Have always loved bargain shopping at Rainbow! Great for ultra trendy pieces on the cheap you might…read moreonly wear a couple of times. Clothing ranges from about 5 bucks to max ~20 bucks (some items like jackets a little higher). Accessories, including hats, scarves, jewelry, scandals, etc. start at a mere $3.99 average around $15. This particular store is fairly new, always very well organized, super stocked, and the staff are friendly and helpful (unlike several other Rainbows...er hum, Austinhood)...that's why I shop HERE when I'm in Dallas/Addison. Quality on some items is better than others; however, I make it a point to visit at least twice a year to pick up my staple classic, plain colored extra long Ts and tanks (really all colors in the rainbow and more!); great for layering all year long and they seem to last forever. I've had some for years with no fraying or fading. Of course, I always manage to find a couple of other cute "must haves" when perusing. Shopaholics and bargain hunters unite! [162 in 2015]

I have been shopping at this place since they opened a couple of years ago…read more I would shop there a couple of times a year but always had the same issue every time I'm not sure who they had purchasing the in coming clothes from the sellers but who ever it was they had some really bad taste in the buys. Even my sister has said the same thing every time. when we would leave the store "there is some really ugly stuff in that store". Which is out opinion BUT... Today was a whole different experience I found a lot of cute clothes this time around spent almost $200 and got a lot of items that I'm really happy with Thank god they fired the old purchasing employee I'm not sure if that's what happened but the store was full of cute items this and I will be going back soon to finish what I started. ( I still had 2 more rows to dig through. lol I ran out of time to shop today Also a couple of years ago I went through my closet and gathered up alit of cute designer clothes and a lot of shoes (almost 60 pairs of shoes ). Most of them were brand new never been worn I was alittle disappointed on the girl only picking a couple of shirts and 3 pairs of Nike tennis shoes from my pile. So I was detetemed not to bring all that back to my closet so I dropped all the remaining things off at goodwill down the street. They were VERY happy for the donation I was in disbelief she didn't buy anything else from my pile But oh well I at least got a tax write off from goodwill

I don't love this location. I have store credit here that I haven't been able to spend because I…read morecan't find anything I like. Of course style is subjective & experience will vary, but here's my thoughts: - It's been quick & easy to sell, but they keep offering store credit only. There's no way to know this unless you call ahead or show up. - I found 2 pairs of shorts and 1 pair of jeans that I like. - Lots of old, dingy graphic tees and shoes (thrift store level). Not anything I would want to purchase over $5. - Small section of larger sizes (XL+). I go back every few weeks and often see the same thing - not much new. - I wish they had baskets or something to shop with. - Styles feel like they're for an older demographic. I probably won't return once I use my credit.

Cutest frickin clothes EVAR. This places throws out any other boutique I've been to in a loooooong…read moretime. They're a bit pricey but totally worth it! I was on my way up to Plano yesterday for a happy hour at Ringo's and I hated what I was wearing. I needed a new shirt ASAP and I only had 10 minutes to find one. A girlfriend recommended Melanie Gayle and I went in with the real expectation that I just may not find something I like. I was wrong! Way wrong! The two girls working were entirely too sweet and super duper helpful. I told them of my dilemma, and they started pulling shirts left and right and throwing them into the cute changing room. I tried on about 8 different shirts - and I'm not even kidding - I wanted to buy all 8 of them. I've *never* found stuff like this in other boutiques! They carried dresses, pants, skirts, party tops and all kinds of other things. I think I spotted accessories somewhere, but I was in such a rush I didn't really take time to notice them. And the best part? I got 15% off if I spent less than $100, and 20% if I spent $100 plus. Now I'm no mathematician and I *know* that's just a marketing ploy to get you to spend more, but it just so happened that I couldn't decide between two shirts so I bought them both. So I got my 20%. I promptly changed into the new shirt while one of the girls rang me up - all I did was run up and sign the receipt and everything was already wrapped up nicely to go, including my old shirt. Thank goodness there's another location in Snider Plaza that I'll be visiting frequently, because I would so be going to Plano more often for Melanie Gayle.
