best! Did a walk in appt. at 6pm on Saturday for. Gel pedicure. Was unsure if I wanted a manicure because of the time but they stayed until closing time making sure my nails were perfect. I really appreciate when places don't rush their work at the end of the day. I'd recommend calling ahead just to be safe Only reason I gave this place 4 stars is because of the parking but if this mani & pedi last I will definitely give it 5 stars !!! read more

I just left the place and I am so angry, went for a pedicure and a "fill" (that never happened) when I called asking for price the lady in the front (I believe is the owner) told me pedicure was $22.00 and fill was $20 no big deal it's only $1.00. I went there with my mom she also wanted a pedicure. They sit us both and do our pedi at the same time, let me tell you, their pedi it's not the best. Once the lady was finished with my feet I just sat there and waiters to see who as going to si my fill! They take new customers and don't even ask me if I was ready for the fill. I have a broken nail and when I went to pay, the lady didn't even asked nothing! I work for a insurance company, I can't be seen unprofessional. I go to do my pedi at "Sweet Hair and Nails" and she's really good, she cleans very deep in your feet. I am never coming back to this place Anna Nails ever again! read more

This was quite literally THE WORST PEDICURE I HAVE EVER HAD. The employee was not pleasant. The water was luke warm. The massage chair was so awkward my back layed flat but my head did not. The girl filed down my toe nails way too much down to the skin w out any white left on the nail. My big toe was filed literally crooked. Smh. The massage was mediocre at best with little to no effort! To top it all off the employee said their Visa Machine wasnt working and for me to "Pay Her Cash" by using the Atm located in the corner. That ATM charged me a $2 fee. I was completely disappointed with this pedicure. I wouldnt go back even if they offered me another pedicure for free. A def NO-GO!!!! read more

Went here for the first time on Friday as I was looking for a place that does powder dip & more specifically powder dip with French tips. They did a great job, didn't try to up sell & were very kind. They were packed with return customers & knew them all by name - this says a lot to me about the loyalty of their customers. Prices were reasonable. I think I finally found my new place!!! read more

I usually stay religious to my regular nail place in SL. However, my person was on vacation, so I looked up something nearby that does SNS nails (dip powder). I found this place and it was only down the street from my house! Parking seems horrible though, however I was able to get one in front. I called ahead and asked how busy they were, and she proceeded to ask me how far away I am, I told her only down the street and I was able to do a walk in. I forgot to mention pedicure on the phone, but they still accommodated me and sat me down right away. The lady who did my nails was so precise and detailed. I usually leave my own nails long so I don't need a tip, but she suggested I cut them off because some of my nails were on the brink of breaking and new set would look better if I wanted coffin shaped nails. Anyway, I'm not too mad about it, one of nails was broken anyway, so why not start fresh so they can all grow out again. All in all I would come here again. read more

The lady's here are very efficient! came here on a Saturday morning after my regular nail tech somewhere else couldn't see me for an acrylic fill and was out in less than an hour and only paid $30. Will definitely come back next time my regular nail tech cant see me. read more

Honestly a huge disappointment. I called 2 days before to ask if it would be possible to get gel extensions with dried flowers. The day after, I called to make an appointment, they said okay. I got there and they didn't have any more flowers. Waste of time. read more

So huge thank you to everyone who did a review of this place and added photos! My bestie and I were trying to decide where to go between two places and picked this one because of the reviews and were very happy! All the staff is very friendly, and does a great job getting people in and out. I had Kim, and she was awesome, very sweet, and did a great job. My feet look adorable again! We both got pedi's and acrylic nails done and were out of there in an hour and they were busy! I do wish they had a package deal of getting a mani and pedi done. Acrylics were a bit expensive with gel polish considering a regular mani only cost $14. read more

I came in to get my acrylics taken off and this is how I left. Somehow, there is still acrylic on my nails. My nails are so sore, because the lady was trying to take off my acrylics by jamming a nail file in between my nail and the acrylic. I can't believe I paid $12 for this. read more

I just tried this place. I actually just got home from there but i LOVED it. I'm pretty big perfection in a lot of ways so I'm very picky about how my nails are done. Kim did my French gel tips pretty dang perfectly. I think I've found my mani spot in CV. From now on, I'm only going to go to Kim now to do my French nail tips! read more

Came in and had an appointment and was made to wait over 30 minutes to be seen. The staff wasn't helpful at all or seemed in no rush to have me seen and instead took other customers before me, even knowing that I had an appointment. Incredibly unprofessional. A co worker told me this place was good so I decided to check it out. I walked in and asked if they had time for a pedi and they said yes. I only waited 5 mins before they had me in a chair. Except I had my feet in the tub for 25 mins before someone finally came and did my toes. That was super irritating- the water got lukewarm. The work seemed a tad lazy but for $20 I guess it wasn't bad. I have received much better pedis. I probably won't be back but I won't say they were bad or awful. read more

So happy with My first acrylic fill, she had a lot of good tips. This was a French mani powder. This salon is quieter than most with the chatter kwim. All the ladies were kind to my party of 3, MIL and baby girl. Only thing is I noticed when I got home that she did not do any cuticle care at all. Zero, why girl why. I was so enamoured by the sheen of my new frenchie I didn't even notice. Will definitely be back but ima keep my eye on you boo. read more

Nice little nail shop, not a spa. Seems to be a place the locals love, so call for an appt if your in town. All the ladies are very nice and listen to what your asking of them. Heather did my nails and did a great job super fast! Just an FYI they like cash but will run a card, but they do not have a tip line so if you run the card you have to tell them in advance to add the tip, I thought this was odd, but it was my 1st time there. And again this is not a spa so nail files and buffers are used on multiple clients, something I'm not use to but I was in a bind and needed my nails done that day and they were the only place that had an appt. read more

This is the best nail shop. I've been going to Paul for over 12 years now and I would NEVER go anywhere else. He is always so patient and always wanting to do the best job possible. I was in the area and needed a pedicure. Yelp lead me here. I called to see if I could come in and they said yes. I came in and was greeted immediately. Everyone seemed really friendly. I love this place! I have been coming here to get my nails done by Paul for years and he has never failed me once! He is sweet, funny, entertaining, always open to whatever you want and full of wonderful ideas. I will never make the mistake of getting my nails done anywhere else ever again. I happened to see this little itty building and on Castro Valley Boulevard, and decided to try it out. It was the best decision I've made! The owner, Anna, is so sweet, funny and attentive! The lady who did my first set was very polite and did such a good job!! My nails were even and thickly coated! 3 weeks after our initial visit my acrylics were sticking on strong! But I needed a fill as they were outgrowing. I made an appointment this time and was seen right away, even though I was 15 minutes late! (Parking is NO JOKE!) I got a pedicure, so fabulous, I would put it up but I'm insecure about my piggies lol. I went with a pink, peachy pastel color and I'm in love again! Exactly what I wanted! I got a Gel X nail set from Anna's Nails, and they are amazing! It's been two weeks, and they still look perfect, no chips, no nails falling off, and even the gems are still intact. There's just normal growth, like anyone would have, but other than that, they still look flawless. In that time, I've traveled to another country, worked, and gone to school, and my nails have held up perfectly. I've been coming here every time I get my nails done for the past year or so, and the service is always great! The staff is super sweet and welcoming, and they always make my day when I come in. Their prices are also great for the quality you get. I've tried both acrylic and Gel X from them, and while both are really sturdy, I personally prefer Gel X because it's more lightweight. It was my first time at Anna's nails and I will definitely be going back! I was a walk-in, but they sat me within 5 minutes. I went in with possibly the worst nail job I'd had in my life, and Emily transformed them completely. Meticulous is not sufficient a word to describe her work. She shaped and re-shaped my nails to perfection. She took the time to explain what all the different types of nails entail and I ended up with a pink and white--they look very natural. On the down side, I had to search a bit for a parking space and it was a bit pricey and took longer than I am used to (no wonder with the level of attention to detail). It was my first time here and I love how my nails came out!! I got a mani and the lady did a wonderful job on them. I can't wait to go back to get a pedi. I wish I got the lady's name who did them. I am not too sure if they have designated tables but I sat at the 2nd to the last one closest to the sink. But my technician was very attentive for my vision, was relaxed, easy-going, and reasonably priced! So rude here. Didn't want to help. The owner got upset when I didn't want to dip my nails in the same pot of nail polish remover everyone else does. How hard is it to get a cotton swab and some remover and take the nail polish off yourself? That's disgusting. And paying customers shouldn't be treated in this manner. read more
